Blood, boob sweat, and unnecessary tears: 5 questionable things from the '#RichKids of Beverly Hills' premiere

When a show is called #RichKids of Beverly Hills, you can kind of expect what you’ll see when you tune in: Wealthy offsprings spending their parent’s money like it’s a job. Unfortunately for some of these kids, it actually is. The new E! reality show featuring a group of twentysomethings living in Beverly Hills premiered Sunday and the first episode was filled with blood, sweat, and tears. Make that a Beverly Hills Blood Drive, cleavage sweat from too much shopping, and lots of crocodile tears.

Here are 5 of the most questionable things that happened in the first episode:

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged

Kanye West, 36, proposed to Kim Kardashian on Monday, October 21, her 33rd birthday. He did it in front of their family and friends after renting out AT&T Park in San Francisco — a park which may now be ruined for many, many people. It’s too soon to say how many, but it’s safe to say AT&T Park is not amused. “I never asked for this,” a blade of its grass told EW exclusively.

Kim said yes! There may have even been a video camera or 600 around. Expect more footage of this moment than you could possibly imagine, coming up on E! tonight, all week, and for the rest of your life.

E! — which in the case of the Kardashians is like a flesh-eating bacteria on a hand that keeps regenerating itself, and I mean that with the utmost respect (#Halloween) — announced the news at 1:13 a.m. ET. I can’t believe they got the exclusive! Do you think they pulled some strings?

The press release/article is a trip, if you’re up for it. And apparently I am!

'Keeping Up With the Kardashians': Five storylines we need resolved

There are rumors flying around that Keeping Up With the Kardashians could be nearing its end, with Radar Online interviewing insiders who say people are “over it” and the Kardashian brand is suffering.

But I’m going to have to disagree: I am more invested in this family than ever before, and in my opinion, now would be the worst time for Keeping Up to call it quits. After all, the Kardashian rumor mill is particularly active right now, and isn’t the show the best way to shut up the gossips?

Plus, if the Kardashians were to step out of the spotlight right now, we would never see the resolution to some very important storylines, such as:

Why you should be watching 'The Wanted Life'

In 1992, MTV’s The Real World introduced all of us to the concept of watching seven strangers live in a house, argue, make countless questionable decisions, “work” by day and party by night. More than a decade later, that concept has continued to expand and create guilty pleasure after guilty pleasure, and often flop after flop, which is why it’s rare that yet another formulaic reality show can top the original gooeyness of something like a Real World of a Jersey Shore. However, what happens when you add celebrity status, accents and pop music to the mix? If you ask me, it makes things a lot more interesting. Welcome to The Wanted Life. READ FULL STORY
