Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding: Details from the very public private ceremony (updated)

The Wedding of the Century has finally taken place: Yes, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West officially tied the knot on Saturday.

The ceremony was held in front of nearly 200 family member and friends in Florence, Italy, People reports. Details about the extravagant, multi-day celebration have been making headlines for weeks; this is a couple whose everyday lives are filmed for TV cameras, after all.

If this was indeed a private affair — reportedly some of the events, but likely not the ceremony itself, will appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians — where is the line drawn between Kimye’s public persona and their personal life? For a couple that seems to exist in a never-ending, over-the-top hip-hop video, we’re trying to figure that out. Here’s what we know. READ FULL STORY

PopWatch Planner: 'House of Cards' returns, 'Pretty Little Liars' goes black and white, and more

Newsflash: This week is all about the Olympics. So if at any point, you feel the need for a good sports fix, simply change the channel to see what’s happening in Sochi. It is always acceptable, and often encouraged. That being said, we wanted to make sure you had a list of entertainment options that didn’t involve skin-tight uniforms and/or Bob Costas’ pinkeye.

Olympics aside, here’s what you’re looking at for your upcoming week of pop culture adventures:

PopWatch Planner: The Super Bowl, the Sochi Olympics, 'The Monuments Men', and more

Yes, this week is a little heavy on the sporting events. Between the Super Bowl and the kick-off of the Sochi Olympics, it’s simply something we can’t ignore. However, the good news for non-sports fans is that there are plenty of other entertainment options to go around. Some of your favorite shows are returning, some of your favorite reality shows just keep getting better, and did I mention that George Clooney will be hitting the big screen? Here’s what this week has in store:

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged

Kanye West, 36, proposed to Kim Kardashian on Monday, October 21, her 33rd birthday. He did it in front of their family and friends after renting out AT&T Park in San Francisco — a park which may now be ruined for many, many people. It’s too soon to say how many, but it’s safe to say AT&T Park is not amused. “I never asked for this,” a blade of its grass told EW exclusively.

Kim said yes! There may have even been a video camera or 600 around. Expect more footage of this moment than you could possibly imagine, coming up on E! tonight, all week, and for the rest of your life.

E! — which in the case of the Kardashians is like a flesh-eating bacteria on a hand that keeps regenerating itself, and I mean that with the utmost respect (#Halloween) — announced the news at 1:13 a.m. ET. I can’t believe they got the exclusive! Do you think they pulled some strings?

The press release/article is a trip, if you’re up for it. And apparently I am!

'Keeping Up With the Kardashians': Five storylines we need resolved

There are rumors flying around that Keeping Up With the Kardashians could be nearing its end, with Radar Online interviewing insiders who say people are “over it” and the Kardashian brand is suffering.

But I’m going to have to disagree: I am more invested in this family than ever before, and in my opinion, now would be the worst time for Keeping Up to call it quits. After all, the Kardashian rumor mill is particularly active right now, and isn’t the show the best way to shut up the gossips?

Plus, if the Kardashians were to step out of the spotlight right now, we would never see the resolution to some very important storylines, such as:

After Obama's Kimye comments, Kris Jenner defends her right to 'have nice things' -- VIDEO

Kris Jenner is unhappy with the leader of the free world.

Recently, when President Barack Obama was interviewed by David Blum of Kindle, he mentioned that the idea of the American Dream has shifted. “There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous,” the president said. “Kids weren’t monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success.”

Momma K was none-too-happy about her daughter and the father of her granddaughter being singled out as examples of extreme fame and wealth (you’d think she would love that, right?). She took to her new talk show to respond to Obama, because clearly he’s a fan.

“I wasn’t aware that we could only set the bar so high, and that we could only dream so big,” Jenner said. “I was taught, dream big, work hard — and you could have whatever you wanted.

“Well, Kanye West, first of all, doesn’t go on vacation,” she continued. “Kim Kardashian is the hardest-working young lady in the world. She never sleeps; she never stops; she never slows down and [she] works so hard for what she’s got.”

Then she goes on to explain how beneficial she and her offspring are to the economy — because their empire of fame employs hundreds. (We thank you, our noble benefactors, for this tiny morsel of generosity.) Jenner also points out that the president has an even bigger house than she does! She calls being the president of a nation rife with problems and discontent a “wonderful fabulous life.” She also doesn’t think it’s a bad thing that her family wants to do their best (at what exactly?) and “have nice things.”

Is she totally oblivious, or is she just really terrible? Watch the clip and decide for yourself:

Kim and Kanye have named their baby ...

America, if you’ve been Keeping up with the Kardashian baby name saga, the speculation game is officially over.

And the answer isn’t Kaidence. (Unfortunately?)

People confirms that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their celebspawn … NORTH WEST.

Yes, far less awesome than North-by-North, but we’ll take it. I guess. If I’m being honest, I’m a little underwhelmed — mostly because rumors of a baby named North have swirled since March.

TMZ, the common man’s wooden easel, was the first to report.

Bruce Jenner doth protest too much in awkward Jimmy Fallon interview -- VIDEO

Note to Bruce Jenner: Repeatedly insisting what a good sport you are isn’t, in fact, the most effective way to convey that you’re a good sport.

Jenner was Jimmy Fallon’s guest on Late Night yesterday — a move that may surprise anyone familiar with what happened between the two at last year’s Olympic Games. (The short version: Fallon made a few jokes about Jenner’s plastic surgery during an event; later, they ran into each other, and Jenner angrily asked Fallon to “stop saying sh– about my face.”)

The interview got off to a bad start when Jenner cheerily noted that Fallon had never sent him an apology — and things just got more uncomfortable from there. The reality star — and one-time World’s Greatest Athlete —  unconvincingly declared that, as a member of “the Kardashian group,” he’s basically immune to mockery, proclaimed that he’s never been shy about having work done — “I had it done on camera in our show!” — and, in an admittedly funny bit, whipped out a few dorky pictures of Fallon as payback. Kris Jenner tries for her own moment in the spotlight with new talk show -- VIDEO

One of the most famous momagers is no longer content to just be lurking around Kardashian manor micromanaging daughters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe. Kris Jenner will continue her quest for world domination on July 15 with the premiere of Kris, a one-hour program devoted to “[a] daily jolt of celebrity guests, fashion and beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics — all through the distinctive and unpredictable perspective of Kris Jenner.” The most surprising detail to come out of the trailer description is that this show will be airing on Fox stations, not E!.

The preview, which seems like an outtake from a Real Housewives intro taping, is most fun if you listen to “Rose’s Turn” from Gypsy before you watch: READ FULL STORY

'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' season premiere recap: Kim and Kanye are having a baby!

Keeping Up With the Kardashians debuted last night with its seventh season premiere. Or was it the eighth season premiere? Shut up, stupid! Who’s got the time to learn how to count, when there’s so much happening in the Democratic Republic of Kardashiana? Kim is having a baby! Kim is still getting a divorce! Kim is buying a house! Also, there’s a lot of things happening with the other Kardashians. Just kidding. Actually, the other Kardashians remain frozen in reality-TV purgatory, forever forced to endure the same sitcom plots, thanks to a deal Kris Jenner made with the devil probably. Also, Kendall and Kylie keep getting more screen time. Pray for them. READ FULL STORY
