'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills': Was the tea party scene the most uncomfortable of the season?

“The Giggy is up!” Taylor Armstrong declared on last night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This statement came during the midpoint of the most uncomfortable confrontation of the series franchise yet, eclipsing even the Richards’ sisters limo tussle from the season 1 finale. Lisa Vanderpump may have invited her 90210 pals and Taylor (note the distinction) over for a spot of tea, but Taylor had other plans. She tore into the British crumpet for any number of reasons while the other ladies looked on in silent horror. Our own Karen Valby called it “a deeply weird, troubling hour of TV” and “a relentless look at Taylor barreling off the rails.” But how did the afternoon escalate from Earl Grey to abuse revelations? Kim Zolciak wedding photo: The bride wore...

…everything but the kitchen sink, apparently. Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kim Zolciak seems to have taken the approach of fellow Georgian Scarlett O’Hara with her ornate wedding gown. In pics released to Life & Style, Kim shows off her new husband (as of last Friday) Kroy Biermann and the gown to end all gowns. Covered in beading, embroidery, and hand-carved crystal roses, Kim spared no detail with her Double Duchess Satin Baracci number. She even wore a custom veil with matching beads and embroidered lace. Who says Southerners don’t understand subtlety? READ FULL STORY

EW's Bite of the Night for Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011

We at EW scoured the TV line-up last night to find the best one-liners from your favorite shows. Sunday may have been a day of rest for at least one housewife on Wisteria Lane, but Atlanta was an entirely different story. The sassy, Southern Real Housewives hit the ground running on their fourth season opener, including an epic, episode-ending showdown between outsize personalities NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield. So what qualifies as a day off for the Desperate Housewives, and what barbed banter flew back and forth between NeNe and Sheree? Keep reading…

Beverly Hills' Lisa Vanderpump joins singing 'Housewives' pantheon with 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow' (Answer: No.)

Amy Winehouse is rolling in her grave, Shirelles’ singer Shirley Owens is ripping her hair out one strand at a time, and Carole King is gnashing her teeth. At least that’s what I imagine is happening since Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump unleashed a new cover of  “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” on the world. Vanderpump unveiled a portion of the song — produced by Lionel Richie — to Ryan Seacrest this morning, and ohhhhhh it is awful. Let’s just say Danielle Staub‘s golden pipes remain firmly ensconced at the top of the Real Housewives musical heap, and Vanderpump is likely getting some serious side eye from the likes of Melissa Gorga, Countess LuAnn, and Kim Zolciak right about now. Hear Vanderpump’s stab at singing (starting around 5:20) after the jump — if you dare! READ FULL STORY

Kim Zolciak's engagement party: 10 things you WON'T hear or see

As our own Adam B. Vary pointed out in advance of Kim Kardashian’s (ultimately doomed) televised wedding fete, there are some things that inevitably go unsaid when it comes to reality stars. As Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak showed off her engagement ring today, it got us thinking: What won’t we hear or see when it comes to Zolciak’s engagement party? READ FULL STORY

EW's Bite of the Night for Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011

We at EW scoured the TV line-up last night to find the best one-liners from your favorite shows. Since American Horror Story‘s Rubber Man remains terrifyingly silent and Revenge is a dish best served with a cold shoulder, we had to look elsewhere. Leave it to an America’s Next Top Model All-Stars photo shoot inspired by Snooki and Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s NeNe Leakes to provide some of the most hilarious critiques of the evening. Which model’s attempt at homage prompted our Bite of the Night? See for yourself below…

EW's Bite of the Night for Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011

We at EW scoured the TV line-up last night to find the best quotable lines from your favorite shows. It was quite a busy Sunday, as we saw a threefer of quotable goodness from a couple of Housewives and a pair of Amazing Racers. While the reality TV entries were all about modes of transportation, it was Desperate Housewives‘ Renee Perry (Vanessa Williams) who chipped in a catty comment that took the cake… well, not literally. Read on!

We at EW scoured the TV line-up last night to find the best quotable lines from your favorite shows. Between Dancing With the Stars‘ always quotable Bruno Tonioli, the catty Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Two and a Half Men‘s nebbishy straight man, Alan Harper, and the dino-mite dialogue of Terra Nova, the competition was stiff. Who emerged victorious?

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' reunion: The devil in blue

Wow, and I thought you couldn’t top last year’s reunion! After a rather repetitive (how many times can we hear, “We’re family”?), Danielle-less season, things got fiery on part 1 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion. Teresa, dressed in electric blue, feuded with every lady on the couches, including her close friend Caroline. Jacqueline opted out of the reunion, owing to some terrible fight with Teresa that happened the night before while filming of season 4. (Even though I was curious about the Jacqueline-Teresa drama, I’m glad we were at least spared a time-wasting segment on Ashley — or should I say “Ashlee”). At this point, season 3 already feels like old news. Sure, Teresa’s Fabulicious book planted some evil seeds in the finale, but clearly the good stuff is happening right now, and no one can really talk about it. All this drama seems a bit higher stakes than usual, because the Jersey housewives have always seemed a bit more authentically linked to each other than the other Housewives — these women are either family or “like family,” further proving reality TV is Kryptonite to any relationship, even ones that appear to be rock-solid. Kelsey Grammer: 'Real Housewives' was a 'parting gift' for ex-wife Camille

While promoting his new series Boss Down Under, Kelsey Grammer had some unflattering things to say about his ex-wife Camille. When anchors on Australian news Sunrise TV asked Kelsey about Camille’s airing of his dirty laundry on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Grammer offered a terse “it’s bound to be what they do.” But his next statements seemed to show a lingering hostility for his ex. “In my mind that [show] was my parting gift to her after a very difficult marriage and a very difficult decade,” Grammer . “I thought maybe, ‘So long! Here’s a little present for you.’” Check out the full video here. READ FULL STORY
