i actually dislike jake quite alot till Breaking Dawn, as he's totally annoying ... lol... i was on NO TEAM in twilight ... but after New Moon, with the absence of edward, it really brought me closer as bella, falling for edward..haha...
i want the scenes, fr new moon book to film such as :
* the birthday part at cullen's, that's part of the main reason they are leaving bella ... the scene where edward told her it's over..and she goes off into the woods ... after him..sam finding her..etc
*the voices fr edward, the scene of bella jumping off ...
*alice coming back to check on bella, showing how happy she is when she saw her, as she's so happy for finally a connection with the cullen..to edward..
*italy scenes...all of it!!! THAT*S so very important ...i want the whole thing in the film!

yeah well sorry this whole twilight thing has gone over to emo people, it went from books that aren't even written that well to a movie with like no action or good effects to just some vampire love story now everyone is crazy about.

I used to like it honestly back wen i was in 6th grade and the books had come out, but now its just too much.

So yeah lets hope they can make the 2nd one better tho if their vampire styles sucked then the werewolfs wont b dat great either so well c.

I read all 4 books and this was one hell of a treat.... what a God gifted talent to be embrace... Bless the writer,producers,actors and all the people that give as such great story's.. I personally think that new moon will make much more money at the box office that twilight itself.. But belive and watch these words... they will be stupid not to take all 4 books to the big screem a specially breakingdawn.... But after that i think that must be it.... OMGosh! Can't wait for the New Moon to come out this November! Stephenie Meyer's Twilight book series is the best love story there is in the 21st century or ever! Bella and Edward's love story has captured my heart and imagination. I'm so dying for it. I'm getting crazy and my husband has noticed. I wish that Kristen Stewart would portray the scene where Bella was so devastated by Edward’s departure with more feeling – put 110% to it (note pages 67-73 of New Moon book). For the record, I was devastated too - it made me cry. Gosh! Help me! Tears were falling down my cheeks when I read the part where Edward says, "I promise that this will be the last time you'll see me. I won't come back. I won't put you through anything like this again. You can go on with your life without any more interference for me. IT WILL BE AS IF I'D NEVER EXISTED". Oh, I was melting when I read that. Just like Titanic when Jack said to Rose that she will move on - that she'll have more babies. Sigh!

I would really like the new moon movie to be longer, there is so much in the book and details are ikportant to a plot. 2 hours with the twilight saga is not enough for me. I have read all the books time and again and have watched twilight at least once a day since it came out on dvd.

I'm a twilight mom and a movie nerd I guess you could say. I loved the movie and now have read the books which are even more amazing. I really hope they make New Moon a much longer movie, Twilight was far to short. There are so many important details that people who haven't read the books should know. I am totatly a Team Edward mom. I too am looking so foward to seeing the B.D. scene and I hope they do a great job with portraying the devistation and emptiness that Bella felt when Edward left her and how she would put herself in danger just so she could here his voice. I also can't wait to see when Bella stops Edward from killing himself in Italy it has to be done to perfection.(No PRESSURE) Even all of us Team Edward fans can't help but fall in love with Jacob too, though your praying for Edward to come back and save Bella from her greif a small part of you wants Jacob to win over Bella's heart. PS

I love to see the whole book on movie. Lord of the Rings was a long movie why not make the twilight new moon movie just as long. I also think that the italy part is extremly important especially the part where bella is running across the square to save edward. The part underground would also be a good part to put in because it gives the people that read the books a whole new out look on what vampires can really be.I think it would be great to have the whole movie. ;*-)

Edward made the first film and I enjoyed watching him mainly. But in the second film, Jacob is gonna be awesome. Like, really really awesome! So if they can convey the story properly, you won't feel the lack of Edward in the middle of the film, til he comes back towards the end of the film. And will probably outshine everyone again. ;)

Well since I am a new Twilight book fan I already seen the movie before I read the books... I am looking forward to seeing New Moon at the theaters to see if they are going to put my favorite part of the book in the movie I hope this is some of them I do not care if it is 3 hours long or not if you are a fan you will to here are my lists of favs I hope to see on the big screen: 1. the birthday scene 2.the woods seen where Edward leaves Bella 3.Her struggling trying to here him 4. The cliff scene 5.Alice's return 6.Alice's vision 7. I agree to the comment about the movie being longer, bacause in twilight, there was so much that was absent in the movie as a pose to the book. people who had not read the book before, would have probably enjoyed the movie more, due to the simple fact that they didn't know what was left out of the movie that was in the book. im really going to hate to see Edward absent from this movie, but i think that the movie should stick to the book even if it does make it longer, because it would make it more interesting for the people who have read these wonderful books.

