Trishelle_l The Hollywood Reporter has revealed the cast of CMT's fall reality competition series, Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling. Is it wrong that the person I'm most excited to see is The Real World: Las Vegas' Trishelle Cannatella? Followed by Frank Stallone? Other cast members vying for the title of Celebrity All-Star Wrestling Champion include Danny Bonaduce, Dennis Rodman, Dustin Diamond, Todd Bridges, super-heavyweight boxer Butterbean, former pop star Tiffany, Erin Murphy (Tabitha Stephens on Bewitched), and Playboy playmate Nikki Ziering.

Per the trade, the various challenges wil include, "mastering complex wrestling moves, talking trash and working a live audience." Who will take the title? And who would have thought that this genre of celebreality would still be going strong six years after Fox's Celebrity Boxing?

I’m not much of a celebrity watcher/chaser, so have never seen the Hogan family reality show. There’s been so much publicity, it was hard not to notice the whining Hogan family, hard to believe!

I‘ve got a son in prison. Of course, he and I both grew up a little different than the whiney, pumped up, silicone Hogan family. Although, my son is a man now (legally), he did spend time as a juvenile. One thing he never did/does is whine like a baby about why he is where he is. He is no doubt sorry he got caught, but he never sniffled about his time. Had he cried to me about that, I would have put him straight immediately. Don’t get me wrong, I’m as protective a mother as ever was/is. What I did do for my son was hire the best representation I could afford. Never, did I conjure in my mind, nor would I have allowed my son to minimize what he had done. To date, my son accepts what he deserves, without crying over it.

The sniffling Hogan family need a good does of Reality!

To NihilisticKick:
Hmmm. Maybe I do need to take another look at the recordings. If that's true, Terry's as petty as the rest of them and I'd have no reason to defend him any further. Regardless of his opinion, I bet most of the public's completely uninterested in another season of Hogan Knows Best after the fallout from this incident.
I still stand with everything else I said. It's a damn shame this could have all been avoided with a little common sense and the way the Hogan family is reacting to this is beyond offensive. I won't revel in spite though like some of you. Just focus on something else and don't support the Hogans in future endeavors.

NihilisticKick Sun, Jun 8, 2008 at 09:13 PM EST

Whomever was going around trying to cover for Terry "Hulk" Hogan and disseminating false information that he, unlike the rest of the family, did not make disparaging remarks about the hapless victim of Nick Hogan's unjustifiable car accident really needs to relisten to the jailhouse recordings. The transcript that specifically indights Terry the Toilet Film Hogam proceeds as follows:
Hulk: Well I don't know what type of person John was. Or was he did to get himself in this situation. I know he was pretty aggressive and yelled at people and do stuff. And for some reason God laid some heavy sh*t on that kid. I don't know what he was into.
Nick: He was a negative person.
Hulk: What?
Nick: He was a negative person. Will you work on that Real-Ality deal?
Hulk: Yep
Nick: Get that lined up so the minute I walk out..wherever i k out...boom.
Nick: I want to do it where I'll make the most money.

End dialogue. Still want to stick up for him t3?

So, how is Trishelle going to wrestle? The girl is positively gaunt in that picture! One choke hold and her neck is going to snap!

Don Hawkins Sun, Jun 8, 2008 at 03:44 AM EST

I can't believe the Hogan family. The Hogan family can go pound sand as far as i'm cocerned! Mother, father and son are the scum of the earth. His sister is the only one that is smart enough to keep her mouth shut! Nick CAN"T grow a set of nuts and his mother is a cu#t. The kid is only getting 8 months for the obsene crime he comitted and Momma Hogan ought to shut her mouth and divorce the Hulk and just fu%ckin go away!!! FAR AWAY! The Hogan family is DEAD to me! Shut the fu#k up Nick, quit crying and do your time even though it's never going to be as long as the man you put in a wheel chair and made a vegtable for the rest of his life!!!!!

