Olivia Wilde plays 'John Mayer or Pepe Le Pew?' with Billy Eichner -- VIDEO

Well, this is just delightful.

Olivia Wilde stopped by Billy on the Street to debut a new game: “John Mayer or Pepé Le Pew?” Host Billy Eichner reads her a quote, and she has to guess which one uttered it: The charming sleaze or the cartoon skunk.

Is the once-and-future Alex Kelly particularly good at guessing? No! Not even a little bit — but she charmingly laughs her way through all the crazy quotes Eichner throws at her, from “Everyone should have a hobby: Mine is making love” to “I really don’t want to be a hunk.” Her sense of humor is also on display when Eichner teases her about the infamous quote she gave that she and fiancee Jason Sudeikis “f–k like Kenyan marathon runners.” Fun times! 'Drinking Buddies' Olivia Wilde and Joe Swanberg Reddit AMA: Beer, bisexuals, and 'House'

Actress Olivia Wilde has a few things in common with her faux-surname inspiration, Oscar Wilde, as we learned from today’s Reddit AMA with Wilde and her Drinking Buddies director, Joe Swanberg. She’s rather funny. She was raised by writers. And she’s far from shy about discussing politics.

Drinking Buddies, a comedy about co-workers at a Chicago brewery, is currently out in theaters, iTunes, and On Demand. The tone of the AMA stayed on an even keel with the film, mostly focusing on light-hearted, lusty, first-date-y conversation topics like favorite things and dream superhero roles. Wilde, who starred as Dr. Remy ”Thirteen” Hadley on House from 2007 to 2012, was virtually pelted with questions ranging from her time on popular the medical drama, but also answered questions on the awesomeness of Drinking Buddies co-star Anna Kendrick, her favorite beer, and what it takes to parallel park (hint: a paired anatomy). Sadly, I don’t think we’ll ever get to know what her fiance, SNL‘s Jason Sudeikis, smells like.

Celebs stumble over their words -- for a good cause -- at HFPA luncheon

Acronym mix-ups and stumbles over teleprompter intros were the comic relief of Tuesday’s Hollywood Foreign Press Association luncheon, where a host of bold-faced names from film and TV gathered to accept grants for various arts-related philanthropic organizations.

“If anything’s been made clear to me today, it’s definitely the fact that I don’t think a single actor in Hollywood can read,” Jonah Hill joked while accepting a grant for four Los Angeles film organizations, including American Cinematheque and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Hill — who was one of the few who didn’t stumble over his speech – saved the day after a slew of screw ups from the likes of Dermot Mulroney and Piper Perabo, Olivia Wilde, Julie Delpy, and Demian Bichir — who mispronounced the word Chicano while introducing a grant for various L.A. educational institutions. “How can you screw that up?” the event’s emcee Eva Longoria ribbed. “It’s Chicano Studies! You’re Mexican!”

But it was all in good fun. Longoria was quick to point out that at this event — unlike the famously bacchanalian bash the organization puts on in January each year, the Golden Globes — “Nobody’s drunk, there are typos in the teleprompter!”

Slurred words aside, the event brought together stars from all walks of Hollywood, from Vince Vaughn to Liam Hemsworth to 1950s star Marcia Hunt, at the Beverly Hilton to celebrate some of their favorite causes.

Bono, Olivia Wilde, and Richard Branson join Matt Damon's 'toilet strike' -- VIDEO

Matt Damon’s “toilet strike” for water.org is claiming more and more celebrities in an Oprah-like sweep: Now Bono won’t use the bathroom! And Olivia Wilde! And British mogul Richard Branson! Like Damon, the trio has pledged “not to go to the bathroom until everyone in the whole world has access to clean water and sanitation.” Damon kickstarted the strike in February; Jessica Biel, Jason Bateman, and Josh Gad joined him in March. The movement protests the plight of the 780 million people who lack access to safe drinking water and the 2.5 billion people who go without safe water and sanitation facilities.

Olivia Wilde reads hateful insults on 'Leno' after Justin Bieber fans retaliate to her tweet -- VIDEO

Olivia Wilde learned a tough lesson this week: You don’t mess with Beliebers.

Justin Bieber, who hasn’t exactly had the greatest couple of weeks, walked around London without a shirt recently — a move that seems to be his new signature. Olivia Wilde saw a papparazzi photo, and tweeted, “Bieber, put your f***** shirt on. (unless you lost all your shirts in a fire in which case my condolences and please purchase a new shirt.)”

In her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night, Wilde jokingly explained that her initial comment came from a point of concern. You know who doesn’t care at all about the intent behind the message? Bieber fans. “About 35 million people” took to Twitter to lob insults at Wilde for insulting their dream boyfriend.

Happily for us, she read some of the most brutal remarks — including one she dubbed downright Shakespearean — aloud on Leno’s show. Watch below: READ FULL STORY
