Yes, Robert Pattinson's fly is open

Robert Pattinson has been fairly tight-lipped about his relationship with Kristen Stewart throughout his Cosmopolis press tour — but this photo, taken at last night’s TimesTalk with RPattz and David Cronenberg, indicates that the Twilight star might be entering a new era of openness. The pic shows Pattinson at the event, sporting a backwards cap, a neutral expression — and a fly that’s unmistakably unzipped. That’s got to be an “OMG!” on the Blush-O-Meter. Let’s take a closer look:

Jodie Foster defends Kristen Stewart, blasts the public for 'destroying childhoods'

Things we learned from this new essay by Jodie Foster:

1. An 11-year-old Kristen Stewart once “begrudgingly danced around a sombrero” with Foster. Repeat: Kristen Stewart once danced around a sombrero with the star of Silence of the Lambs.

2. When Foster tells strangers that she’s managed to stay so well-adjusted because she’s “just boring, I guess,” she’s lying.

3. If the Academy Award winner were a young actor today, she “would quit before [she] started.”

Stewart’s Panic Room costar took to The Daily Beast this morning to defend her young pal, who’s been ripped to shreds by the press ever since her cheating scandal broke. Foster’s essay focuses on the difficulties facing celebrities in an age of constant surveillance and criticism. “In my era, through discipline and force of will, you could still manage to reach for a star-powered career and have the authenticity of a private life,” Foster writes.

Today, things have changed: “If I were a young actor or actress starting my career today in the new era of social media and its sanctioned hunting season, would I survive? Would I drown myself in drugs, sex, and parties? Would I be lost?”

Robert Pattinson on 'GMA': 'I'd like my fans to know... '

Robert Pattinson appeared on Good Morning America today to give his second post-KStew interview — and, once again, he got through the proceedings without directly speaking about the scandal. Pattinson appeared a bit more relaxed when chatting with George Stephanopoulos than he did Monday night on The Daily Show. But the heartthrob still stammered and squirmed a bit when Stephanopoulos asked about his personal life, even though She Who Must Not Be Named was never invoked directly.

Stephanopoulos began by taking a leaf out of Jon Stewart’s book, offering Pattinson some comfort food — in this case, a big box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which is Pattinson’s favorite — before getting down to the nitty gritty. “Everybody just wants to know, how are you doing?” the GMA host asked. “And what do you want your fans to know about your personal life?”

Pattinson took a fortifying sip from his mug before giving his answer: “You know, they seem pretty excited about… whatever,” he said with a grin, indicating the throngs outside the GMA studio with a tip of his head. “I’d like my fans to know that… Cinnamon Toast Crunch only has 30 calories a bowl in it, for instance,” he continued. “Pretty much everything that comes out of my mouth is irrelevant.”

Kristen Stewart chats about Coachella and 'Snow White' with Jimmy Kimmel -- VIDEO

Joan Q. Public is probably convinced that being Kristen Stewart is a pretty good deal. After all, the girl is a 22-year-old millionaire whose entire job seems to be staring into Robert Pattinson’s eyes… except when she’s tasked with staring into Chris Hemsworth’s eyes instead.

But as Stewart revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, her life isn’t always easy. From rogue nails on the set of Breaking Dawn, to crazy fans, to the bloodthirsty Molly Ringwald, Stewart faces plenty of threats. Heck, the stress of being KStew is so bad that the actress even forgot to wash her hair before last night’s Met Ball. Mortifying! READ FULL STORY

'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part I': A hater's guide

twilight-eclipse-hater

The last couple of weeks have been worrying ones for someone who has been tasked with writing a “Hater’s Guide” to each Twilight movie but who remains open to the possibility that one day the vampire franchise might actually produce a decent film. After all, if an infinite number of monkeys given an infinite amount of time can write the works of Shakespeare, then it would surely take just one chimpanzee a few weeks to write a film better than, say, 2008’s thunderingly dull series opener Twilight or 2009’s  The Twilight Saga: New Moon which, to the best of my recollection, consists entirely of Kristen Stewart’s heroine Bella looking out the window and watching the seasons change. In real time. READ FULL STORY

Kristen Stewart talks about punching Chris Hemsworth in the face -- Watch!

During a visit to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday night, Kristen Stewart shared what it was like being cemented at Grauman’s Chinese Theater (“It was definitely one of those moments”), how her clumsiness caused her to unintentionally (or was it?!) punch her Snow White and the Huntsman co-star Chris Hemsworth right in his handsome mug, and of course, Twilight.

When asked about the upcoming m-m-m-m (that’s Kristen Stewart talk for “a movie,” PopWatchers) Snow White and the Huntsman, Stewart regaled about how she inadvertently slugged Hemsworth during a scene (which she revealed will be kept in the movie) so hard that it made an audible pop. Stewart, cocking her fists, told the Leno audience, “Girls, if you’ve ever wondered if it works, it works!… I basically knocked him right out of his close-up.” Watch the interview below: READ FULL STORY

Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene hit the 'Breaking Dawn' red carpet (Photos!)

Hotly anticipated and excessively punctuated, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn; Part 1 doesn’t hit theaters in the U.S. until Nov. 18, but the film had its premiere in Paris last night.