to t3hdow Sat, Jun 7, 2008 at 06:11 PM EST

Would anyone want to hear their side of the story? Last I saw she was in Vegas grinding with an embryo on the dance floor

t3hdow Sat, Jun 7, 2008 at 04:44 PM EST

To 'to t3hdow':
Well I'm not implying that I wanted Nick's marine friend to suffer. It sucks that the accident happened and affected the rest of his life, but this could've been easily avoided with a little foresight into their reckless decisions. He didn't 'deserve it' per se. It was a bad mistake they both made and one Nick'a marine buddy is paying for, big time. What's disappointing about Nick is that he's less concerned about causing the accident and more on his own selfish needs in jail. He should be happy that he can walk at all. In the long run, his friend will still be brain dead on a bed, yet Nick will roam free. For that alone, Nick should be grateful he's not next to him. I really hope Nick learns a valuable lesson from the experience, because his friend paid dearly and won't get a second chance.
On a side note, if anyone interested in listening to Terry's side of the ordeal, CNN's interviewing Hogan on Tuesday at 8 EST.

to t3hdow Sat, Jun 7, 2008 at 01:04 PM EST

Yes, Nick's friend was pretty careless. A life sentence in a vegetative state seems pretty fair.

t3hdow Sat, Jun 7, 2008 at 11:30 AM EST

To Nihilistic:
To be fair, Nick's friend on the passenger side is also somewhat at fault. If it was someone who didn't know any better, that's one thing. However, he's a former marine that was self-aware enough to realize Nick was drunk as he cruised over 100 mph down Tampa Bay, but decided to ride with him anyway (and not wearing his seat belt was another grave mistake). He's just as careless as Nick. Don't get me wrong. I feel bad for him being stuck in a vegetated state, and for the Hogan family (minus Terry) to lambaste the victim in such deplorable terms is pretty low. Nick should be fortunate that he only received a lenient 8-month sentence with solitary confinement, as unintentional manslaughter's easily ten years for everyone else in a public jail. However, Nick's friend could have avoided his circumstances if he was wise enough, but now he suffers the harsher consequences.
I agree the Hogan family doesn't need anymore TV time, but Terry's fine with me.

Andrew Monzon Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 11:14 PM EST

I think it is ok to have Hulk Hogan in the shows as long as his family is not there anymore. He earned it and they did not. Just to have people famous for sitting around a house in a reality show is idiotic and not right. I think if people find reality shows like that interesting, then people are not busy enough and should be doing more. Thanks. I say don't ban Hulk Hogan but ban his family.. And ban some of these shows which keep having screech. I am 30 years old and 5-10 130 pounds and I could easily outwrestle screech I think. and I never was in a fight in my life. He looks easy to fight.

just jim Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 09:28 PM EST

Just goes to show you how some people are Idiots. You go Hogan.j

Meghan Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 09:16 PM EST

I love how these shows are comprised of the exact same washed-up Z-listers. I don't think I'll be watching this one, since seeing Screech on Celebrity Fit Club only proved that he's the biggest jerkwad ever.

Nihilistic Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 06:19 PM EST

I agree with the Burn in Hell guy. People should boycott this show and anything the Hogans stand to profit from now on after hearing the deplorable things they said about the boy Nick Hogan nearly killed in a car crash. Please can't we just let these despicable people fade away and spend the rest of their degenerate lives in obscurity until the glorious day in which they pass on into the afterlife and take their designated places in the flaming bowels of Hell where their flesh will bubble and pop and their eyes will melt and their brains will boil for all of eternity?

JJ Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 03:43 PM EST

And the decline of civilization marches on.

stephen to Heather Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 03:02 PM EST

Just my opinion after reading/hearing about this

Sorry if I offended you, and I believe I have just as might right to judge as you. :)

Heather Wixson Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 02:40 PM EST

Somebody needs to tag me in because I am SOOOO gonna watch this. And Stephen why should Hulk and his family be burning in hell precisely? Who are you to judge (just wondering and all...)?

snarky Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 01:02 PM EST

why does CMT have the BEST reality TV trainwrecks? First, "Gone Country" with Maureen McCormack and Bobby Brown and now this! I am setting the DVR now.

Stephen Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 12:51 PM EST

Here's hoping Hulk and his family will be burning in hell by the time this airs.
