'Red vs. Blue': Check out behind-the-scenes season 10 footage -- EXCLUSIVE

The 10th season of the web series Red vs. Blue came to a close last night — leaving fans of bickering, foul-mouthed, and life-endangeringly incompetent sci-fi soldiers with time on their hands.

Or maybe not.

Today sees the release of theĀ Elijah Wood-assisted 10th season on DVD and Blu-ray and the debut of the 14-disc RVBX: Ten Years of Red vs. Blue box set. The latter boasts all the seasons of Halo-inspired, machinima-mayhem, plus eight hours of bonus features, including the behind-the-scenes, “Red vs. Blue: Story Board to Screen” video you can see, exclusively, below.

Boxing hobbits! Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan 'beat the s--' out of each other at Fantastic Fest -- VIDEO

A couple of weeks back, Fantastic Fest organizer Tim League spoke to us about his then upcoming debate and boxing match with bare knuckle pugilist James Quinn McDonagh, star of the Austin, Texas fest’s selection Knuckle. What League neglected to mention (the swine!) was that another of the night’s bouts would feature Lord of the Rings co-stars “Relentless” Elijah Wood and “Domineering” Dominic Monaghan.

That’s right, on Saturday, Frodo and Merry stepped in the ring to first argue the merits of World of Warcraft and then, in the words of Wood, “beat the s— out of one other.”

EW Reunions: Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Elijah Wood reminisce about 'Lord of the Rings'

LOTR-REUNIONSince hobbits routinely live for more than a century, 11 years is practically nothing, right? That’s how long it’s been since actors Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Elijah Wood flew out to New Zealand in August 1999 to start shooting The Lord of the Rings. Now here they are, in an L.A. studio on a hot May morning, posing for EW’s Reunions issue and catching up on lost time. Monaghan, sporting crutches after breaking his foot while surfing, proceeds to show off his new Kat Von D tattoo (It reads, “Luminous beings are we, not just crude matter,” as spoken by Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back), while Astin’s three adorable daughters sprint around the studio. It doesn’t take long before the trio’s conversations turn back toward those two years in New Zealand. READ FULL STORY
