'The Vampire Diaries': Damon/Elena vs. Stefan/Elena -- VOTE

In honor of March Madness, EW is launching a tournament to determine the Greatest TV Couple of All Time. But before we can finalize the brackets, we are turning to you, our hopeless TV romantic readers, to decide which five couples — all part of a love triangle on their respective shows — make it out of a qualifying round to fill the final slots. Today, we’re debating Stefan & Elena versus Damon & Elena on The Vampire Diaries.

It’s the age-old tale of two brothers, one girl, a whole lot of lust. Blood lust actually. In the Vampire Diaries world, the only thing that can come between Salvatore brothers Stefan and Damon is Mystic Falls’ very own doppelgänger, Miss Elena Gilbert. And it just so happens that between the brothers is where Elena tends to stay (and we can’t blame her). Elena has perfected the art of choosing one Salvatore, only to change her mind episodes later. To be fair, she doesn’t have an easy decision. I mean, have you seen those two?

If you have, then you should understand why we can’t choose between them. We love Damon’s blue eyes and snarky comments just as much as we love Stefan’s green eyes and brooding ways. But in order to determine the Greatest TV Couple of All Time, a choice has to be made. Put yourself in Elena’s shoes: Stelena or Delena. READ FULL STORY

Nina Dobrev beats up the boys, then shares her mom's sex-scene advice -- VIDEO

Nina Dobrev stopped by Conan last night and proved that vampire or not, she can kick some butt.

Conan baited her by playfully saying, “I don’t mean to say the wrong thing, but you’re obviously very attractive, very talented, I just don’t see you as someone who’s like kicking ass.”

That’s when Nina called on four stuntmen — who, you know, she just has hanging around with her — to teach Conan that she’s got what it takes to play an action hero.

PopWatch Planner: 'The Client List' premieres, 'Spring Breakers' goes wild, and more

You probably don’t remember, but New York was covered in snow the last time I put together the PopWatch Planner. (Sorry, y’all.) To the rest of the country: enjoy what I assume is wonderfully warm weather.

If you still need a little heat, just watch Jennifer Love Hewitt in the season premiere of The Client List. That, and other suggestions, after the jump.

PopWatch Planner: The Oscars, 'Downton Abbey,' and the Independent Spirit Awards

Could there be something happening next Sunday that we’re excited about? Hmm… Hmm… maybe something we’ve had two covers of, have seen all the movies for, and have debated and debated for months now? Yes, of course the Oscars are next weekend, but first up is this week’s exciting season finale of Downton Abbey, followed by the narrowed-down field on American Idol, Dark Skies opening in theaters, and more. Have a great week!

Twitter teases: Love them or hate them, they're here for good!

Marc Webb, director of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, tweeted a video that revealed a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it glimpse of Spider-Man’s new black mask (or should we say “eye”) and the questions came pouring.

Does this mean that they’re going to introduce the Venom character in this movie? Is the suit getting a huge makeover? Does this video reveal anything ? The answer to all these questions is: Probably not. But the video is a perfect example of the amazing (and at times, infuriating) spoiler-lite content that showrunners and directors post on Twitter.

For any pop culture obssesive, a page of a script, a photo from the set, or a short comment hashtagged with a favorite show name can provide sustenance for hours of debate. What does it all mean? What are they telling us? What aren’t they telling us?

These tiny spoilers are smart from a marketing point of view (after all, we’ve now said The Amazing Spider-Man 2 twice already in this post) and they get fans excited. So, I’ve learned to stop worrying and love the Twitter tease.

Here are a few of the best Twitter teasers out there:

'Vampire Diaries': Who do you WANT to get the cure? Who do you THINK will get the cure? POLLS!

Spoiler alert, if you haven’t watched this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries: We’re now on the island where Silas and the cure are supposedly buried. So, who do you WANT to get the cure, and who do you THINK will get the cure? Polls below! READ FULL STORY

'Warm Bodies': Which supernatural is right for you?

It’s time for Mystery Date: Supernatural Edition! While the whole vampire craze may be drawing to a close (Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 comes out on DVD March 2) 2013 is still on track to be a huge year for those that love the supernatural. Apologies to viewers who enjoy their zombies more in the style of Walking Dead, but it’s looking like the biggest trend is more romance, less death and destruction. Warm Bodies, in theaters today, centers around a love story between zombie R. and a human, Julie. It’s a great read – and surprisingly, in between the killing and the brain eating, a wonderfully original and charming boy-ish meets girl tale.

Which got us thinking: Readers probably have their personal favorites when it comes to the guys that portray these vampires, zombies, and werewolves (Ian Somerhalder, Robert Pattinson, Alexander Skarsgard, etc.) But what if we took the actors out of it? Based solely on the plotlines in the current books/movies/television shows, which supernatural should you, a “normal” human with a slight love on danger, attempt to begin a relationship with? The answer may surprise you – or help you justify a couple all-too-real conversations about an alleged hypothetical situation (ahem).

Jeremy Gilbert continues to wear tank tops on 'The Vampire Diaries' (and other small wishes TV has or could grant us this winter)

Photos have surfaced of The Vampire Diaries‘ Jan. 17 return, including this one of fledgling vampire hunter Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen, pictured) continuing to train with Damon in white tank tops. It’s a small victory, but sometimes those are the best — when what you want to happen on a TV show totally happens.

As we dive into the Winter TV season, what small wishes of yours have already been granted (the Revenge red “x” marker is back, last night’s New Girl seeming to acknowledge how white the show is), and what pleas are you hoping the TV gods hear (can Winona return to Justified just long enough to give Raylan a sexually charged home haircut?).

'Vampire Diaries' cast reads fanfiction -- VIDEO

What better way to get through the dreaded Vampire Diaries mid-season hiatus (which starts after tonight’s episode) than with a little fanfiction?

When we visited the Atlanta set of the series a couple of months ago, we asked the cast to read some colorful fan-written stories about their characters. Of course, we didn’t just serve up the usual Delena/Stelena fare (you can get your fill of that when the show returns next year). Instead, we scoured the Web for fanfics dedicated to the show’s most under-served (read: non-existent) pairings, like say Elena and Alaric (R.I.P) or Caroline and Rebekah (shippers, we know you’re out there!).

Watch the video below to see Nina Dobrev, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig and Michael Trevino read fanfiction (while trying very hard to keep a straight face).
