It’s Prom Night on Planet Mirrorballus! Above, Len Goodman stands in for me in my ultimate prom fantasy of having to fend off invitations to the big dance from all of Our Pros. I’m loving DWTS‘ official Instagram feed, by the way. Nerd! No shame, though. Look at this prom pic of a very hairy Tom Bergeron! ANYWAY, tonight the 11 remaining couples will be all dressed up for the biggest and best night of a person’s life, if that person is in high school or never learned to manage expectations. Dorothy Hamill just announced she has to leave season 16 of Dancing With the Stars. “It would be completely unfair for me to stay in this and have any of these people go home,” she said at the end of tonight’s results show, citing possibly irreparable nerve damage and an order to quit from her spine surgeon. The Olympic gold medal-winning figure skater and cancer survivor could barely rehearse the jive with partner Tristan MacManus this week due to pain from a cyst on her back, plus a sore ankle. “I wish I could give it my all, but I can’t.”
