According to Snoop Lion, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are over -- VIDEO

The gods of love giveth (maybe), and the gods of love taketh away (also maybe).

Just when we were finally recovering from the news of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s potential reunion, Snoop Lion has rocked our worlds by insinuating that professional twerker Miley Cyrus and her fiance Liam Hemsworth are officially kaput.

The name-changing rapper recently collaborated with Cyrus on “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,” a single Snoop says is about “change, turnaround, and you know, just going through things.” What kind of things, specifically? “I can’t speak for her, you know what I’m saying, but I know that she has a relationship that no longer exists,” he told HuffPost Live yesterday. “I know she’s probably in a transformation change with her life, her music [and] her career.”

The team at ScreenJunkies ruthlessly takes The Hunger Games to task in an “honest” version of the film’s trailer.

Check out the video below, where nothing that reeks of the nonsensical is spared, be it the perhaps slightly exaggerated powers trees lend Katniss in her quest for survival or the state of a “future so advanced they can conjure fire and monster dogs, but not food for the poor.”

Meet Chris and Liam Hemsworth's big brother, Luke

You already know Chris Hemsworth from movies like The Avengers and Snow White and the Huntsman. You know Liam Hemsworth from The Hunger Games and upcoming The Expendables 2. But there’s a third Hemsworth, too. His name is Luke, he got into acting long before either of his brothers, and in case you didn’t know, he’s planning on joining them in Hollywood later this year. He has signed on with ROAR Management, the same team that handles his brothers.

The 31-year-old started acting ten years ago on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, but after years of chasing roles, he tells EW that he became “disillusioned” with the field and decided to open up his own timber-flooring business. While the flooring company (where both Liam and Chris have worked) has supported his family — which includes his wife Samantha and three daughters, ages 4, 2, and a new arrival who’s only a few weeks old — he decided about a year ago to get back into acting. His comeback role arrived quickly in the gritty motorcycle miniseries Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, which debuted on Australian TV in May.

We chatted with the eldest Hemsworth brother about growing up with Thor and Gale. Here’s what the affable Aussie had to say:

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: What were you all like as kids?
LUKE HEMSWORTH: We were crazy. We would spend time in the bush. Mom would say get out of the house, and we would just go. We had all sorts of large swings, and flying foxes, and various death traps throughout the forest that we’d try and do our best to hurt ourselves on. It was a great childhood in terms of being creative, I think. Getting outside, getting out of the house. Mom would put the TV in the cupboard. She’d say, “That’s it. I’ve had enough. The TV is going in the wardrobe,” and she’d lock it up for three months. READ FULL STORY »

The trinity of Hemsworth hotness will soon be complete: Luke, the oldest of the three brothers, will join Chris and Liam in Hollywood, reports Deadline. Although the first to catch the acting bug, Luke, 32, has worked exclusively in the family’s native Australia. He reportedly signed with his siblings’ management team last year and will soon have big blockbuster shoes to fill: his younger brothers Chris, 28, and Liam, 22, starred in two of this year’s highest grossing U.S. films, The Avengers and The Hunger Games, respectively. Hemsworth most recently shot Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, a miniseries about two warring motorcycle clubs in Sydney. Try and spot him… READ FULL STORY »

Brothers battle royale: Two Hemsworths enter; one Hemsworth leaves?

Liam and Chris Hemsworth are on the verge of something improbable, if not unprecedented. Not only did both brothers hit the genetic lottery, but both are essential components of studio franchises that will dominate the box office this year. Liam, 22, laid the foundation for his character, Gale, in The Hunger Games, and has a role in the upcoming AARP action film, Expendables 2. Chris, 28, is, literally, a Norse god, playing Thor again in The Avengers, as well as the Huntsman in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman.

What makes the Hemsworths’ success so unusual is that it contradicts one of the quirky unwritten laws of Hollywood stardom, which seems to predicate that when brothers experience renown in the movie business, one of them absorbs the celebrity and enormous success while the other operates in the shadows. Jeff and Beau Bridges. Matt and Kevin Dillon. Alec and Every Other Baldwin. (In a way, it’s not unlike Sith lords.) READ FULL STORY »
