Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez back together? It's possible.

It’s no secret that Justin Bieber has been heading down an interesting path lately, complete with at least one spitting incident and a portfolio full of more shirtless photos than the paparazzi has taken of Matthew McConaughey. And this spiral coincidentally started around the time that the Biebs broke up with his lady love, Selena Gomez. So is she the only one who could prevent him from shaving his head and wielding a mighty umbrella? Well, we might find out.

Just last week, Ms. Gomez flew out to Norway, which would seem random except for the fact that her ex-beau had a concert there. Biebs then posted (and quickly deleted) an Instagram photo of himself with Gomez — and more importantly, with a shirt on.

Could the duo be back together? We suppose it’s possible. Could that picture have been on his phone for a long time? That’s also possible.

Selena Gomez burns Justin Bieber on 'Letterman' -- VIDEO

In case those dueling versions of “Cry Me a River” just weren’t getting the point across, Selena Gomez wants to make it clear that she and Justin Bieber are well and truly over. And while her ex’s behavior over the past few months has been, er, erratic, to say the least, Gomez seems to be thriving post-breakup: “I’m so good,” she told David Letterman last night, giggling like a schoolgirl who can’t believe she used to date a dude who seriously owns this hat.

And that wasn’t the end of the conversation. Letterman casually mentioned that the last time Bieber visited the Late Show, the host made his guest cry — though to be fair, Bieber deserved it for thinking the Apostolic Palace’s most famous place of worship is called the “Sixteenth Chapel.” Gomez’s lightning-quick response? “Well then, that makes two of us.” Ohhh snap, or whatever the kids are saying these days!

Near-freezing temps were no match for Sunday night Globe winners such as Quentin Tarantino and celebrities like Selena Gomez, who were determined to keep the party going following the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards.

Full of booze and ravenous for food, stars flocked to several bashes at the Beverly Hilton Hotel just after the awards ceremony, from HBO’s soiree at the downstairs Circa 55 restaurant and The Weinstein Company’s party at the old Trader Vic’s, to the NBC-Focus Features-Universal’s rooftop shindig, Warner Bros. InStyle‘s huge party in the Oasis Courtyard, and Fox’s tented bash just outside the hotel.

There can be Saturday Night Live hosting gigs…when you BELIEVE.

That seems to be the motto of Twitter king and recent marijuana-enthusiast Justin Bieber who is teasing fans with a potential Saturday Night Live hosting gig next month. (EW reached out to a publicist for Saturday Night Live, who didn’t return a request for comment.) Last week Bieber tweeted, “2013 got some big things coming…. gonna stay positive. #BELIEVE,” and then added, “2013. what’s coming? #snl ???” Earlier this afternoon he doubled-down, writing, “maybe im hosting and performing on SNL…maybe. :) .”

Beyonce, Jon Hamm, Steve Carell and more release PSA for gun control

On the same day as the NRA’s press conference and a week after the tragic school shooting in Newtown, Conn., celebrities are coming together with a simple message: “Enough.” In a new PSA, Elizabeth Banks, Jason Bateman, Will Ferrell, Selena Gomez, Peter Dinklage, Conan O’Brien, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Reese Witherspoon and 44 more lent their voices for a Mayors Against Illegal Guns PSA that speaks about the need for a new plan regarding guns.

“How many more colleges? How many more classrooms? How many more move theaters? How many more house of faith? How many more shopping malls? How many more street corners? Enough. Demand a plan right now,” the PSA declares.

Awkward: Bieber talks Selena in 'Oprah's Next Chapter' interview taped pre-breakup -- VIDEO

Oof. A lot of people have experienced the peculiar agony of, say, planning to attend a concert with their significant other, then getting stuck with two expensive tickets after breaking up with said S.O. But the unique awkwardness of effusively praising your partner in an interview — only to see that interview get released after you and the partner in question have split — is reserved for celebrities.

It happened to Katie Holmes, it happened to Kristen Stewart, and now it’s happening to Justin Bieber — whose big Oprah’s Next Chapter interview aired yesterday. In the interview, the Canadian idol calls fellow teenage dream Selena Gomez “one of the most genuine people,” citing her “good heart” as one of the reasons he loves her.

The only problem? Bieber and Gomez called it quits a few weeks ago, though reconciliation rumors have been swirling since the moment they split.

Awkward! For the record, Beliebers, Bieber also assures his fans that he would be with all of them — in a nonthreateningly romantic way — if he could. But as Oprah points out, he’s “just one Bieber!” Check out a snippet from the singer’s uncomfortable-in-hindsight interview below.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Selena Gomez, Ellen DeGeneres want you to 'Vote 4 Stuff' -- VIDEO

Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Amanda Seyfried. Edward Norton. Zac Efron. Tobey Maguire? No, it’s not an overstuffed ensemble comedy from the guys who brought you Martin Luther King Day — it’s a new PSA for Vote4Stuff, a nonpartisan campaign created by Maguire and his buddy Leonardo DiCaprio. Eat your heart out, Rock the Vote!

The video starts out silly — vote for “gays in the military, exclusively!” says Sarah Silverman; “I vote yes on cats. I know they’re up to something, but I like them,” counters Benicio Del Toro — but eventually gets serious. These celebs want us regular Joes and Janes to make short videos about the electoral issues we care about, some of which will be incorporated into the Vote4Stuff campaign later this month. It’ll be tough for any of those normal people-created clips to be as amusing as this one — but if you’re up for the challenge, you can learn more about Vote4Stuff on Facebook. In the meantime, let’s argue about which star’s fake political issue is the funniest:

James Franco channels costar Selena Gomez in 'Love Song' cover -- VIDEO

Now that Selena Gomez has announced she’s taking a bit of a break from recording to focus on acting, the door is open for her Spring Breakers costar James Franco to hire himself for yet another job. The Oscar nominee recently released a candid car-jam video that proves he’s just as addicted to Gomez’s candy-coated hit “Love You Like a Love Song” as the rest of us.

From Franco’s soul-penetrating stare to his emotive… ummm… gestures, not to mention the cornrows for his Breakers character, I’m not sure whether to be amused, creeped out, impressed, or all of the above. I am sure, however, that this is one viral video on which you’ll keep hitting re-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat-peat. READ FULL STORY »
