Here's Chris Pratt rapping Eminem's part of 'Forgot About Dre'

If Guardians of the Galaxy’s big climax ended with a rap battle for the fate of the universe, the galaxy would probably be in good hands as long as Chris Pratt was on the mic.

Stopping by DJ Whoo Kid’s The Whoolywood Shuffle, the actor proved his cred by flawlessly spitting Eminem’s verse from ‘Forgot About Dre’ off Dr. Dre’s The Chronic 2001. After thoroughly impressing DJ Whoo Kid with his delivery, Pratt pulls a classic rap-game follow-up by dissing Orlando Bloom on air. Since dropping bars and starting beefs are time-honored hip-hop traditions, Pratt’s off to a pretty promising start if he ever wants to moonlight as an MC. READ FULL STORY

Sean 'Diddy' Combs tops Forbes' list of wealthiest hip-hop artists

“It’s all about the Benjamins, baby,” Sean “Diddy” Combs proclaimed in 1997 on his debut album, back when he was known as Puff Daddy. He rapped about wanting to be a “shot-caller,” and, well, now he definitely has enough Benjamins to call the shots.

Today Forbes reported who the world’s five wealthiest hip-hop artists are, and Combs topped the list with an estimated net worth of $580 million. The rapper-actor-producer-entrepreneur also was number one on the list last year, when his net worth was a reported $550 million.

Forbes reports that a good chuck of his wealth comes from non-musical ventures, like his deal with Diageo’s Ciroc vodka brand, which supplies the rapper with eight-figure annual payouts.

Drink tequila with George Clooney -- and 22 other celebrities in the business of booze

Have you ever wanted to share a bottle of tequila with George Clooney until he got so drunk that he mistakenly thought you were Stacy Keibler? OK, so we can’t really help you out with the second half of that scenario, but the first half is suddenly much more plausible thanks to Clooney’s latest business venture.

The sexier-with-age movie star is teaming up Rande Gerber to create Casamigos, a new brand of tequila. According to Vanity Fair, Gerber and Clooney will sign every bottle that is made, number it and even taste it themselves (aka you’re sharing a drink with George Clooney … get it?). But as delicious and tempting as it all sounds, we always imagined that Clooney was more of a scotch neat kind of guy.

But Clooney isn’t the first celebrity to surprise us with his taste in alcohol, and we’re sure he won’t be the last. Here’s a rundown of some celebrities who have given the business of booze a try. Who matches up best with his or her drink of choice?

Simon Cowell unveils new Sony headphones

Watch out Dr. Dre — this town’s not big enough for two sets of celebrity-backed high-end headphones.

Simon Cowell has announced a new line of headphones that will be distributed by Syco Entertainment, his business collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment. The X Headphones will cost $299 and should compete with Dr. Dre’s stupidly successful Beats by Dre.

In a statementThe X Factor creator and judge flexed his signature humility: “I simply wanted something better than what is in the market today. I’ve tried all of them, literally every single one. Sony and I set out to create the best headphone in the world. We are absolutely blown away by these. With the X headphones, it’s like being in the recording studio when the records are made. The sound is that clear.” READ FULL STORY

Dr. Dre earns more than Jay-Z and Kanye West combined

Wait.  What?

Yep, you read that correctly.  The aging hip-hop legend who hasn’t released an album in 13 years earned more this year than Yeezy and Hova combined, pulling in $110 million, according to Forbes. How? Beats by Dre is how. His ludicrously successful line of headphones saw annual sales of close to half a billion dollars.

Kanye and Jay-Z, on the other hand, made a paltry $35 and $38 million, respectively, on the heels of Watch the Throne. Just goes to show that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but you can teach it to develop and market consumer electronics and make piles of money.

Keep your other other Benz, Kanye; Dr. Dre’s busy polishing his other other other yacht.

Oprah tops Forbes list of highest-paid celebs, Michael Bay trails close behind

Oprah Winfrey is the highest paid celebrity in the world. Again. Despite a seismic $125 million earnings loss, the media mogul topped Forbes’ annual list of the 20 highest-earning celebs for the fourth year in a row. Winfrey ended her 25-year reign as talk-show queen last year and her network OWN has been struggling financially, but she still made an estimated $165 million.

Her Harpo productions shows, which include Dr. PhilRachael Ray, and The Dr. Oz Show, her magazine, and satellite radio station helped her nab the top spot, but Forbes won’t count syndication money next year, potentially allowing runner-up director Michael Bay, who trailed behind by a mere $5 million, to garner the coveted spot. Bay’s last film, The Transformers: Dark of the Moon, grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide.

A sizable number of the celebs on the list are producers and directors, including Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer, Dr. Dre, and Tyler Perry, who rounded out the top six. Dre made a surprise appearance on this year’s list, due to the incredible success of his line of headphones, Beats by Dr. Dre.

Tom Cruise (No. 13) was the only movie star in the ranking. Britney Spears solidified her comeback by tying for the last slot, while Ryan Seacrest, at No. 19, proved that he’s a fixture on every power list.
