Once upon a time, Jon Hamm competed on a dating show — and lost. But although it happened back in 1995, the internet only found out about the incident recently. So when Craig Ferguson interviewed the Mad Men star on The Late Late Show Tuesday, he naturally used the opportunity to find out more about young Hamm’s foray into dating shows.

From the moment that David Letterman announced that he was retiring from his record-setting stint as the host of the Late Show, people have been speculating about what this could mean, us included. Will this be Jon Stewart’s chance? Or perhaps this is the time for a woman to take over the world of late night?
But as much as we can speculate, nobody at this point has much to go on. Turning to the professionals, we let the oddsmakers at Brovada tell us who they think will replace Letterman as host of the Late Show. Here are the odds they gave us:

Audience members at the Late Show with David Letterman got a surprise last night when a barely-clothed Lady Gaga invited everyone to come across the street to the Roseland Ballroom and listen to her perform two songs as part of her Homecoming tour. The Roseland Ballroom is closing its doors for good following Gaga’s performance next Monday.
And yes, that is Lady Gaga posing for a selfie with Letterman and fellow guest Bill Murray. Because why not?

James Van Der Beek had plenty of fan girls during his Dawson’s Creek days. But the way he tells it, screaming teens were the least of his worries back then.
When visiting Late Night to promote his new show, Friends with Better Lives, on Thursday, Van Der Beek told Seth Meyers that his craziest stalker was a man who made him mix-tapes featuring songs from films and TV shows that the actor appeared in. Seriously. Check out his funny-scary recollection here:
During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Arnold Schwarzenegger proved why he’s a good sport.
In a QVC cooking show skit, Schwarzenegger took us all back to his Predator days with one line: “Get to da choppa!!!” Of course, this time, he was referring to a vegetable chopper instead of a helicopter — not to mention that he was wearing an apron — but who cares about the details, right? Once a Schwarzenegger, always a Schwarzenegger.

Late Night Highlight: Enrique Iglesias teaches Andy Cohen how to seduce a woman (hint: dance!) -- VIDEO

Just last week, Fox’s Lisa Kennedy joked with Kristin Cavallari about Jenny McCarthy’s decision not to vaccinate her kids. Then, in an awkward moment viewers won’t soon forget, Cavallari announced that she had also made the decision not to vaccinate.
And last night, on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Kristin Cavallari about her controversial decision. Cavallari said she felt she was doing what’s right for her kids. “There are very scary statistics out there regarding what is in vaccines,” she said.
Watch Cavallari, who’s currently expecting her second child with husband Jay Cutler, below:
In the world of Hollywood, there are a few key places where stars tend to meet for the first time: At a casting call, on a red carpet, at a Whole Foods, or at a gym. And for Seth Meyers and Anderson Cooper, it was a gym.
On Late Night with Seth Meyers, guest Anderson Cooper talked about meeting Meyers at “pretty much the gayest gym on the planet,” which influenced how Cooper saw Meyers. “I assumed you were gay, ’cause there weren’t a lot of other reasons to be there,” Cooper tells the Late Night host.

Hipsters, beware — music festival-goers are becoming a favorite target of Jimmy Kimmel.
In front of an audience at SXSW in Austin last night — Jimmy Kimmel Live has been taping from the festival since Monday — the late-night host noted that “people who come to music festivals pride themselves on knowing who the new acts are, even if they don’t know who the new acts are.” To prove his point, Kimmel sent a “Lie Witness News” camera crew into the streets of Austin to ask music fans their thoughts on totally made up artists, including Contact Dermatitis, Neil Patrick Harassment, female rappers Heavy Flow, and a whole slew of geeky Game of Thrones-inspired bands, including Daenerys Targaryen and the Dragon Ponies.
Black Simon and Garfunkel made their first appearance on The Tonight Show on Wednesday, performing Lorde’s “Royals” with their special brand of folky, Uptown hep.
Frequent guests on host Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night, the duo — made up of The Roots’ Questlove and “Captain” Kirk Douglas — were a special request out of the Fallon’s Suggestion Box.
Our only suggestions: These segments should be a little longer, and Tonight needs to let us know where to pick up that Black Simon and Garfunkel box set.
