'Celebrity Apprentice 2': Who will be fired...and why!

Jan 8, 2009, 01:54 PM | by Whitney Pastorek

Categories: Reality TV, Television

Celebapprentice_l It's a banner day, America! NBC has announced the cast for the second "sensational" (no, really) season of Celebrity Apprentice, which premieres Sunday, March 1 at 9 p.m., if you want to get the wife and kids out of the country ahead of time. Take a deep breath and get ready to lose your remaining respect for: Clint Black, Andrew Dice Clay, professional poker player Annie Duke, Tom Green, boobalicious LPGA golfer Natalie Gulbis, figure skater Scott Hamilton, noted motorcycle enthusiast Jesse James, professional suitcase holder Claudia Jordan, Khloe Kardashian, Brian McKnight, Joan Rivers and Melissa Rivers, Playboy bunny Brande Roderick, Dennis Rodman, Heisman Trophy winner and former Dallas Cowboys running back Herschel Walker, and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins.

I swear to god I just about started crying.

But look -- no one (with the possible exception of Dalton Ross) watches this show to see what enchanting business ideas this cast of overachievers will come up with as they battle it out for charity. The only reason to tune in each week is to see who gets fired, and why. To that end, and in the interest of public service, I've decided to cut out the middleman and look into my oft-hazy crystal ball to predict their departures from the 15-more-minutes-of-fame game. Some inevitable eliminations:

T-Boz: Wants to have it her way or nothing at all. Additionally, moves too fast
Tom Green: Poops on boardroom table
Scott Hamilton: Slashes Andrew Dice Clay with a skate after enduring one too many fairy jokes
Andrew Dice Clay: Severed artery
Brian McKnight: Inability to count higher than five deemed impractical in a business setting
Khloe Kardashian: Asked to leave once Trump realizes she's not Kim

As for the rest...go for it, PopWatchers. The crystal ball is all yours.

Donald Trump Sucks Wed, May 13, 2009 at 04:33 AM EST

Trump dislikes anyone talking bad about him, so he chose Joan Rivers. For God's sake, Joan even recently called Tom Hanks a Nazi (Google the words Joan Rivers, Nazi, and Tom Hanks to confirm this). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joan Rivers is basically one nasty woman. I got sucked into this show late in the season, but never again. Donald Trump, you really are a ROYAL jackass!!!

Landshark Tue, May 12, 2009 at 12:51 AM EST

Well, Trump, in Feb. I stayed at Trump "Tower" in Vegas...wasn't impressed, a total waste of money! Tonight after you fired the best fund raising apprentice ever, Annie Duke...I'm even less impressed with you. I think this show was fixed from the start. I've been a fan in the past, but I won't ever be staying at one of your hotels or watching your show in the future. I think your show, you, Joan Rivers, and your hotel in Vegas are a thing of the past...

Jay venavnte Tue, May 12, 2009 at 12:25 AM EST

My friends and I have watched this show from season 1. After this season, Never again...Joan Rivers! Really Trump!!!

Chris Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:05 PM EST

I never write comments on anything, but after watching the Apprentice finale, I will never watch again. I know it is all about entertainment, but Trump was not going to pick someone that did not run in his circles. It was evident when he reprimanded Jesse James for calling Dennis Rodman, "too dumb" but yet he allowed the name calling and didn't stop it. You don't have to like Annie Duke, she played the game better and she should have won, would I want to work for her, NO, but for the game she won and she was robbed.
Melissa Rivers was fired because Brande is a beautiful woman and she isn't. It came down to looks on that call and he justified it saying Melissa didn't bring in any money.
Last year he chose Pierce who raised the most money, this year he had to change it up so he could make the call. All around, a joke....

Jim Weaver Mon, May 11, 2009 at 08:52 PM EST

Annie got a raw deal. Joan and Melisa
should have been fired weeks ago.

Liquidspaceman Mon, May 11, 2009 at 08:51 PM EST

I just finished watching the final hour of CA. From the beginning it looked like Trump wanted JR to win. He let a lot of her "stuff" just slide on past. Trump had to of known the reason for the event planning company quitting. He just let JR and Duke argue about it. He didn't want to shame his favorite contestant. I would never put up with anything that Annie pointed out JR, and her "beloved" daughter did in the Boardroom. Those two are works, really works. I never have heard of Annie Duke before CA and I wish I could tell her I thought she should have won and carried herself quite well during all those Board Meetings. If you're reading this Annie, I want to wish you Good Luck Annie, and wish you well. You played the game great!

