After making headlines in Sin City, Ryan Lochte is in New York City today for appearances on Today and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Matt Lauer grilled him this morning on his recent race with Prince Harry in a Las Vegas pool. “His people came over to my table and said, Hey, Prince Harry wants to meet you,’” Lochte says. “I was like, ‘Alright, yeah, let’s go meet him.’ So I went over there, met him. I was, like, fully clothed, so was he. He was like, ‘Hey, you want to do somethin’?’ I was like, ‘What?’ He was like, ‘You want to race me in the pool?’ I was like, ‘Alright, let’s go.’ I just took off my shirt, and we jumped in, and we just started racing.” READ FULL STORY

Poor Prince Harry.
Someone lucky enough to be in his majesty’s naked presence decided to take photos of the Prince’s “crown jewels.” (That was low hanging fruit, I apologize. And I’m sorry for that bad pun, too.)
Then — luckily for us — they decided to be even worse human beings and release the photos. Come on guys, really? You’re partying with a Prince and this is what you do? Not cool. (But also, thank you so much because otherwise we wouldn’t get to see them, so maybe I’m a bit hypocritical.)
Now, his grandmother might care. He is a royal after all. But the rest of us shouldn’t. And here are five reasons why.
With two episodes left of True Blood‘s fifth season, we can’t wait to see how the many wars play out: vampire vs. human, vampire vs. fae, and V-drinking wolf vs. hot shirtless wolf (to name a few). Since we have no clue, really, we’re throwing it to you. Weigh in on the polls below. READ FULL STORY
Saturday’s primetime Olympics telecast was an interesting piece of work: It started on a surprising note with the Tom Brokaw-hosted WWII-themed short film Their Finest Hour. While fascinating, it probably went on too long (like, 30 or 40 minutes too long) for viewers who’d tuned in to see Usain Bolt anchor Jamaica’s 4 x 100m relay team to a new world record, or the U.S. women’s 4 x 400m relay team strike gold, or our Olympic Stud of the Day David Boudia become the first U.S. diver to win on the 10m platform since Greg Louganis in 1988. The broadcast ended with a Mary Carillo report centered on Shakespeare, presumably because NBC didn’t think we could handle seeing more of how exactly the U.S. women’s volleyball team buckled after winning the first set of the gold medal match against Brazil 25-11. In between, we got an obscene amount of shots of Britain’s 18-year-old diving superstar Tom Daley using the deck shower and Usain Bolt running his mouth. I’m not complaining, mind you.
THE TOM DALEY SHOWER SHOW: Now granted, my outdated cell phone added the soft lens quality, but I cannot take credit for NBC’s placement of its graphics or cameramen who kept cutting him off so he looked nude. The five most inappropriate screengrabs: READ FULL STORY
Poor, poor NBC: You’re damned if you tape-delay and damned if you don’t. Kabletown‘s redheaded stepchild accidentally stirred up more Olympics coverage controversy yesterday when one of its underwater cameras caught American water polo player Kamie Craig yanking down a Spanish opponent’s swimsuit — and exposing the Spaniard’s right breast in the process. Gonna have you nekkid by the end of this match!
The body part in question was visible for only a split second. Even then, it was partially obscured by the Spanish player’s arm, making it the least exciting wardrobe malfunction since Lindsay Lohan last showed off her Parent Trap. That, of course, hasn’t stopped viewers and news outlets from heaping abuse on NBC. (Criticizing the Peacock may just be our new national pastime.) I’m going to give them a pass on this one, though. After all, the network can’t control the actions of athletes, unless they happen to be American Gladiators.
Click below to see the moment of nontroversy. Oh, and in case you’re interested: The game ended in a 9-9 tie. Suit-grabbing Craig scored four of Team USA’s goals.
Until recently, Kaitlyn Leeb was just another unknown Canadian actress. Her IMDB resume indicates that she starred in Wrong Turn 4 and the Vinnie Jones/Kimbo Slice/Bai Ling 2010 actual movie Locked Down, along with a mandatory-in-Canada appearance on Degrassi: The Next Generation. But Leeb’s career is getting a lift thanks to her brief, uncredited, but utterly pivotal role in August’s Total Recall remake as the reincarnation of the Three-Breasted Mutant Prostitute. Leeb actually showed up to the San Diego Comic-Con and hung out with Recall stars Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale. Like many attractive women on the floor at Comic-Con, she was showing off some cleavage. Unlike most of those other women, though, Leeb had double cleavage, or “dual cleavae” as it’s known in the medical world. (Scroll down for a larger image.) READ FULL STORY
Jason Biggs’ “unreleased Magic Mike audition tape” has surfaced on YouTube. Watch the NSFW video below. Apparently he read for Matthew McConaughey’s role (not really) and performed two of Dallas’ most memorable scenes — the opening “no, no, no, no, no” monologue and the dance tutorial. If you just want to see him strip to Ginuwine’s “Pony,” jump to 2:53. Spoiler: There is a thong involved. READ FULL STORY
What was your Magic Mike experience like? I went opening night in midtown Manhattan and knew I had a good crowd when cheers broke out as Ryan Gosling made his first appearance in the Gangster Squad trailer and there was applause when Channing Tatum made his entrance in Magic Mike walking from his bed to his bathroom nude. It was only an 8:40 p.m. showing, but we’d clearly all hit a happy hour beforehand and there was audible appreciation shown throughout the movie — both for the comedy (Big Dickie Richie’s penis pump, Dallas teaching The Kid to dance) and the moves (people clapped for Tatum’s solos).
I also saw the film Saturday night in Chelsea with a different group of friends. I had high expectations for the audience when we walked into theater 4 and found a DJ. Two male “models” were on hand to dance with patrons and award prizes (like the Magic Mike T-shirt my colleague Sandra Gonzalez received). The pre-show’s emcee seemed to think this crowd was a little tame — “Did you guys actually come here sober?” — and it was. We still got an audible response for Tatum’s entrance and laughter at all the right moments, but there was no spontaneous applause. (There was, however, a theater worker handing out tiny boxes of Crunchy Nut cereal as we left, which I’d like to think was a marketing plan by Kellogg’s and not just a coincidence.)
What was your experience like? Tell us below. Then take our EW Exit Poll. READ FULL STORY
Kate Winslet is no stranger to nudity. The actress has appeared at least partially naked in films such as Little Children, Holy Smoke!, and The Reader — not to mention that iconic scene from Titanic — but Winslet is now opening up about why she’s repeatedly chosen to bare all, and she shared it’s not always just a character choice.
She told Britain’s The Sun, “I look like the people that walk down the street. I don’t have perfect boobs, I don’t have zero cellulite — of course I don’t — and I’m curvy. If that is something that makes women feel empowered in any way, that’s great.”
“On a deeper, subconscious level, it’s one of the reasons why I’ve allowed my stupid self to be so naked on screen,” Winslet said. “It’s partly because I do believe that it’s right for the character and it’s right for the story but it’s also knowing that not many people do that, actually — and not just that, but I’m a normal person.” READ FULL STORY
