Thank you, Veronica Mars! What other TV show would you donate to for a movie version? -- VOTE

Well, that was quick. Just three hours after EW exclusively broke the news that a Veronica Mars movie is happening if fans can raise $2 million by April 12, the Kickstarter campaign has already raised over $700,000.

If this gamble is successful, fans are going to begin (well, continue) clamoring for big-screen versions of their favorite cult shows — which got us thinking about what we would be most willing to fund with our own hard-earned money. On the comedy front, Arrested Development knows there is always money in the banana stand when you heed to eager fans incessant demands. Netflix’s upcoming fourth season of the show means it’s already being revived, but rumors of a big-screen adaptation still remain in the “hopeful” stage with no deal officially announced. With a cast that obviously has no problem going back to those characters, could funding it ourselves help make it a sure thing?

Veronica and Arrested are far from the only shows obsessed fans would love to resurrect. I would certainly donate cash if it meant a return engagement to Stars Hollow (give fans the Luke/Lorelai wedding we deserve!) or McKinley High School — although the now-movie-star status of so many Freaks and Geeks cast members might present problems that even Kickstarter can’t yet solve.

But let’s ignore all possible “real world” scheduling issues. If the cast was assembled and you knew the script was great, which no-longer-on-the-air cult show would you kick in actual money to see on the big screen? READ FULL STORY

Adam Scott, Lizzy Caplan, and rest of 'Party Down' cast reunite at SF Sketchfest -- EXCLUSIVE

Okay, we’re having fun now.

The principal cast of Starz’s late, lamented Party Down — a dry comedy about caterers in Los Angeles that lasted just 20 episodes — reunited this past Saturday at SF Sketchfest. Stars Lizzy Caplan, Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Ryan Hansen, and Martin Starr took the stage to reminisce about the series, all while wearing their characters’ signature white button-downs and pale pink bow ties. Food was unfortunately not provided by Soup ‘R Crackers, but by all accounts the event was a blast anyway.

Missed out on seeing the reunion live and in person? Don’t fret, my little Escapades — clicking through these six exclusive photos from it is the  next best t hing.

Lizzy Caplan joining 'Party Down' reunion at SF Sketchfest -- EXCLUSIVE

Are we having fun yet?

Not quite. But just wait until Feb. 9, when San Francisco’s Sketchfest will reunite the cast of Starz’s brilliant-but-canceled catering comedy Party Down. Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, and Ryan Hansen are already locked in as attendees — and now EW can exclusively reveal that their co-star Lizzy Caplan will join the group at this sold-out event as well.

The Party Down event won’t be the only nostalgia-baiting reunion on Sketchfest’s roster this year.  READ FULL STORY
