'Chicago PD' star Sophia Bush reveals which TV character she'd date

Sophia Bush plays one of the toughest women on television as Erin Lindsay on Chicago PD, but it isn’t all an act, especially considering that Bush would like to date one of television’s scariest criminals. Then again, we’re not sure Lindsay would watch HBO’s Ja’mie: Private School Girl.

Regardless, we sat Bush down for our Pop Culture Personality Test, in which she revealed her first celebrity crush, her current celebrity crush, and her questionable fictional crush. Bonus tidbit: “Redneck Woman” by Gretchen WIlson is her go-to karaoke song.

Lots of web-surfers today are seeing red, but it’s not at all because they’re feeling irritated, angry, or bull-like. Facebook and Twitter have turned red and pink as the Supreme Court discussed whether to overturn Proposition 8.

On the two social media sites, the Human Rights Campaign changed its blue and yellow logo to a red and pink version of the image of an ‘equals’ sign.

“Red is a symbol for love, and that’s what marriage is all about,” Human Rights Campaign spokesperson Charlie Joughin told MSNBC.com. “We wanted to give people an opportunity to show their support for marriage equality in a public and visible way.” READ FULL STORY

Ben Affleck, Lea Michele, Will.i.am, other celebs honored at Do Something Awards

Celebrities and fans gathered at Santa Monica Airport on Sunday to celebrate “the do-ers” – that is, people who get out there and do something good for others, which includes both celebs and not-quite-as-famous young adults alike. The event was the annual Do Something Awards, organized by DoSomething.org and set to air on VH1 this Tuesday.

The Do Something Awards recognize a handful of celebrities for their charitable and activist efforts, along with five young adults under age 25 for their community service. This year Katia Gomez, 24, took home the Do Something Award – along with a $100,000 grant – for creating Educate2Envision, which provides education for young citizens of Honduras.

Among the celebrity winners were Ben Affleck, Will.i.am, Kristen Bell and Joel McHale, for the awards that DoSomething.org invited fans to vote upon online. READ FULL STORY