DW Mon, May 11, 2009 at 08:45 PM EST

I didn't know much about Joan Rivers, now I know all I need to. What a horrible excuse she is, role model? I don't think so except to the bigoted, brass, classless, loudmouthed etc. etc. I hadn't watched the last celebrity apprentice when I saw Omorosa was in it. Now Trump has trumped himself by choosing the most undeserving. I'm done with Trump and his show, he has no integrity to the idea of hiring the best, brightest most capable of performers.

Jormer Mon, May 11, 2009 at 08:44 PM EST

I have read most of the comments on this site, and I agree that Joan should not have been the celebrity apprentice. I was disgusted with her behavior, her rude and malicious comments about Annie, the way she blew up in the board room, and the indifference to letting Annie finish talking. Mr. Trump saw the exact same footage we all did; so I see no reason he could not believe Annie or let her finish telling about the decorators quitting and why, or make Joan be quiet so Annie could finish talking. For Joan and Melissa to hire female impersonators for the party was not appropriate. Annie should have been the winner!!! I'm not sure I'll watch this show again.

lk Mon, May 11, 2009 at 07:51 PM EST

I will never watch this show again. Trump is the loser. Allowing Joan Rivers' bigoted, hateful, maligning rants to go on every week was obscene. I hope he loses every viewer that ever watched the show and I hope Rivers and her pompous ass of a daughter will be boycotted in whatever they do.

deadringer Mon, May 11, 2009 at 07:23 PM EST

First time I watched this show and the last time. Joan Rivers is a joke and to pick her just shows what a bias person Trump is. The fix was in from the beginning.

Gary Mon, May 11, 2009 at 06:40 PM EST

I think Joan won because she had pictures of Donald doing something disgusting to an animal.Donald couldn’t be that corrupt to give it to such a hateful person by choice.

Gordon T. Mon, May 11, 2009 at 06:38 PM EST

If it's true that the Donald's sister-in-law sits on the board of directors of Joan's charity and is the vice chairman, it shows a tremendous bias on the part of Donald Trump and seems to prove that the fix may have been in for Joan to win from the start. How is this different from the game show scandals of the 1950s when winners were picked in advance? Which, by the way, is unethical and against the law.

Isabella Mon, May 11, 2009 at 06:38 PM EST

I have been watching this show fairly regularly, and frankly I was at a point where I hoped that Mr Trump would throw Joan Rivers OFF the show! Annie Duke was the CLEAR WINNER on this show. Joan acted like a spoiled brat, most of the time, and said the most HORRIBLE things about Annie. As far as I am concerned, there is NOTHING classy about Joan Rivers.I think that Mr Trump felt that he HAD to choose Joan, because they travel in the same circles, not because she actually WAS the real winner !!!!!!!!!!!

Cappie Mon, May 11, 2009 at 06:10 PM EST

Trump made many comments that he and Rivers run in the same circles and have the same friends. With his kids sitting next to him he chose the family friend. I had never heard of Annie before, but I became a believer. I wouldn't choose her as a new best friend but she had no competition as an apprentice. Fire Donald Trump. If I want all the excitement of watching someone pick their friend to win a competition, I will watch paint dry. I will never waste my time on that show again, unless Annie replaces Trump.

Patsy Mon, May 11, 2009 at 05:57 PM EST

This show was so Fake!! Annie won hands down!!! Joan and her daughter are an embarrassment to anyone watching reality shows. Makes me wonder about Mark Barnett's other shows. There is no way this show was on the up and up. It's not likely I will watch this show next season. Joan Rivers is arrogant and a bully. I would not want her to represent anything or anyone in my business world. Come on Donald we know this show was not run with integrity or truth. It was all a big production and you planned on Joan winning before she signed her contract. What was up with bringing her daughter with her? Talk about a loser. So disappointed!!!

Sharon Mon, May 11, 2009 at 05:44 PM EST

I will NEVER watched this show again and at my work everyone was saying the same thing. People in TV land must think we are all stupid to watch crapp like that. But we are not.

Pat McFarlane Mon, May 11, 2009 at 05:28 PM EST

I can't believe what I heard and saw last night. The righteous ramblings from a woman who professes to be honest, and trustworthy then goes on national TV and uses the F word, the Nazi rhetoric, and to say that Annie's profession is holding hands with the mafia, that Brandy is a whore. I couldn't believe it. Don't ever mention anti-semitism to me, these two are a disgrace to Jews and women. Donald are you nuts? Will never watch again.

Judy Mon, May 11, 2009 at 04:30 PM EST

And, it is going to go on ANOTHER YEAR??? I'll never watch!
Give me a break. The fix was on and Donald is a jerk. Joan a role model?
I hope the kids didn't hear her remarks. The only thing she had going for her was being an OLD woman.
ANNIE, you go girl. I know you know you were being BLUFFED!

