The summer music festival season is over, but there’s still at least one can’t-miss festival on the horizon. This weekend marks the third annual Los Angeles Podcast Festival, which features live recordings of dozens of comedy podcasts, as well as panels, stand-up shows, and parties. The lineup of all-star microphone fiends features Marc Maron (WTF With Marc Maron), Aisha Tyler (Girl on Guy), Dana Gould (The Dana Gould Hour), Jimmy Pardo (Never Not Funny), Todd Glass (The Todd Glass Show), April Richardson (Go Bayside!), Larry Miller (This Week With Larry Miller), Janet Varney (The JV Club), and an eclectic bunch of others. Announced guests on various shows include Whitney Cummings, Horatio Sanz, and Hal Sparks, with plenty of others coming. READ FULL STORY

Caveat: There’s no guarantee that Comedy Central will program another topical nightly talk show in The Colbert Report‘s place when Stephen Colbert leaves to take over CBS’s Late Show in 2015.

So, with that in mind, here are eight options for Colbert replacements — both realistic and more pie-in-the-sky.
Everybody has something to say about Kanye West. And Aisha Tyler has something very specific to say.
Tyler, who currently co-hosts The Talk on CBS and voices Lana Kane on Archer, dropped by The Late Late Show Wednesday night to chat with Craig Ferguson about a number of topics, including that rarely covered reality TV clan, the Kardashians. The family now includes Kanye West, who Tyler used to count as a talented pal before he abandoned all that in favor of being “the straight, black Liberace.” READ FULL STORY