One more thing with jacob and his height. Well on the Greenmile for instance the character Michael Clark Duncan is not really that tall either but the movie portrayed him as at least 7 foot. They can do amazing things with cameras

Ok well this is a drama about romance and vampiers and werewolves, most of the public is already in love with the book. Titanice was 3 hours and so was green mile and braveheart. i think this could be another one of those 2.5 to 3 hour movies they just need to go by the book and throw in some excitment also. either way its going to be great.

i feel they should make two versions..one for the public and one for fans... or at least the dvd when it's out, it's longer...for the fans..

despite of me being team edward, but some of your suggestions i must say, it's a no, unless the book is being told via edward's POV...lol..
anyway, i think to put edward in the film as much as possible when he's being mentioned in the book, as some of the jake /bella's parts are pretty boring, and also of bella's crying the lost...it's important to show she is deeply affected with his departure, but don't whine too much abt it... the part where edward tried to break it off with her, edward's voice in her head...of him calling to check whether bella is dead or not, but maybe not showing his face, just the voice...like in the book, and the italy part...those scenes there better be super good to make the whole film worth it! LOL... i hope they chose right ppl to play those "italian" vamps...

oh yah .. and i do not understand why they are trying to cram these books into 90 minute movies. how often now a days do we go to the movie theater and sit through a 2 .. 2 &1/2 hour movie??! why couldn't/can't twilight and new moon and the rest of the series be this way as well?! I want to see the struggle that Charlie has over being at his wits ends & not knowing how to help Bella during her depression.

They have to spend time on Bella's frame of mind during her walk thru the woods after Edward leaves her & her struggles to "hear" Edward. Those are essential scenes.

New Moon was a very hard read for me. I did not skip ahead to see if Edward returns & did not know what to expect. I read all 4 books this past weekend from Fri night til Monday. Totally engrosed in them. I feel like I'm coming off a "Twilight High" LOL!

I cant wait!!!!!! I have a few suggestions for Team Edward cause im Team Edward all the way!!!!! What they should do is do some flashbacks when Bella has to explain to Jacob about her weird scar. They DEFINALTELY need to show the phone call between Rosalie and Edward!!!! They need to show the phone call between Rosalie and Alice too. They should also show the decision the Cullens make when they decide to leave Forks. They should show who came up with it and how they compromised it. They should show when Edward tried to hunt Victoria. They should show him when he's away, like when he's in South America. They should show what he sees in his mind everytime he closes his eyes. They should show how he's dealing with the hole break up thing. They should show him decide how he's going to break it to Bella. They should show how he asks the Volturi to kill him. They should show him when he talks to Jacob. These are just a few ideas of what they should show of him for Team Edawrd fans

I think that true fans of the book series will have already thought through and come to understand that Pattinson will be largely absent from the film version of New Moon. After all, they struggled through hundreds of pages without him as they read the story. It behooves the screenwriters to ensure the characters stays off-screen for a full 30 to forty minutes of the hour and a half film, I would think, in order to stay true to Stephanie Meyer's work. However, we expect to be compensated for this with a spectacular climax in Italy when Edward reappears, and when the tension of Bella's first meeting with the Voulturi comes into play. I suspect that these final scenes will take a good one/fifth to one/fourth of the screen time (due in large part to the presence of Pattinson's character Edward), in contrast to how few chapters it took to detail in the book.

just finished listening to audio of New moon, i liked it abit better than when i first read it. I hope the movie version will be better than the twilight movie version.
THough overall, i was quite happy with twilight movie.
I think, it's important to have the edward saying goodbye scene, and the italy scene is very important, as it introduces the italian vampires, that will be in book4 (aka movie4 if they are going to make that) ... i guess the festival...and all that are described in the book, if possible to be made into the movie ...it will cost abit? ...hmm..