RWC Mon, May 11, 2009 at 04:27 PM EST

Hurrah for Joan!!!!! Sorry Annie your #$%#job comment while cooking in the kitchen turned me against you. I hope your kids werent watching.

KR Mon, May 11, 2009 at 04:04 PM EST

The best thing that could happen to Trump is for every poker player and poker tournament to boycott any of his casinos (adding further to their demise). Trump is inconsistent, self-serving, and hypocritical - can't imagine why he picked Rivers, who is perhaps the most disgusting person on television.

KR Mon, May 11, 2009 at 04:02 PM EST

Lisa Mon, May 11, 2009 at 03:16 PM EST

How the heck could Trump say that Joan Rivers is a role model? At least not from the way she acted on the show. She called Annie every name in the book, threw fits, threw drinks on the ground, yelled at everyone, and wouldn't let anyone get a word in. I don't think it's fair that because she won 3 of the 5 tasks, that's a reason to win. When Annie clearly won the BIGGEST task by far, raising the most money, and the tasks Joan won was bringing in more recognizable celebrities. Who??? The impersonators?? I think it was wrong, Annie played the best game, she was the most professional and she did better throughout the whole season. I think it was fixed as well.

Trumpisanass Mon, May 11, 2009 at 03:15 PM EST

No wonder Donald Trump's name is now a joke in New York. What an idiotic decision. I used to like Joan Rivers, but she is disgusting. Her daughter is a victim of her mother's obvious insanity. Congratulations to "David" for having the sense to quit working with Joan.

Ellen Mon, May 11, 2009 at 02:51 PM EST

I knew when the season started that Joan Rivers would be the chosen Celebrity Apprentice, just like Piers was last seasons winner. Donald Trump apparently does not know what fairness is because I think he had decided in the beginning that Joan would be the winner. It is clear that Annie Duke was the real winner. Joan and Melissa acted like two spoiled brats.

John Morin Mon, May 11, 2009 at 01:59 PM EST

Sucked in never again, hair guy said half way through show he would not fire horse faces mother.
She and daughter are the real white trash.

gator Mon, May 11, 2009 at 01:31 PM EST

Larry, which lifted face were you talking about? Last night's show was pathetic and a fix from the beginning. I will make it a point not to watch it again especially if it remains on nbc.

Erick Mon, May 11, 2009 at 01:11 PM EST

Donald's sister-in-law sits on the board of directors of Joan's charity. In fact, she's the vice chairman. It's clear who the winner was going to be from the start.
http://www.godslovewedeliver.org/about_directors.html

CherryHill Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:58 PM EST

With regards to "watch out Melissa, you're turning out just like her." from catlady - I say With out Joan Rivers there is no Melissa Rivers.

lizzy Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:05 PM EST

Agree- I will never watch again- Joan Rivers and her daughter are disgusting human beings. I don't even feel bad about saying that! Annie, you were the best from day one. Donald wanted Joan to win from the beginning. And I think he liked her charity a lot better than Annie's. Keep the money in America is his logic. Who cares about anyone else.

Chocolate Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:01 PM EST

Donald trump I think you really made a big mistake firing Annie she was the best on the show.Joan Rivers was a joke she wasn't able to raise money what type of celebrity is she.She is a big mouth women with no morals and respect if I was Annie I would have spit in her face. I will never watch this circus show again.Trump you just lost respect from one of your viewers.Annie you rock keep on playing your poker.Keep making that big money.

Ruthie Renaud Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:58 AM EST

This was a final that should have been settled in a cage! These two obviously hated each other and, what's more, when Joan quit, she shouldn't have been allowed back in the building. This is the procedure at every company I've worked at in my career. Hopefully, Celebrity Apprentice-Season Three will the last.

James Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:54 AM EST

It was clear from almost the beginning that the fix was in for Joan. Again and again, her outrageous behavior was consistantly overlooked by the Donald, while he practically gushed over her in the board room. It was clear that there was bad blood between Joan and Anne, but it was equally clear who's side the Donald was on. I think it's pretty evident that Donald and Joan have a strong releationship outside of this television show, and that the Donald is reluctant to cause Joan any offense which might compromise that relationship. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not implying anything unseemly between Donald and Joan, inasmich as I suspect that their relationship is probably business based, perhaps, for example, through his casinos.)

terry Biddell Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:50 AM EST

Worst finale in history......Annie Duke was the clear winner. Will make a point to NOT watch again. I don't think I'll buy Kodak produucts either.

