Sure, some of the interview is actually pretty sweet—he talks about wanting to make sure his daughter’s life is better than his own, how much he loves his wife, Kim Kardashian, how special it is to have someone to call “Mom” once again. (He also basically confirms that every insane rumor you heard about the Kimye wedding was 100 percent true.) But when we look to Kanye West, we’re hoping to get some more of his signature out-there statements—and luckily, there’s no shortage of them in this latest interview. The best examples, totally out of context:

Kanye West doesn’t have the best history with airports: He’s been arrested twice, once in 2008 and another time in 2013, for getting in altercations with photographers at LAX. But in a clip TMZ obtained from a failed 2010 reality pilot about West’s travel agent, the rapper claims he likes being in airports—he just has to have a few strategies for dealing with the people in them.
For such a high-profile couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West surely didn’t disappoint with their extravagant European wedding affair last week, sharing photos and details of the events to the public before and after.
Now one of those photos is the most popular upload to Instagram ever: Kim and Kanye’s first kiss photo posted Tuesday has more than 1.92 million likes on the bride’s Instagram page. Before you roll your eyes, the previous record-holder was none other than Justin Bieber and former/maybe current flame Selena Gomez from five months ago with the caption “Love the way you look at me.” Okay, now you can finish that eye roll. This weekend, Kim Kardashian was married for the third time. The #Kimye wedding saw the reality TV star don two separate wedding dresses. That’s a relatively modest number: Kim’s 2011 wedding to basketball caveman Kris Humphries featured three different bridal gowns. When you factor in her early-2000s marriage to Damon Thomas, this means that Kim Kardashian has worn six dresses at three weddings. Three Weddings and Six Dresses could probably make a charming romantic comedy, but until Kris Jenner sells the movie rights to Kim’s life, we’ll have to settle for a style-centric back-and-forth between EW staffers and Kardashian experts Hillary Busis and Darren Franich. Because Game of Thrones wasn’t on this week, darn it, and this is the next best thing. (Kris is such an Olenna.) READ FULL STORY
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially a married couple, which means that the next question people are asking is: How long will it last? Sure, it’s a depressing thought, but it’s one that can be backed up by many a Hollywood couple tying the knot only to decide to end things 72 days later. OK, maybe that was just one couple, but still.
That being said, it’s not really a question we can answer, which is why we reached out to Kevin Bradley, Sportsbook Manager of Bovada.lv, who gave us some official odds on the situation. And for comparison, we also asked him about some of Hollywood’s other big couples.
Kanye West reportedly gave 20-minute toast at wedding. So, how many times did he quote his own lyrics?
To the beautiful, lucky soul who is not yet aware: Kanye West and Kim Kardashian got married over the weekend.
Details about the ceremony and reception are slowly emerging. One nugget that caught our eye: According to E! (of course), West reportedly gave a 20-minute toast where he, ugh, called the Kardashian family “the most remarkable people of our time… [who] make the world a better place.” “Drunk in Love” is probably the kindest response to that statement.
“I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means,” Kanye West once declared. “I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of Internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period…I understand culture. I am the nucleus.” Could this man really manage not to quote himself — via his lyrics — during an emotional speech? READ FULL STORY
Although he couldn’t know it at the time, Kanye West inadvertently gave voice to his own future wedding guests with this lyric from 2007’s “Stronger”: “You should be honored by my lateness/that I would even show up to this fake sh–/So go ahead go nuts/go apesh–.” (Important note: Beyoncé and Jay Z declined to show up to “this fake sh–.”)
As everyone is all too aware, Kim Kardashian made her third trip down the aisle this past weekend. (#ThirdTimesTheCharm?) And now E! — because of course — has photos of the big event. Photo one is a shot of the couple in front of a wall of flowers; shot two shows Kardashian and West in leather jackets as Kanye (probably) explains the Grease-inspired concept for his next album. Sample lyric: “There are worse things I could do/ than marry a reality star or two/ Even though the neighborhood/ thinks she’s trashy and no good…” READ FULL STORY
The Wedding of the Century has finally taken place: Yes, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West officially tied the knot on Saturday.
The ceremony was held in front of nearly 200 family member and friends in Florence, Italy, People reports. Details about the extravagant, multi-day celebration have been making headlines for weeks; this is a couple whose everyday lives are filmed for TV cameras, after all.
If this was indeed a private affair — reportedly some of the events, but likely not the ceremony itself, will appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians — where is the line drawn between Kimye’s public persona and their personal life? For a couple that seems to exist in a never-ending, over-the-top hip-hop video, we’re trying to figure that out. Here’s what we know. READ FULL STORY
Like everyone who saw the premiere of Kanye West’s “Bound 2″ music video on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Seth Rogen was in awe. Unlike the rest of us, the very next morning he took that inspiration and began filming a shot-for-shot parody of the video with pal James Franco.
The spoof was a viral hit. We all had a good laugh — even West, much to the surprise of everyone (Jimmy Kimmel in particular). And then West invited Rogen and Franco to his upcoming wedding to Kim Kardashian.
It was a strange chain of events, to say the least. So naturally, Rogen talked about how it all went down when he stopped by Ellen to promote his new movie, Neighbors, on Wednesday.
Rogen says that once he and Franco realized the best way to parody “Bound 2″ was to re-create it shot-for-shot, they “became obsessed with getting it, like, perfect…even the lighting. I would try to nuzzle the same way [Kim] nuzzled….I got razor burn from Franco.” READ FULL STORY
James Franco and Seth Rogen may have found a second career in spoofing Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
First, the long-time friends released that hilarious, shot-for-shot parody of West’s “Bound 2″ music video — the one featuring a topless Kardashian straddling her fiancé on a motorcycle, remember? — back in November. Now, the actors have tackled the Vogue cover that declares “Kimye” the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple. Franco posted this Photoshopped image to Facebook on Friday:
