Hey, Annie, I noticed that too! There was probably some sort of backing track, but you could definitely hear breathing and throatiness. Not my favorite song ever (and definitely not my fave wardrobe choices ever) but entertaining. It is, however, pretty pathetic that we're reduced to giving Ms. Ga credit for singing live at all...

Lady GaGa was wickedly brilliant! Sure it was a little cheesy but at least she gave the audience a reason to watch. You sure can't say it wasn't entertaining. Yes, I too was blown away that she was singing live and singing pretty damn good, especially the big note she held towards the end.

i thought she was good..i love how she is different in the way she dresses and that cos she isnt tryin to be like anyone else...in my opinion she gave a solid performance but i suppose everyone has different tastes right.

I couldn't watch this the first time, and this didn't make it any better. Ironic that she was singing about dancing when she couldn't dance herself due to her extreme high heels and barely there outfit. I expect if she bent too far in any one direction we would have had a *real* "wardrobe malfunction."

Huh. Here I thought that big old thing hiding her lips (and projecting light on them?) was there to make it harder to see when she flubbed the syncing. The whole costume looked, to me, like it was designed so that someone else could put on the wig and the glasses and that mic and take her place.