Larry Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:40 AM EST

Annie won more tasks throughout the season and won in the previous task against Joan. I find it really pathetic that someone with as much of a recognizable face as Joan Rivers that she could only get $150,000 in donations on the last task.

Larry Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:35 AM EST

I have always been a fan of Jesse and was hoping he would have done better in this show but I realize that rightfully he did not do anything worth being in the final two. While I am a fan I still realize the truth. I do not see how anyone can defend Joan Rivers rightfully here. The only real thing that anyone can argue is that in the end she had won 3 out of the 5 categories. I expected this after she had already been in communications with her planner before the one on the show had quit. Whether she likes it or not, her actions were partly to blame as to why the event planner quit. On top of that when she got off the phone with the planner she knew he quit. Annie had to go there to find out what was going on after a lot of time had pasted of them not returning calls. Ultimately this put both charities at risk.

I think it is also really awesome that so many call Anne a nobody and yet she was able to rally in way more money than the well recognizable celebrities.

Rather be fishin Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:24 AM EST

As soon as Trump described the "additional criteria" for determining a winner, I knew the fix was in for Rivers. And his defense of her in the final boardroom was transparent. He manipulates who is eliminated weekly to add controversy, and thus, viewers. Then he selects the final winner based on audience popularity. It's all about ratings - nothing else. Annie Duke is 10 times the business woman Joan Rivers is. Rivers is a bitter old lady... And don't even get me started on Melissa. What a piece of spoiled trash that is! I've watched the last episode of this show I'll ever see.

Faith Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:23 AM EST

Annie Duke I hope you read this. You are not only the smartest, you're also the classiest. You were the clear winner, hands down. Like you said, JR's and MR's words about you were "actionable". You might want to think about a lawsuit regarding slander. Who knows how they have impugned and damaged your reputation. I wouldn't let them get away with it. Somebody has to stop them. The donald certainly didn't not to mention donald didn't call JR on her treatment of the event planner either. My husband and I are so disgusted we won't be watching the show anymore. However, we can't wait to see you in Poker Tournaments Annie! Love ya!

Larry Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:20 AM EST

I can understand people wanting to back Joan if they are a fan. But the truth is Joan is the person she hates the most according to her own words. Talking about mafia money, the poker they play is heads on and brings in huge amounts of money to the local businesses and casinos. And over the years Joan has received a lot of mafia money. I bet mostly everyone on here defending Joan has at least bought a lottery ticket.

There was an old lesson here that I believe was clear, that it is not always what you know but who you know.

Larry Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:14 AM EST

All I keep hearing is how Annie was a back stabber and have a huge ego. All people talk behind other people's back. Most people will have several positive and negative opinions about someone before they decide to be closer and become friends with them. However, most people do not like confrontation and therefore will not mention something negative to one's face. Most people who might only know one negative thing about someone will usually wait to learn more before thinking that is a bad person.

However, when someone does go on a tangent like Joan and Melissa did on the show in front of millions of viewers shows their real character.

The biggest problem with Annie was her ego. And no matter how bad it came across it helped bring in money at record levels. If I had her working with me I know the job will get done above and beyond. She does not need to stoop to Joan's level.

Cat lady Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:13 AM EST

Talk about disgusting. Psycho Joan and her weirdo daughter need long term therapy. I knew Donald didn't have the balls to fire the psycho weeks ago when she should have been fired for sending the golf girl to pick the jewelry. If Donald practised what he preached he would have had to fire the PM over that. What a set-up. Joan Rivers has made her living at bad-mouthing. She is truly ugly from the inside out. Watch out Melissa, you're turning out just like her. How ugly. No amount of facelifts can make these 2 beautiful.

Florence Mon, May 11, 2009 at 10:21 AM EST

You have to be kidding. Annie Duke was the winner. What is wrong with Donald Trump. Joan had walked off the show. Called Annie some awful names, like Nazi, trash...It was a very sad ending. She called Annie a lier..Donald needs to watch the rerun and maybe he would say OOPs I really messed up. What a bad choice. Afraid to hurt Joan's feelings. Annie was the real winner..

Ted Maniatis Mon, May 11, 2009 at 09:17 AM EST

Trump did not have the balls to fire Joan Rivers. Annie Duke was the clear cut winner. Joan was too personal in the boardroom, didn't do much after week 3, threatened to leave if Melissa got fired, etc. Trump just gave the people of New York what they wanted. Joan is more popular and won based on that. Annie is clearly a smart business woman and the true winner!!! Another Trump scam.

Me again Mon, May 11, 2009 at 08:53 AM EST

Oh ...and apparently Annie got all her low life friends to post bad things about Joan and her daughter. They are probably pissed they gave all that money and she didn't win! They probably don't even like her. Don't worry Joan, high moral standards will prevail and we will see who we will hear more of in the future. I never heard of Annie Duke before this show and I doubt I'll ever hear of her again. You go JOAN!!!

Marie Mon, May 11, 2009 at 08:48 AM EST

HUGE CONGRATS JOAN RIVERS!!!! You so deserved to win!!!! I was soooooooo happy when Donald said "and Annie, You're FIRED!". Oh Joan you left Annie speechless!!! It was the most awesome ending. I am so happy for you and I love you and your daughter Melissa and I'm not Jewish! I just LOVE you girls!!! Hope to see more of you...love your character and integrity and good moral, honest judgement. Yay for JOAN!!!!!

chris Mon, May 11, 2009 at 08:32 AM EST

Picking that old pruneface ..wrong...
trump sold out to hollywood ....and he must have pissed off all the gamblers that pay his bills .....

Pratt Mon, May 11, 2009 at 08:26 AM EST

Joan and Melissa Rivers are despicable.I was so pleased when they were both off of the show...until Joan came back. I am shocked that he chose her and may not ever watch the show again. Annie Duke outplayed her. Rivers is a low class rich person with a filthy mouth.

Essy Mon, May 11, 2009 at 07:59 AM EST

Celebrity Apprentice 2009 is a joke, to me it's all a big ACT to make the show interesting, enough is enough, please, no more celebrity apprentice, bring back real people.

Pokerhantas2win Mon, May 11, 2009 at 07:40 AM EST

Joan is one NASTY woman. I suggest anyone who plays poker (professionally or for fun) boycott this witch. She's appearing in a casino in Atlantic City this month--making a living off of the very people she dispises....what a phony!

Nancy Mon, May 11, 2009 at 07:37 AM EST

I am done watching celebrity. This show was just a joke. Joan is the ruddest person on earth. In my opinion no one who treats another like she did should be put on a pedestal. To refer to someone as being like Hitler was the worst comment you could make to another human being. Donald you made a mistake. I think you will be losing a lot of viewers.

Joan Rivers Really Really Sucks Mon, May 11, 2009 at 07:04 AM EST

JOAN SHOULD HAVE LOST! Very bad move on Trumps part and the show. I was a fan but will never watch it again.
Did Trump have to add the extra criteria so Joan was able to win? I thought it was about MONEY and who could raise it!

Alecia Mon, May 11, 2009 at 05:21 AM EST

It was a fabulous finale...For those Joan Rivers haters, do remember on the final task, there were 5 criteria the finalists were scored on & Joan won 3 out of the 5. CONGRATS JOAN!!!

JamesKimoRosen Mon, May 11, 2009 at 03:53 AM EST

Joan did not play the game as well as Annie. Joan walked off the show when her daughter was fired and constantly put down Annie duke one of the best players to ever play celebritiy Apprentice. I guess the Donald has some politics with Joan, since it was obviously annies game. Piss poor decision, Mr. Trumpet

Downtown Mon, May 11, 2009 at 03:52 AM EST

Joan Rivers is a train wreck. What is the point of placating (minor) celebrities like Rivers so they appear on the show if you are going to completely piss off the audience. I want to say I won't watch anymore on principle, but I probably won't because it is so predictable.

TBone Mon, May 11, 2009 at 02:47 AM EST

Will never watch the show again. What a complete waste of my time. Very hypocritical of the Donald.

sheila Mon, May 11, 2009 at 01:54 AM EST

Wow!People really seem to dislike Joan.I really find her amuzing and frank. Annie is very high on herself and back stabbing from what I saw on the episodes. Not to mention she actually bragged about giving good blow jobs. She's a rather ruthless individual. I'm extremely happy that Joan won the game and I think that Donald made the right chose.Joan also comes across as very caring in regards to her charity work as she's actually phyiscally involed.Anyway, way to go Joan!

Linda A. Mon, May 11, 2009 at 01:12 AM EST

That was the most unjust, ridiculous finale I have ever seen. A woman and her daughter that were slinging around horrible names and throwing tantrums, dropping the f-bomb constantly and then used the word "God" in the same sentence referring to their charity? Are you kidding me? The only good thing that came out of it is that I don't have to waste my t-vo time when the next apprentice show starts. Have a nice life Donald Trump and Joan Shivers...I mean Rivers. And your little daughter too!

roy Mon, May 11, 2009 at 01:05 AM EST

Ann is the winner. Joan was awful, insulting...how much the Jews pais to look even worse than before....disgusting.
Hitler is better that Joan Rivers

Beck Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:40 AM EST

So very disappointed. Is Donald Trump so much in his own little narcissistic world that he would not understand that the rest of us would totally see the set-up? Did he make a deal with Joan Rivers prior to her signing up for the show? I will not waste any more time in this life watching The Apprentice. What a joke!

Dagmar Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:35 AM EST

I thought people would be civil to one another. Joan Rivers is awful. Her daughter isn't any better. Was this all put on? Was this a punked show? Trump knew where all this was leading to. If Joan is a good friend to him, his enemies must be monsters.

Gloria Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:35 AM EST

Well, I'll never waste another moment watching Donald Trump. He's got to be the blindenst man around!! He knew all along who he was going choose to be the celebrity apprentice. I wonder how much she paid him for that!!!!

Pam Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:15 AM EST

This show is a joke and so is Donald Trump!!! Annie Duke blew away Joan Rivers in every way shape and form. Joan and her daughter are both liars. If this was truly a business decision then Donald Trump....YOUR FIRED!!!

kris Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:07 AM EST

Total Fix- Will never watch this show again!!!

Disappointed Sun, May 10, 2009 at 11:51 PM EST

Disenchanted...yes it is only show... But TV is an influential medium. It just goes to show how little has "really" changed. Those born with silver spoons always will control the strings & come out on top...the fix was clearly in. It is disappointing that the network would support such a decision...regardless whose show it is. "Statis Quo Rules"

Sterno Sun, May 10, 2009 at 11:46 PM EST

Wrong decision…Annie showed us how to play the game…Joan showed us that poor behavior, name calling and fawning over the “boss” curries favor with the masses. Like Joan, Donald is a B list celebrity…thus the cheesy finish to the show. Outside of NY this finish is viewed as a joke…congrats to Jessie for sticking to his beliefs…no matter how hard the show pushed him he refused to involve his wife in the circus atmosphere. Celebrity Apprentece is the big loser tonight and it is NBC that should fire Trump…let the kids run the board room…it would be more interesting.

jefferson mujokoto Sun, May 10, 2009 at 11:32 PM EST

i lost a lot of respect 4 the donald and the show. to me its like donald really kissed joan rivers' behind thru out the entire season. jesse was fired bcz he wdn't use his wife to raise money coz lets face it it was all abt who brings in the most money.
i m shocked maybe trump has lost his mind. annie u r so classy u r a winner i feel like taking u to zimbabwe with me so u can b my next president. joan rivers if u say those things u said in those board rooms on the streets somebody is going to sue u or rip ur lips off.

never watched until last 5 weeks
will never watch again after tonight
what a joke
don't recommend to anyone

Juanita Patke Sun, May 10, 2009 at 11:10 PM EST

I lost total respect for Joan Rivers after this show. With all the cameras watching the celebrities, it was a known fact that Joan and Melissa were really nasty people. I did not see Annie lie. Joan and Melissa were crude, cruel and nasty. I will never purchase a piece of Joan's jewelry and I think she did her charity an injustice by acting the way she did. Annie was a lady up until the event planner dropped her because of Joan. Donals should have confronted Joan on this issue and shown her the video.

Dante Sun, May 10, 2009 at 11:03 PM EST

As my wife put it.. Joan claims to want to win on the basis of honesty... yet how many Facelifts has she had? She should have lost just on the basis of the "Hitler" comments. I have lost what little respect I had for the show. Donald.. you screwed the pooch big time with this one.
Maybe Annie lost because hers wasn't an "American" charity...

Bill Carnes Sun, May 10, 2009 at 10:47 PM EST

What a scam! Joan Rivers has no class, she is not a role model. She said she would win with honor and the truth. She lost on both of those. You know and the world knows from watching the show that the event company did quit because of Joan. Why didn't Donald say something. Clint also knows she lied,he was standing there while she was on the phone to them. Annie kicked her ass at the event. She raised four times the money, she had a lot more celebrties. Joan had to get fake celebrities and her room looked cheesie. The whole world heard the Kodak guy say that Annie used the frames in the most professional way. Joan was rude in the broad room, lied, made a complete fool out of her self. Annie was very professional and kept her wit about her. You take Joan and I will take Annie and I will beat you very time. This show was a set up from the word go. I use to like Joan Rivers but not now after seeing the real Joan. Even your children had the best things to say about Annie. You should watch your

alymat Sun, May 10, 2009 at 10:37 PM EST

Everyone knows Annie has more business savvy than Joan Rivers. Joan Rivers wins? What crap. Stay classy, Celebrity Apprentice.

