The Voice’s Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, and Usher took a break from their coaching duties to treat a room of about 150 guests at Los Angeles’ Sayers club to a private concert, and EW was lucky enough to score a seat at the intimate soiree. READ FULL STORY

The live rounds begin tonight! After two exciting knockout rounds last week, the top 20 singers are settled and the coaches have their five final picks. Have you found yourself aligning with any particular teams this early in the game? Do you fancy Blake’s army of country and soul singers? Or Christina’s band of divas and diva-men? This time around, instead of the coaches deciding our fair singers’ fates, it’s you, America. Read on for a crash course on the teams and vote for your favorites.
Here’s a refresher on the Season 5 teams:

As the cool kids (and the contestants on MTV’s The Challenge) say, the O.G.s are back! Tonight kicks off season 5 of the Emmy-winning reality series The Voice. And as longtime fans of the show know, things will be a little more familiar this season thanks to the return of all four original judges: Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green.
After CeeLo and Christina took last season off (and were replaced by one-namers Usher and Shakira), they’re ready to return to their red spinning chairs. So to get you all in the mood for tonight’s shenanigans, here’s our rundown of what we want to see from this “original” season:
CeeLo’s animal of choice: First, it was Purrfect the cat, and then it was Lady the bird. So what furry friend will be joining Team CeeLo this season? My fingers are crossed for a baby tiger with a monkey literally on its back! READ FULL STORY
Last week, 16-year-old aspiring pop-country singer Danielle Bradbery won The Voice. Shortly after, she received a new guitar from her finale duet partner Hunter Hayes on Today (“I need to learn how to play the guitar more,” she told EW, “and then I’ll carry it around”), and it became one of her answers to our EW Pop Culture Personality Test. In today’s musical birthdays …
Beatles icon Paul McCartney turned 71 on Tuesday, but his age didn’t stop him from performing at Bonnaroo over the weekend and being voted “Pop’s Coolest Dad.” His life has been dedicated to music, activism and staying relevant in a changing world. Well, considering he spent the last year of his life performing at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, closing out the London Olympics (for the low price of $1.57) and performing at a relief concert for Hurricane Sandy victims, we’d say he’s doing a pretty good job.
Blake Shelton, meanwhile, might be getting a special birthday present this year: a victory on The Voice! Two of the remaining three acts on the singing competition are from Team Blake, and adding another Voice win (he’s already won twice) would definitely make his 37th birthday a special day. But just in case, the country star still has plenty to celebrate. This year alone, he took home some hardware at the CMA Awards, one ACM Awards and CMT Music Awards.
Danielle Bradbery from Cypress, Texas, has performed nine times, competitively, on this season of The Voice. Earlier this year, her mentor, Blake Shelton, said she isn’t just important to the country music industry, she’s important to the world. Danielle will probably win (at least one Vegas gambler puts her odds at 3-1, ahead of fellow finalists Michelle Chamuel and The Swon Brothers). Danielle is also 16 years old.

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's emotional performance of 'Over You' pays tribute to tornado victims -- VIDEO
All the performances on last night’s Voice results show were dedicated to the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes, but no performance struck a chord with the audience quite like the first one of the night — Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s stripped-down acoustic version of Lambert’s hit “Over You.”
Many Voice fans know the song after Cassadee Pope’s breakthrough performance last season, but it was originally written by Shelton and Lambert in memory of his deceased brother. Last night, it reached a much larger number of people in the couple’s home state. Watch the moving performance below. READ FULL STORY

Come back tonight to share your pick for best sound bite!
We know you all have heard ”Ho Hey” by The Lumineers a million times, but trust us this will make you chuckle.
Last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Blake Shelton, Nick Offerman, and Fallon all dressed up as chickens (The Chickeneers) and clucked their way through the song.
We can’t help but think Ron Swanson would not approve of dressing as a thing he loves to eat, but we’ll let it pass.
The song ended with the message ”Happy Easter from Late Night!” Watch the whole thing here:
