Drew Barrymore and husband art consultant Will Kopelman welcomed their first child, People reports.

”We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family,” the couple told People in a statement. ”Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives.”

The couple wed in June. Barrymore most recently starred alongside John Krasinski in Ken Kwapis’ romantic drama Big Miracle.

Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t dodge tough questions during his big 60 Minutes interview last night — not even when Lesley Stahl asked him about his father’s stint as a Nazi stormtrooper. (The Governator said that growing up, talk of World War II was basically verboten — he didn’t learn about his father’s past until “much later.”)

After showing the newswoman around his childhood home in Austria, chatting briefly about using steroids during his bodybuilding days, and claiming that movie studios originally thought he couldn’t be a sex symbol like, say, that hottie Woody Allen (wait, whaa?) Arnold finally got to the topic most people are most curious about — his relationship with Maria Shriver.

After eight years with Shriver, Schwarzenegger strayed from his longtime girlfriend by having an affair with co-star Brigitte Nielsen while filming Red Sonja in the mid-’80s. (Younger folks will know Nielsen as the one who showmanced her “Foofy” Flavor Flav.) Schwarzenegger was fairly unapologetic while discussing the affair, both on 60 Minutes and, apparently, in his new memoir Total Recall. “You cheated on Maria,” Stahl pointed out, “and you don’t even write that you felt bad about it. You just write it.”

Rihanna tweets prayers, 'best wishes' to Chris Brown before his court date

Rihanna continues to evolve into hip-hop’s version of Tammy Wynette. Before yesterday’s court date to determine whether Chris Brown violated the terms of his probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, the songstress tweeted “Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!! #1Love.”

For fear that her “baby” didn’t get the first message, she tweeted directly at his handle again four hours later. “I’m praying for you and wishing u the best today!”

Taylor Swift's latest breakup anthem is totally about Jake Gyllenhaal, maybe

Three weeks ago, amateur Swiftologist Darren Franich casually brushed off the idea that Taylor’s latest single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” could possibly be aimed at Jake Gyllenhaal. “The song notably does not mention coffee,” wrote Franich, characteristically succinct . “No way it’s about Gyllenhaal.”

Not so fast, Darren! New evidence indicates that Swift’s single may target Donnie Darko after all — despite the tune’s lack of latte mentions. An unnamed and totally valid source tells US Weekly that the song is definitely about Jake: “It’s definitely about Jake,” he or she says. There you go: incontrovertible proof.

Kennedy Jr.’s son — and is now considering buying a house near the Kennedy compound. Well, it’s certainly cheaper than flying the 18-year-old Conor out to her anytime she misses him. And as the “highest-paid celeb under 30” with a record-breaking single and highly-anticipated album, she certainly can afford it.

Earlier today, EW revealed that the Man of Steel and a certain Amazon princess are the Justice League’s new power couple. Though Lois Lane isn’t romantically involved with Superman in DC’s “New 52″ continuity, the news has still left Metropolis’s most famous reporter feeling curiously sad. Want proof? After distracting Lane with a fresh pint of ice cream — thanks for the idea, Jon Stewart — we managed to swipe a page from her very secret diary. The following entry has been reprinted without her permission. We think Lois would understand, though; sometimes, a writer’s gotta do what she’s gotta do.

Dear diary,

As a rule, I don’t wallow. After all, I’m Lois Freakin’ Lane — Pulitzer Prize winner, Daily Planet Executive Vice President of New Media, possessor of perfect hair. I can cover superheroes fighting alien monsters in my sleep. I eat annoying interns for dinner. I am, generally, so awesome that I couldn’t find anything to wallow about even if I wanted to. But something happened today that’s given me a serious case of melancholy — even though there’s no reason it should.

While preparing myself for another late night at the office, I looked out my window and saw a strange sight: Superman, Metropolis’s golden boy, engaging in a mid-flight makeout session with some chick in a star-spangled bathing suit.

What a difference a year makes. 365 days ago, Kimberly Noel Kardashian and Kris Humphries vowed to like, love and cherish each other forever in front of 440 adoring guests — and a whole lot of video cameras. A few months later, K Squared renewed their vows on Ellen; days after that, the couple’s four-hour wedding special finally aired on E! over the course of two nights. But on Halloween, Kardashifans and romantics the world over were shocked – shocked — when Kim laid down a bombshell: She was filing for divorce. The course of televised true love never did run smooth.

Ever since Kardashian and Humphries said their “I do”s — and especially since she said “I won’t anymore” — their marriage and its dissolution have been mercilessly picked apart by media outlets. (Including, um, this one.) As with any breakup, only a new relationship could encourage forward momentum; as soon as Kanye West revealed via rap this spring that he had fallen “in love with Kim,” memories of KHump immediately faded.

The weird thing is, though, that Kim and Kris are technically still married. Extended legal bickering means that the ex-couple most likely will not be granted a divorce or an annulment before 2013 — meaning that today is, in fact, their first wedding anniversary. After keeping mum for several months, Kim Kardashian is finally disclosing the details of her ”fairy tale” relationship with Kanye West. During the second of the two-part interview on Oprah’s Next Chapter — airing this Sunday on OWN — Kim said she’s in a ”happy, good space.”

Despite the impression of a whirlwind romance, Kim said she’s known Kanye for a ”really long time”: They met almost a decade ago and have been friends for six or seven years. ”It’s very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you, that respects you, understands, has gone through the similar things,” Kim told Oprah.