Lm Sun, May 10, 2009 at 10:19 PM EST

I won't be watching next season. I have lost the little respect I had for Trump. I can't believe that he picked Joan Rivers!!! Between her and her dorky daughter they started every single conflict throughout the season...I'd like to see Joan get a gig in Vegas after what she said about poker players.

Roni Sun, May 10, 2009 at 10:00 PM EST

well--i won't watch next season--is all crooked as can be...so long big mouth rivers

Roni Sun, May 10, 2009 at 09:56 PM EST

I think Joan should be fired because of her being the cause the designers quit. I wouldn't work with her either..her and her daughter need to go hide in a cave...And then to have the berve to LIE about it--hope she shes this

Jonathan Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 11:47 AM EST

I am upset that Joan left the show.. I dislike Ann i think she is a low life poker player. I feel bad for her kids and husband.

Meadow Brooke Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 02:56 AM EST

Yes, I'm soooo happy that these two are off the show.....well hopefully mommy will go along with crybaby daughter. And now Joan has gump to say that all poker players are trashy????? Who in the heck does she think she is???? Yep all those injections she has got really afftected her brain. Ohhhh and she said that Annie would need two doctors for her surgery???? Annie is perfect the way she is.....Hey Miss Joan those doctors sure did not help you a bit. Good riddance to the Rivers Rats!!!!!!!!

sue Thu, Apr 23, 2009 at 12:35 PM EST

I agree about Khloe i think its because of ratings and Khloe was a little too calm for the show. Dennis was a joke and an idiot and i think acted like that again for ratings- Donald allows that and not Khloe for doing somehting she regrets and trying to fix. how stupid, that relaly made him look dumb!
How come he stood by Miss America with all her issues and drugs and stuff - and shes supposed to be a role model? maybe because shses blonde???

and ANNIE>>> whats wrong with her to choose a charity for refugees???? Im sorry but all the poeple outta work in the us all the sickness and dieases they need $ to research and you pick refugees>??? poeple who flee to this country like we dont have our own problems already???? she muct be in the casino to much to see the real problems here in the us- its pathetic that celebrities can help and choose something so stupid and ignore the freakin world they live in.

Ted R. Tue, Apr 21, 2009 at 07:24 AM EST

It is obvious that Trump is trying to garner ratings by having a final pitting mother against daughter or Annie against Joan (the hatred that Joan has here for Annie is both irritating and unjustified). Donald (and the producers) will find a way to eliminate all others in this show that has become one of the biggest farces of reality television.

David Hall Mon, Apr 20, 2009 at 08:56 PM EST

You know Donald wants to match up the Rivers ....... Mother... Daughter.

He knows TV.

If Joan doesn't break down.

socrates Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 06:47 PM EST

Sorry about my misspelling of Medieval and Prejudicism. I suppose I was implying what Donald Trump 'really feels in his groin when he sees Brandy' - inadvertedly my word.

Nevertheless, Americans hold high in their mind and soul what 'proper', 'humane', behavior and acts entail. America does not entail a Society of Cut Throats, America entails 'THINKING PEOPLE'. We are thinking that Donald Trump does not care about AMERICA. I bet you he did not vote for our BELOVED PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA! Think! I hope you respond to my postings. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Socrates Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 06:30 PM EST

My comments, not in retrospect, are that I have no problem with Dennis, nor do I have with Brandy, but in this 'cut throat' environment that Donald Trump promotes, which has become non-sensical, unAmerican, and sexist, he is fostering the continued Economic Debacle, Failure, that we have all experienced in these past years. True 21st Century business men cannot look at people as being "so disposable", like "diapers" or 'laboratory animals' (although this is sacrilegious). Enough is enough. Have you noticed that in the earlier episodes he 'cut off' Ivanka's speech? Yet, he condoned Dennis' drinking, during the show, no less, one too many times. Here comes Kloe Kardashian, a woman remedying her 'past' mistakes dutifully!, and he 'fires' her. What is America coming to? Trump is a Mideval manager. America needs another type of Entrepreneur; another type of Manager; another type of CEO. America needs a Human interested in humans! Ask Madoff. Did he care about people? NO.

socrates Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 06:18 PM EST

No.1 - Donald Trump is a blatant sexist. He allowed, knowingly, Dennis Rodman's persistent drinking throughout many episodes, and when he fired him, never mentioned 'drinking' as in DUI. Kardashian was fulfilling her 'Drinking' UI, and Donald fires her! No.2, he cannot fire the "River's" but wants to and to cover his 'male prejucism' he brings 'someone else' to do his 'dirty bid'. Not only has this program has Trump destroyed any sense of humanity in the inhumane sense of business (and that is why we have this economic debacle created by people like him, who do not really care about people) but we will see the debacle of 'business' once again when he 'finds someone else, like Pierce, to fire Joan & Melissa Rivers who ARE EXCELLENT in business. Trump should be ashamed. He should reconsider his Medieval thinking or I will watch his "empire's demise" as in History. Too much of a sexist! If he chooses 'Brandy', good looking before 'proven business success'.
Thank you.

