Why don't you age?! 11 stars who might be immortal

The Following features a lot of scary imagery — the word “NEVERMORE” scrawled in blood on a wall, those creepy Edgar Allan Poe masks, oodles and oodles of gouged-out eyeballs. But the spookiest thing about the show may be its star — whose face in 2013 is almost as boyish as it was when he starred in Footloose nearly three decades ago.

What can explain Bacon’s immortal looks — good genes? An all-kale diet? Is he secretly a vampire, maybe? Whatever the cause, he’s not alone — Hollywood is filled with folks who never seem to age. Here’s a list of the top 11; let’s hope they share the secret to eternal life with the rest of us someday.

Jennifer Lawrence is just like you: She’s open about a crush on John Stamos from his Full House days, and thinks the Puppy Bowl is “genius.”

Lawrence continued her quest for total talk show domination last night on Conan, with an appearance that started off on a gushing note. “I’ve been watching the show for 15 years and I’m 22 years old,” she said. “The producer said to me, ‘Andy Richter’s going to hug you,’ and I started tearing up.” She explained that prior to this interview, O’Brien had swung by her dressing room and she had forced him to do many of his signature bits for her, including the String Dance.

The love was clearly mutual. While O’Brien praised her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, he also had fun teasing the star, who could more than keep up with him. While talking about a Super Bowl party she threw for her friends at her house, she explained that her plans were more about a little event that happened prior to the big game. “It was just a lot of drinking, I guess,” Lawrence said of the party. “We watched the Puppy Bowl…. It’s just puppies! And then they have a little camera in the water bowl — it’s genius!” READ FULL STORY »

Broadway is about to get a little more of Uncle Jesse, Maddie, and Charlotte when John Stamos, Cybill Shepherd, and Kristin Davis join the cast of the twice-extended revival of Gore Vidal’s The Best Man.

The newcomers to the show will step into the roles currently played by Eric McCormack, Candice Bergen and Kerry Butler, respectively, when the trio departs on July 8. Elizabeth Ashley will also step into the play, replacing Angela Lansbury beginning on July 24.

Although The Best Man failed to take home a trophy at this year’s Tony Awards, the politically-charged play–about two mudslinging presidential candidates vying for endorsements at their party’s national convention–has seen steady grosses and an average 85-percent house capacity since its opening in April. The production has extended its limited engagement twice already, but is scheduled to end its run on September 9.

Current stars John Larroquette, James Earl Jones, and Jefferson Mays are set to remain with the production until it closes.
