Don't worry: Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are still friends

Everybody breathe. Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez totally got back together.

Some background, for those who are adults (but inexplicably care about this stuff anyway): For weeks, your niece has been devastated over rumors that the cover stars of BFF Magazine were fighting.  It all began last month after Coachella, when Gomez unfollowed a bunch of people on Instagram – including Taylor Swift. No one knows exactly what caused the shut-out. (Ugh. It was probably Justin Bieber-related. Sure, Taylor may have known he was trouble when he walked in — but when your friends make bad dating choices, you have to let them be. Or just write a song about it.)

But! Now Swift and Gomez are ready to prove they love each other like a love song once again. On Monday, both attended the Met Gala — such a teenage dream — and Gomez uploaded the video  below to her Instagram account, along with this message: “Sometimes you wanna just be you with someone who knows all your secrets.” Cue the music, pretty dresses, and twirling — it’s a regular Taylor Swift chorus up in here. Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez perform sexy dance routine -- VIDEO

Proving that their young love is meant to be — seriously, guys — Justin Bieber posted a pair of steamy videos in which he dances a choreographed routine (to John Legend’s Ordinary People, of all things), allegedly with his on-again, off-again lady love Selena Gomez.

Bieber reportedly posted two back-to-back clips on Instagram on March 10. But before the posts could earn thousands of angry comments from heart-broken Beliebers, the young singer took them down from his social media account.

Bieber’s representative did not respond to EW’s request for comment.

Justin Bieber winks, refuses to talk Selena Gomez in deposition -- VIDEO

Justin-Bieber-clip.jpg

In today’s Justin Bieber news, the little troublemaker is — surprise! — hilariously resistant in a just-released video of his deposition from last week.

The deposition was not for his egging or his drunk-driving cases, but for a paparazzi-related battery lawsuit from the summer. And by Bieber’s actions, it was clear he did not want to be there. Some highlights:

“I don’t have to listen to anything you have to say,” he says in a childlike mumble when told to listen up. Aw, Baby Justin is pouting!

Selena Gomez is off-limits. After he’s asked if he knows Gomez, Bieber puts his face in his hand, takes a deep breath, then pops back up: “Don’t ask me about her again.” So dramatic, so funny. He repeats this, oh, six, seven, 50, times, all while wagging his finger.

He doesn’t remember if he’s been to Australia. Oh, to be rich and famous and Justin Bieber and not remember if you’ve been to Australia. “I don’t know if I’ve been to Australia.” He turns to his lawyer. “I been to Australia?”

Footage of paparazzi does not qualify as film to Justin. When told to look up at a TV screen to watch a film, Bieber is unhappy to see that it’s just some documentary-type footage. “Is this a film?” he asks so many times they have to pause the video. What did he think? They were putting on Wolf of Wall Street?

He winked. Bieber looked at the camera and winked. Classic deposition move.

Falling asleep is one of his avoidance tactics? At one point, the lawyer asks  a question Bieber doesn’t want to answer so how does he deal with it? He closes his eyes and rests his head against the chair. Classic deposition move #2.

He has a rocky relationship with Usher. “Usher? That sounds familiar.” Bieber says. You know, Usher is the reason why Bieber became famous but his name only “sounds familiar.” But later, Bieber’s memory seems to be refreshed and when asked if Usher is a confidante, he replies, “I guess? Yes?” Poor Usher.

He gets “instrumental” and “detrimental” confused. “Isn’t it true that Usher was instrumental in starting your career?” the lawyer asks. “I was found on YouTube, I think that I was detrimental to my own career,” Bieber replies. Yes, yes, you are.

Watch the deposition clip after the jump.

Selena Gomez is an 'elegant princess' in Justin Bieber's Oscar photo

Selena Gomez stepped out at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night looking pretty glamorous — and Hollywood gawkers weren’t the only ones who noticed. The pop star’s ex, Justin Bieber, tweeted a rather up close and personal picture of the starlet on his Instagram, calling her “the most elegant princess in the world.” Naturally, the photo prompted lots of attention from his fans, including comments such as, “he still loves her! Hope they can work things out!”

So what’s the deal? Are the two actually getting back together? Supposedly, they weren’t allowed to communicate during the 21-year-old’s stint in rehab, so maybe this was just Bieber giving a well-deserved compliment to his former sweetheart. Then again, given that several large pizzas magically showed up at the Dolby Theatre Sunday, the Oscars proved that anything could happen that night — so maybe we shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss the thought. 2013 Teen Choice Awards: Miley Cyrus, 'Glee,' 'Twilight' win big

At the 2013 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night, the teens clearly played favorites, with a handful of shows and movies (The Vampire Diaries, Pitch Perfect, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2) and artists (Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus) nabbing the bulk of the prizes.

There were a lot of emotional speeches in the mix, too, from Ashton Kutcher’s commencement-worthy acceptance of the Ultimate Choice Award to Lea Michele’s tearful tribute to late Glee co-star and real-life boyfriend Cory Monteith.

Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez back together? It's possible.

It’s no secret that Justin Bieber has been heading down an interesting path lately, complete with at least one spitting incident and a portfolio full of more shirtless photos than the paparazzi has taken of Matthew McConaughey. And this spiral coincidentally started around the time that the Biebs broke up with his lady love, Selena Gomez. So is she the only one who could prevent him from shaving his head and wielding a mighty umbrella? Well, we might find out.

Just last week, Ms. Gomez flew out to Norway, which would seem random except for the fact that her ex-beau had a concert there. Biebs then posted (and quickly deleted) an Instagram photo of himself with Gomez — and more importantly, with a shirt on.

Could the duo be back together? We suppose it’s possible. Could that picture have been on his phone for a long time? That’s also possible.

Selena Gomez burns Justin Bieber on 'Letterman' -- VIDEO

In case those dueling versions of “Cry Me a River” just weren’t getting the point across, Selena Gomez wants to make it clear that she and Justin Bieber are well and truly over. And while her ex’s behavior over the past few months has been, er, erratic, to say the least, Gomez seems to be thriving post-breakup: “I’m so good,” she told David Letterman last night, giggling like a schoolgirl who can’t believe she used to date a dude who seriously owns this hat.

And that wasn’t the end of the conversation. Letterman casually mentioned that the last time Bieber visited the Late Show, the host made his guest cry — though to be fair, Bieber deserved it for thinking the Apostolic Palace’s most famous place of worship is called the “Sixteenth Chapel.” Gomez’s lightning-quick response? “Well then, that makes two of us.” Ohhh snap, or whatever the kids are saying these days!
