'Big Bang Theory' react: Sheldon and Amy share their cutest moment yet -- VIDEO

Thursday night’s Big Bang Theory was positively loco(motive) but there’s no way to explain why without a little set up. So, here it goes:

In this Valentine’s Day-themed episode, what was supposed to be a romantic evening turned out to be a rough one for all three of the show’s major couples — Leonard/Penny, Sheldon/Amy, and Howard/Bernadette. At home, Leonard and Penny found themselves dealing with a Yorkie with a belly full of chocolate while Bernadette and Howard had to deal with a tense situation involving Sheldon and Amy.

You see, Amy planned a weekend getaway for her, Sheldon, Howard and Bernadette, and the way she convinced Sheldon to take part was by promising him a romantic dinner on a vintage locomotive. Once at dinner, however, Amy became upset when Sheldon befriended a fellow train enthusiast and paid more attention to his new (totally weird) friend than her. When she pulled him aside to give him a piece of her mind, a big fight erupted and Sheldon acted out — with unexpected consequences. Transcript and video below: READ FULL STORY

'Supernatural' recap: Honesty

The case at the center of tonight’s Supernatural was a pretty disgusting one. It involved a monster that used a trunk-like appendage to suck and consume fat from humans. Gross as that is, though, I’d rather watch 20 minutes of some monster called a Fish Taco Pishtaco munching on a portly midwesterner than 20 seconds of Sam and Dean hurling harsh truths at each other. Because at least I can turn away from the former. With the latter, there’s no choice but to sit there and watch those two battle it out, knowing all along that it’s impossibly to truly choose a side in the brother battle.

Once again, I’m exhausted by these boys. And need a hug.

'NCIS' recap: Welcome aboard

“Welcome aboard, probie.”

Those are the three words Ellie Bishop heard at the end of tonight’s NCIS, but getting to that point wasn’t easy.

In fact, there were a few moments in tonight’s episode, which saw the conclusion of the Benham Parsa arc, where it was clear that Gibbs and Bishop weren’t getting along at all. Their spat stemmed from the fact that Bishop had been hiding information about the Parsa case from the team. Specifically? She didn’t tell anyone that she was sort of an expert on him. 'How I Met Your Mother' recap: Letting go

You drenched yourself in Drakkar. You wore a fresh pair of white socks. And you pulled out the best mime moves your body could handle. Yet, the ladies at that party you just left still weren’t interested. What are two down-on-your-luck bros to do? Well, if you’re the guys we met at the top of tonight’s episode of How I Met Your Mother, you’re on your way home alone. That is, until you meet an inebriated Barney Stinson on the road, who swears to show you the way to the Promised Land…of awesomeness.

And show them he did.

Barney took these nameless bros under his wing and taught them the lessons of his people. He took them to a magical strip club to show them the wonders of fearless interaction with females, sent them to Tim Gunn to get outfitted with proper suits, and accompanied them to the party they had struck out at earlier to teach them the moves of a proper Wingman. (“Haaaaave you met…”) READ FULL STORY

'Parks and Recreation' says farewell to Ann and Chris: Will you miss them?

…and just like that, Pawnee has said goodbye to Chris and Ann. And while their move devastated Leslie Knope to the point of nearly rejecting an invitation to breakfast, in all, tonight’s farewell to Chris and Ann was a fitting one.

The episode revolved around Leslie’s efforts to execute one last huge, thoughtful surprise for her departing best friend by breaking ground on the Pawnee Commons, fulfilling a pinky promise to Ann she’d made when they first met. That proved harder than anticipated, though, as her efforts were blocked by Harold from Public Works (Chris Bauer). So while the gang enjoyed an epic party, comprised of 30 mini-parties to celebrate every holiday Ann and Leslie would not be able to celebrate together, Ann and Leslie teamed up to make the Pawnee Commons a reality. 'Supernatural' recap: 'Something's broken here'

It’s just a spat, I know. But any time the Winchester brother are on less-than-friendly terms, a tiny piece of me dies. You hear that, show, I’m DYING. And you DON’T CARE.

Sorry. Freak-out over. I’m not dying. I’m just stressed. As I mentioned, Sam and Dean are still working out some of the core issues that were left in the aftermath of the Gadreel drama. And though they tackled a couple of them head on in tonight’s episode, they’re far from done having it out over everything that has gone down so far this season. But I’ll get to that. First, we have to talk about Garth, who, it turns out, has gone through some pretty big stuff since we last saw him. READ FULL STORY

'How I Met Your Mother' recap: Did the 200th episode ShamROCK your world?

You know that moment where you learn something about a person and suddenly they’re not who you thought they were? Tonight’s 200th episode of How I Met Your Mother was a half hour of that — an unraveling of a person, in this case The Mother, that completely changed the person I’d assembled in my head over the years from the tiny, perfectly-placed clues that had been placed before us viewers. Shattered is my mental image of this Dream Girl put on this Earth solely to be the opposite end of Ted Mosby’s two-piece puzzle life, and suddenly in front of me is a real woman. A woman who’s survived real heartbreak, gone through real challenges and has real goals in life. I’ve been waiting nine years to see her like that — and I gotta say, it feels wonderful.

But let me dive a little deeper into this milestone episode and fill in the last eight years of The Mother’s life…

'Supernatural' recap: Pain & Cain

A fact about most Supernatural fans: We love the Winchester Bros. most when they’re together, fighting baddies side-by-side. That’s their natural state and a magical formula for instant awesome. A fact about this Supernatural fan? I usually try not to throw around my praise like dollar bills in a ’90s rap video. But in this case, I have to make it rain: Tonight’s episode — which found Sam and Dean pursuing their own paths following a Brother Break-up at the end of the last new episode — was one of the best episodes of the season so far. And I’m saying that as someone who has really enjoyed the season thus far. But when you have an episode that shows Dean Winchester kicking some major demon ass, Castiel making a simple PB&J sandwich a metaphor for life, the introduction of Cain (of freaking Cain and Abel), and Sam learning a valuable lesson about himself after having a needle jammed in his neck — well, what can you give that other than high praises?

But I’ve gotten ahead of myself. I’ll start at the beginning… READ FULL STORY

'How I Met Your Mother' recap: [spoiler] revealed!

Last week, Craig Thomas told me that we’d learn the names of Ted’s children in Monday’s episode, and as promised, the mystery was solved! The twist? That’s not the only big reveal in “Unpause.”

And we have an extremely drunk Barney to thank for that…

'NCIS' recap: Telling the truth

Last week’s NCIS left a lot of questions unanswered, particularly about the fate of McGee’s injured girlfriend Delilah, who was in rough condition after a bomb was detonated at a gala. This week, we got some resolution — and it was more tragic than I’d anticipated.

But let me start a the top of the episode… READ FULL STORY
