Meet Miley Cyrus's new hair: Very bold, very blonde, and very, very short

She really can’t be tamed! Over the weekend, onetime Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus officially completed her de-Disneyfication by dyeing her locks a bright platinum blonde — and, oh yeah, chopping them off to make a Twiggy-inspired pixie cut. Dedicated Mileyphiles should have seen this makeover coming; last Monday, the 19-year-old tweeted that she was “ready for a change,” and yesterday she signaled the cut’s beginnings by cryptically writing, “it’s happening.”

Cyrus is clearly a fan of stylist Chris McMillan’s work: “Never felt more me in my whole life ❤,” she wrote yesterday after her strands had been snipped. It remains to be seen whether she got rid of her hair on a whim or for a reason, like a charity pledge — and how fiance Liam Hemsworth feels about his lady’s new look.

Either way, Miley will reportedly put her revamped ‘do to work this fall on Two and a Half Men: E! reports that Cyrus will guest star on the sitcom as a love interest for Angus T. Jones’ half-man.

Let us know what you think of the new Miley in the poll below. And is it just me, or is she now a dead ringer for Swedish woodland creature Robyn?

Lady Gaga looks perfectly ordinary on the cover of 'Vogue', no one claimed -- PHOTO

As Tim Gunn would say: That’s a lot of look.

Lady Gaga tweeted out her September Vogue cover late Wednesday night, and as one might expect, there is quite a bit going on from the woman who regularly refers to herself as a monster.

Gaga may sing about her own “Hair,” but for Vogue, she went with a teased-out RuPaul-inspired weave. She dons a Marc Jacobs fishtail gown for her return engagement as cover star.

In another image released from the shoot, Gaga answers the question of what, exactly, is appropriate to wear along with a gigantic ostrich and marabou hat designed by Stephen Jones: absolutely nothing. READ FULL STORY

Synchronized swimming fashion: Gold for Spain!

While we await the sequin overload of the team synchronized swimming competition on Thursday and Friday, we’ve got the duet medals to look forward to on Tuesday (watch at 4 p.m. ET on MSNBC). Russia’s Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina have led since they sported suits with Michael Jackson on them for their technical routine on Sunday. You have to watch their MJ-inspired deck dance below from a competition earlier this year. Amazing. I, however, am rooting for Spain’s Ona Carbonell Ballestero and Andrea Fuentes Fache (pictured above). They sit in third after today’s free routine but are undeniably first in fashion in my eyes. Style Hunter: Jordana Brewster on Elena's go-to 'Dallas' denim

During the 21 years that passed between the end of the original Dallas series and the premiere of version 2.0, countless fashion trends have come and gone…and come back again. We’re still hoping to see Sue Ellen pull a few ’80s outfits out of her closet — if she held on to the clothes she wore back then, she’s got a treasure trove of vintage Armani! — but when it comes to the next generation of South Fork women, skinny jeans are the new shoulder pads.

“[Elena] is drilling for oil most of the time, so her style is pretty low maintenance,” says Jordana Brewster, whose character spends as much time chasing alternative energy sources as she does causing tension between Christopher and John Ross. “She does the jeans and boots look.”  READ FULL STORY
