As a mom, I think Vanessa Hudgens is a beautiful girl...maybe a role in Twilight as the bad-a$% Leah will prove the audience wrong on images of her. The role could prove that she is a good actress. We only see her as the sweet Gabriella, but a real actress can act as anything. This could be a breakthrough role for her. I don't know if they'd come to the conclusion on whether or not to cast her, but she does have some great "Indian" features.

No Way!!! Leah is a very complicated character, so it's going to take someone who really gets it. I don't know if she does or not, but I'm not sure she's up for the part. Plus, I liked that twilight had actors/actresses who weren't that well known. There would be more people upset rather than happy putting her in new moon. No to Hudgens as Leah. No to any association with Disney with regards to any future Twilight saga movies. Twilight needs no help from Disney, personally I think it would be a big negative. Keep to the integrity of the original casting, with approval by Stephenie Meyer. Twilight and Disney=oil and water. They just won't blend.
