Batman taken prisoner by Bane? That’s what happens in The Dark Knight Rises, according to a story in the Los Angeles Times, which sent a reporter to the movie’s set last summer to chat with Anne Hathaway. The scene reportedly takes place while Gotham is under siege (does that city ever get a break?), as Bane’s goons drag a hooded Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) in front of a crowd — only to be interrupted by a stiletto-ed Selina Kyle (a.k.a. Catwoman, played by Hathaway). That’s all the detail we get from the story, but it’s plenty to chew over: Will Bane (Tom Hardy) be another Joker-style terrorist, or will he have a more specific motive?