I think the first movie went by way too fast and too many important scenes were cut for the sake of time. I honestly wish you would make the second movie like 3 hours if you have to so that you can keep all of the important scenes and everyone can follow whats going on :) Also, I think everyone else has great suggestions I think there should be the voice of edward when she is about to do something dangerous but there should be glimpses of their past together when she thinks of him. I really hope Bella does a better job portraying the passion intended from the book, and I hope Edward makes the departure scene emotionally painful.. I want to cry dangit!!

I first saw the movie version of Twilight and really liked it. Not knowing it was based on a set of books. Once I learned of the series I was like I'm a guy and hate romances, but I gave the books a chance. As for my feeling of the movie after reading. I felt the movie was overly rushed using scenes that were not needed at all. Or that could of been shorter in order to save room for more important scenes. Moving on to New Noon there shouldn't be any cast changes. As for what scenes are needed.

Maybe open with Belle's dream then the party. Have Edward leave then quick flashes showing the months of Belle's depression. Enter Jacob Black on the night he joins Belle and Mike for the movie. Maybe a scene of Jacob phasing at some point. The scene with Lamont and Belle seeing the wolves. Then scene of Jacob getting Belle guess at the wolf thing. Then enter ALICE and all of the Italy scenes. Then ending on the meeting and the vote.

Just a suggestion..1st: i agree that maybe a semi visible Edward (when Bella is haring Edward)y'know..almost like a ghost? 2nd: to make him more apparent in the movie, possible show him what he was doing while he was away..considering he was just as miserable or maybe more than Bella.He was at least in South American or Alaska, right? maybe small scenes about that would be nice, nothing too prolonged, but enough to NOT ruin the "book to movie" problem...thats would be cool in my opinion..

If people are true twilight fans they are going to understand why Robert isn't in the movie as much. They need to get over it and just accept that the movie needs to be just like the book otherwise you are going to have some serious problems!!! Loved the first movie....some thoughts about the second....like it or not, people want to see Edward, so concentrate more on the break-up, and then Bella rescuing him, and fill in with how she bonds with Jacob. When it comes to the wolves, I was picturing a Narnia-type wolf....hugh! Jacob can grow just like the Green Mile guy was hugh, but not really in real life. Can't wait!

I was not pleased witht the way the first movie turned out. They diverted from the book way tooooo much. The books are a hit for a reason. I hope that the sequel mimics the book as much as possible. For people who didn't read the books, it was so hard to catch what was going on. If I hadn't read the books, I don't think I would have based on the movie. I felt truly disappointed at the lack of emotion in the movie as compared to the book. I envied Bella in the book and felt sorry for Bella in the movie. Kristen is a better actress than the one she showed us in the movie. Robert has the ability to show us a "more tortured soul" than he did as well. Jacob was kinda "dorky" in the movie and that is just not how they are depicted in Meyer's books! Please GET IT RIGHT wiht New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn!

I will defiantly see the movie if Rob isn't in it, I mean the second book is about Jacob and Bella. If you dont' make Edward leave bella then you'll have to change the third movie alot. Keep the movie as close to the book as possible.
If you wanna put Edward in more, here's a thought put little flash backs of the moments Edward and Bella spent together in. Or Edward's voice,
or what you could do is film what Edward is doing while he leaves her.
That would be interesting to see.
BUT MAKE THE MOVIE TO THE BOOK AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE!!!

I would want to see the birthday scene in the beggining and the cliff scene the most!!! I wouldn't change New Moon, the book, just to get more people to watch. Just go by the book!!! I can't wait till the movie comes out, I don't care if take Robert out too much I still going to watch it.

I think that they need to stick to the book, but I do think that where Bella hears Edward's voice each time she does something dangerous should be added. It will add to the suspense that people feel by reading the books. Really, that is why Bella did those things so she could hear Edward and feel close to him. Rob is wonderful as Edward, so you can't help but help love him.

They shouldn't add Edward in the middle of New Moon because that isn't a part of the book. It would ruin the whole movie. Literally.
One part they absolutely have to get right is when Edward leaves Bella in the woods. That part better make me cry and not laugh or anything like that. I wish they could of changed Edward though. Rob sometimes looks like he is about to puke or drunk or something. AND Kristen has to seriously be MORE CLUMSIER!!!!! Is that too much to ask.
