Daniel Radcliffe succeeds in dancing his butt off on Letterman

Daniel Radcliffe and the cast of Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman yesterday and performed a showstopper that proved Radcliffe is a true song and dance man. For some reason, CBS hasn’t made the performance itself embeddable. That’s a shame. Click here for the full episode on CBS.com and catch Radcliffe and Co. at 38:20. I was a bit worried when the choreography at 39:37 seemed inspired by Human Centipede, but it kicks into high gear by 39:50 and Radcliffe is spinning, doing a handstand, and otherwise seriously hoofing it.

Al Roker becomes the fifth Wiggle: 'This will be one of the highlights of my career' -- WATCH!

For Today‘s Anchors Abroad series, Al Roker traveled to Australia to join The Wiggles live on onstage, dressed as grapes, and in the music video, “Thank You, Weatherman,” dressed in an orange skivvy. And yet, my favorite part of this whole stunt is when we cut back to Roker and the ladies of Today in the studio this morning after the U.S. premiere of the video and they were dancing. We’ll miss Meredith Vieira’s enthusiasm. That’s in the second clip below. Enjoy.  READ FULL STORY

EW's Fringe Fairy Annie Barrett a living hidden gem in the 'DWTS' ballroom -- PHOTO!

Annie_hidden_gem

In case you missed it, PopWatchers, our own Fringe Fairy/Hidden Gems expert Annie Barrett made an appearance in the front row of the Dancing With the Stars ballroom last night. Read her recap here. Instead of her regular phone call with Tom Bergeron for “The Host’s Leaderboard,” the two will be doing a video version of their weekly podcast tonight from his dressing room. Look for that to post on PopWatch Wednesday afternoon. In the meantime, let’s all wish Annie luck in achieving her Day 2 goal at Planet Mirrorballus: “to get Maks to welcome you to EW.com using only his ass. There is no reason this shouldn’t happen.”

'Brothers & Sisters' is canceled. Re-live the final moment.

Brothers & Sisters will not be returning to ABC in the fall. Something tells us the producers knew the season 5 finale would likely be the series finale when they ended it with Nora quoting George Eliot in voiceover at Sarah’s wedding — “It’s never too late to be what you might have been” — and dancing to Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” In case you missed it, watch the final moment of the series below. RIP, Brothers & Sisters. You were no longer the show we fell in love with, so we can’t pretend we’re devastated to see you go, but we did spend many a Sunday night enjoying your Walker family dinner fights and wine consumption. (At least we still have Cougar Town.)  READ FULL STORY

Alex Pettyfer to star in Channing Tatum stripper movie 'Magic Mike.' Love it already.

Alex-Pettyfer

I'll admit as someone who saw the Christopher Atkins' movie
A Night in Heaven way too young, I've got an unusual appreciation for the male stripper genre. But I truly believe Magic Mike, the film inspired by Channing Tatum's early days as an exotic dancer, moving forward is something to celebrate. First, I love that Tatum pursued turning his tale into a film whether or not his reps wanted him to. Now, I love that director Steven Soderbergh has cast Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four, Beastly) as the young stripper Tatum's character will mentor. Have I ever seen Pettyfer act? No. But like most people who read his recent VMan cover story, I'm curious about the Brit who supposedly has the phrase "Thank you" tattooed on his lower abdomen -- "In case I forget to say it," he told VMan, winking. He's not afraid to speak his mind -- he's no fan of Los Angeles, as he reveals in that piece -- but he's also got a softer, quiet side, as he showed when he made his U.S. talk show debut with Ellen DeGeneres. He told her she stars in his favorite animated film (Finding Nemo), then gamely but shyly took off his dress shirt to put on the I [heart]

Ellen T-shirt she had made for him. Watch that clip below. The 21-year-old knows how to remove a shirt. (“Do you want to help me?” he asked Ellen. Looks like a bad boy, talks like a gentleman? Sexy!)  READ FULL STORY

Chris Hemsworth's tight samba trousers make EW.com's Fringe Fairy consider seeing 'Thor'

Thanks to EW.com reader Maddie, who asked me on Twitter: “Did you know that Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth rocked the samba on the Aussie version of DWTS in pants that’d make Maks proud?”

Well thank the Lord Mirrorballus in disco heaven, I do now! Video after the break. READ FULL STORY

Stephen Moyer goes glam rock: Watch him in action

Stephen-Moyer

We’re still seven weeks away from a new episode of True Blood, so we’ll take any opportunity to see Stephen Moyer — even if it involves a boa. The actor channels Velvet Goldmine for a fashion shoot for BULLETT Magazine’s spring Illumination issue, on stands now and visible on their website. Below, watch a tease of the accompanying video cooked up by BULLETT TV. I like my glam Moyer dancing in the stairway. You might like yours in platform shoes, about to collapse onstage at LA’s Viper Room. To each his or her own. READ FULL STORY

Attention: Michelle Obama can Dougie -- VIDEO

Eat your heart out, Eleanor Roosevelt. You might have been a powerful force behind the New Deal, but we’ve got a First Lady who can Dougie… and do the Running Man. After the jump, check out a video of First Lady Michelle Obama encouraging kids to dance to Beyoncé’s “Move Your Body” by showing them a few of her own moves. Now, this is how you combat childhood obesity. After all, the Obamas have got a lot to dance about. READ FULL STORY

Evian's babies dance again (sort of) in new hypnotic commercial

Baby baby, Evian’s hoping their revived babies campaign will put your heart in motion. Just two years after releasing its “Babies on Skates” commercial — which ranked above Gary Busey but slightly below Sixth Sense-era Haley Joel Osment on the creepy-adorable scale — Evian has launched a new ad channeling the spirit of the energetic infants. (Fun fact: The 2009 commercial holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for being the most viewed ad on the Web.) The spot is pretty awesome and mesmerizing, but the Ally McBeal fan in me wishes the company had opted to use “Hooked On a Feeling” as the background track instead of “Chicks on Speed.” Click the jump to see the commercial. Warning: The hypnotic ad might suddenly make you feel parched. READ FULL STORY

Joseph Gordon-Levitt tosses table on 'Conan' set in headbanging rage, Will Ferrell vows to shave Conan's beard: Watch!

Remember yesterday when we asked what the male equivalent was to Heather Morris’ sexy dance moves? I don’t think headbanging in a bad wig is it, but it is fun to watch if it’s Hesher star Joseph Gordon-Levitt destroying the Conan set. Gordon-Levitt, a longtime headbanger, showed Conan the art. “It’s a beautiful meditation of sorts, except it rocks,” he said. It also flips tables and breaks flower vases. (“Sorry I broke your show, Conan,” Gordon-Levitt said. Okay, maybe it’s sexy.)

Perhaps Gordon-Levitt really could stop Will Ferrell from shaving Conan’s beard off when he visits the show May 2. Watch Ferrell’s taped threat below as well. Will we miss the beard?  READ FULL STORY