Diane Mon, Apr 13, 2009 at 10:40 AM EST

I to have lost all respect for Joan and Melissa they are constnat complainers Come on Joan cut the strings from Melissa she has your mouth she'll be just fine. When she took her bags and was waiting out side they should have locked the door. That's what I would have done to this spoiled plastic brat.

GA Sun, Apr 12, 2009 at 10:07 PM EST

The Rivers women (not ladies) are horrid, imagine being around them more than 10 minutes...horrid! Joan looks like an Ad for an unlicenced Plastic Surgeon who pulled too tight. Both of them are rude, obnoxious & act like 3 year olds calling names.
Joan saying most golfers aren't straight was totally unacceptable & went unchallenged by the group. Imagine the stereotypes we could use about her!
Let's pray they're both gone soon.

What a rotten excuse to fire Khloe, I totally disagree with the decision and how he went about it. Her DUI had NOTHING to do with how she performed on the show and I lost respect for Trump making such a short sighted choice. Clint Black you're the one who should have been FIRED!

joy2befan Sun, Mar 29, 2009 at 07:28 PM EST

Guys should get Dennis Rodman to be Project Manager on 3/29. This should get him fired. Who else, besides Joan Rivers could miss a day two weeks in a row and not be fired??

I can't believe no one is outraged that dennis's rage, anger, drinking,& his rude & uncalled 4 bullying Clint Black hasn't brought ONE comment on here that I can find. As for donald, how can I respect U now that you'd allow that to go by w/out kicking dennis off the show or demand that he apologize. HE is the arrogant,'has -been',.Clint acted like a real man when he asked, 'what good was his actions going to do', then walked away before dennis threw more of a hissy fit. I didn't see ANYone say or do 1 thing 2 stop it. SHAMEfull.I could've told you in advance claudia wouldn't have taken a human stance against it. She is way out of her leaque. She put's down Mel while HER talent is carrying a SUITCASE! As 4 Mel, she's had to work twice as hard as others to get where she is.She knows her stuff. As Joan's daughter she had 2 prove it.I put dennis's eye problem up there w/amarossa's head injury!Vodka hurts when it squirts in U'r eye.Now name it the brian show.

cheryl walker Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 08:03 PM EST

I like how donald Trump uses the program to pomote his product which stinks it is the worst phone in the history of time. Melissa needs to be gone

meg Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 03:14 PM EST

Claudia absolutely should have been fired and I say good riddance. I truly believe that her career will be in jeopardy due to her antics from Sunday's apprentice. What kills me is her immaturity and inability of acceptance of others' successes (i.e.- Melissa Rivers). It was amazing to me how Claudia reacted in the boardroom. I have never seen a grown woman act so much like a child. Amazing!

glenda Sun, Mar 22, 2009 at 10:37 PM EST

no one have a chance with the river twins being on the show

ann Sun, Mar 22, 2009 at 10:25 PM EST

would like to watch Mar 22 show as a rerun do you know when I could watch it
Sometimes it's run during the week

Mary Grant Sun, Mar 22, 2009 at 10:14 PM EST

I just watrched the show and I believe that Joan Rivers daughter should have been gone. She is very arrogant and it seems like if she really wanted to donate to a charity because her quote "she has done many red carpet events successfully" then donate from her pockets. Claudia does not have the money but she wanted to do something special for her charity. You have all these celebs coming on the show attempting to win money for their charity but they can come out of their pockets and give. I am so upset with the way things are going and Donald Trump should just donate the money that he is having them try to get to a different charity every year. This is just money wasted on TV and not putting it where is should be. I know he spends more money promoting this show than what is given to the actual charity. Just donate, stop the silly shows and give to charities that need it. It is just people with money trying to make themselves feel good for people that do not have.

Maryanne Sheehy Sun, Mar 22, 2009 at 08:58 PM EST

I truly have enjoyed "The Apprentice" since its beginning. Thank you for great entertainment.

Tonight when Claudia Jordan blurted such a general statement about only children being spoiled I was incredulous. Is she so self righteous that she believes she can insult an entire group of people with one poison stroke of her venomous tongue? What other group of people will be targeted next? Please Claudia, do some research on only children, you have a lot to learn about this group. More importantly, please as a public figure, mind your general statements about an entire group of people.
