By now, we should know everything about Victoria Beckham. After all, she’s been in the limelight since her Spice Girls days in the ‘90s. So what new facts could we possibly learn about the artist formerly known as Posh Spice?

David Beckham goes to play in Paris

In a different kind of football, big news has just broken about soccer’s biggest celebrity. Former L.A. Galaxy darling David Beckham will be brushing up on his French in the coming months, THR reports. And although he deserted us in the States, we can’t help but love him anyway for his latest move.

Beckham has signed on to play with Paris Saint Germain – for free, according to the BBC. All of the money he earns during his five-month deal with the French team will be going to a children’s charity in Paris.

Of late, Beckham has been somewhat more famous off the soccer pitch than on it. After his move to L.A., which gave him A-lister status and made him and his wife — former Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham — a staple on Hollywood red carpets, the soccer player’s work in fashion and modeling eclipsed his athleticism.

While David Beckham hits the field in Paris, Victoria Beckham will stay in London with the couple’s four children –  Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

Snoop Lion wants you to 'un-Scrooge' yourself

No one knows Dickens quite like Snoop Dogg… er… Lion.

In partnership with Adidas, the rapper-turned-Rastafarian has graced us with a stirring animated rendition of A Christmas Carol. The video, illustrated by Beavis and Butthead‘s J.J. Sedelmaier, tells the story of Ebenezer Snoop, a former gadabout who’s lost his holiday mojo. Dickens’ notorious Christmas ghosts — portrayed here, somewhat inexplicably, by sports greats Stan Smith, David Beckham, and Derek Rose — take Snoop to parties throughout time and show him the error of his ways. Rap puns abound (“Bah! Humbizzle!”) and the malt liquor flows like eggnog – imagine the Christmas fable by way of Don’t Be a Menace and you’ll get the idea. And, you may notice, the runtime is exactly 4:20. Coincidence? I think not.

You’d think that we’d be tired of seeing soccer stud David Beckham in his skivvies by now, but just the opposite is true. Each scantily clad image of Becks seems to be better than the last. The latest photo to feast your eyes on comes from a shoot for H&M’s Beckham bodywear collection. READ FULL STORY

Who would you like to see light the Olympic torch today? -- POLL

It’s hard to predict who the “chosen one” will be to light the Olympic torch today, but the Internet is abuzz with contenders.

Sir Roger Bannister is currently the favorite for the task. Bannister, 83, became the first man to break the four-minute mile in 1954. Former English decathlete Daley Thompson is also in the mix.

In the past, torch lighters have included members of royalty, global icons, and young, up-and-commers as well; Prince William (and potentially wife Kate Middleton) or 22-year-old basketball player Amber Charles, who played a key role in London’s bid to host the 2012 Olympics, could also light the flame.

We’ll throw in soccer stud David Beckham and Sean Connery as possibilities, too. (The Scottish Connery is technically English, and he was James Bond.)

“It gives life to the Games. It’s the fire which supposedly came from the Greek gods of the past. There have been a lot of famous, and not so famous people who have lit the flame,” BBC commentator Barry Davies told the International Business Times.

Whoever is chosen for the honor by the British Olympic Association, he/she will join the ranks of greats like Muhammad Ali and Wayne Gretzkey.
