Your Must List ideas, please

Apr 23, 2008, 03:59 PM | by Joy Piedmont

Categories: Must List

You may not know this, but rabbits are haughty little animals. All the proof you need is on disapprovingrabbits.com, where bunnies are unmasked as the pretentious creatures they really are. Luckily, the bunnies' snobbery doesn't automatically make them Death Eaters. Harry Potter would be proud.

What say you, Popwatchers? Which current TV shows/movies/music/books/games/websites make your Must List this week? In the comments section below, list up to three, and include your e-mail address so we can contact you if we decide to use your submission in the magazine. Deadline is tomorrow, Thursday, April 24, at 10 a.m. ET.

Definitely the new Robin Sparkles video "Sandcastles in the Sand" - TIFFANY is in it!

Stephanie Sat, Apr 26, 2008 at 08:14 PM EST

I can't stop playing Brett Dennen's new album, So Much More.

mary wigle Fri, Apr 25, 2008 at 03:11 PM EST

JPod---crazy Canadian show you can watch online. Where else can you find a cowboy, pot growing house wife, and Alan Thicke waltzing with a Chinese Mafia Kingpin?

meredith Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 01:08 PM EST

1. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
2. Kate Nash- Made of Bricks
3. David Cook

AJ Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 11:58 AM EST

I've only got 1 -- the return of Lost!! What a great season it's been.

nathan Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 11:27 AM EST

She and Him - Volume 1 CD. Great album and just another reason to love Zooey Deschanel.

tracy Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 10:35 AM EST

01. forgetting sarah marshall
02. american idol (but only for david cook)
03. the cab's (myspace.com/thecab) debut album (it comes out on tuesday, and it's RAD.)

oren Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 09:39 AM EST

Russell Brand in sarah marshall, thecheappop.com, may shades of black - the raconteurs

denny Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 09:09 AM EST

This will probably be a little late when I finish typing it, but there is no American Idol site better than whatnottosing.com. Complete episode archives, plus ratings of every show, contestant, and song ever sung in the show's seven-season run, compiled from 200-300 different online reviews. It's an amazing accopmlishment, and should be featured on the Must List.

Erica Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 08:04 AM EST

Along with the return of Doctor Who, the debut of Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. It's sometimes hard for the companion to hold her own with David Tennant, but she is an awesome force to behold. She'll be his conscience this year, I think.

Bones, again, because, seriously. The two of them together are just so much fun to watch.

FNL on DVD. Tami and Coach are just perfect.

Ryan B Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 07:02 AM EST

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, on DVD. See what you missed in theaters last year.

Kids in the Hall on tour!

Matt Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 06:01 AM EST

Music-Landon Pigg's "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop." The song is from a commercial a few months back. The line "I see the path that your eyes wander down, I wanna come to" is probably the most romantic line of any song this decade!

Robbie Rozelle Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 11:38 PM EST

Laura Benanti's stunning turn changing from plain daughter Louise into stripper Gypsy Rose Lee in the Broadway revival of Gypsy is a Tony-worthy tour-de-force performance.

Dave Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 09:42 PM EST

Steve Martin as Tina Fey's boss Barry in "Baby Mama." The character is a cross between "Seinfeld's" J. Peterman and Apple's Steve Jobs...very hip and trendy and very very self-important. Steve Martin nails it.

H. Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 09:39 PM EST

1. How I Met Your Mother. Barney & Robin's kiss!
2. The rest of Lost season 4!
3. Popwatch's weekly review of Greek. Where is this weeks????

Megan Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 08:34 PM EST

Barney and Robin on How I Met Your Mother. My jaw dropped!

pirate Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 07:33 PM EST

1)Return of Ugly Betty and LOST(o and Grey's which I'm hoping gets better)
2)American Idol
3)DVD-Cloverfield

Megan Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 07:14 PM EST

The return of Doctor Who.

Merigan Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 07:08 PM EST

Barney and Robin on How I Met Your Mother- Unlike their friends Ted, Marshall, and Lily, Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Cobie Smulders) aren't into commitment, but they are certainly into each other. Their kiss at the end of this week's episode was both hot and legen...wait for it...dary.

1. The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. You guys have already interviewed her and I have EW to thank for tipping off the surreal world of Forks. I am now completely obsessed!
3. "Forking" off (see what I did there?) of Twilight is the Twilight Lexicon. One of the most organized and classy places to get my *hourly* Twilight Fix.
3. To continue with my Twilight obsession, the upcoming movie! Have you seen that MTV behind-the-scenes video? How are we all going to survive until December 12th!?!

nathan Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 06:35 PM EST

CD - She and Him - Vol.1
Blu-Ray - Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
DVD - The Savages & Cloverfield

Karen Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 06:30 PM EST

Jack McBrayer. As desperate to please NBC page Kenneth or as a naive newlywed in Sarah Marshall, Mr. McBrayer is always funny. Maybe it is because he is from my home town but it is always nice to hear a southern accent on a character who is not married to his cousin.

Brandon Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 06:20 PM EST

1. SNL Clips on Hulu - The show is getting great again, and I think we can all agree it is because of 3 players: Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, and Kristen Wiig.

2. Paul Rudd in Forgetting Sarah Marshall is purely hilarious. Koonu... where do they come up with this?

Rose Tyler Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 05:54 PM EST

1. The return of Doctor Who to American TV. The lucky ducks across the pond have been getting their dose of The Doctor for a few weeks and now it's our turn!
2. The Black Keys "Attack and Release"- I can't get enough.
3. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly coming out on dvd- Already waiting at the top of my Netflix queue. So beautiful.

Snarf Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 05:29 PM EST

Two words, May. Sweeps.

Sasha Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 05:20 PM EST

I cannot stop listening to Brett Dennen's "So Much More"!

Daniel Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 04:53 PM EST

-- Metacritic.com - ever since Rotten Tomatoes updated the layout of their site, I've come to realize that Metacritic is far the better place to go for film reviews and the overall critical average.
-- Russell Brand in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" - Without his fabulous performance and one-liners, I'm not sure I would consider this Apatow's best work since "Knocked Up"... but it is.
-- 'Ultimate Spider-Man' - Bendis' long-running update on the saga of Peter Parker has reclaimed its status as one of the best comic books in the biz, ever since the addition of the wonderful Stuart Immonen as the artist.

MY NAME IS EARL has turned around a bummer of a plot arc. Last week's episode featuring Beau Bridges was so dang poingniant and hillarious and awsome. The whole cast was great especially Bridges and Ethan Suplee as Randy. More people should watch this show.

1)Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer
2)How I Met Your Mother-Who Hoo For Sandcastles in the Sand!
3)Greys Anatomy, Ugly Betty AND Lost are all back - here's hoping there is not an actor's strike to mess up the fall.....

Allie Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 04:13 PM EST

Jim and Pam on The Office. It's great to finally see a TV couple stay happy and FUN even after they've gotten together.

Angela Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 04:00 PM EST

How I Met Your Mother. The show just gets better and better. Between the "revertigo" experienced by various characters, Robin Sparkles exciting "b-side" and the Barney/Robin kiss at the end, HIMYM keeps raising the bar. How is it possible that this show hasn't been renewed for next season yet?

EP Sato Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 04:00 PM EST

Forgetting Sarah Marshall. By far the best "romantic comedy" I've ever seen, and it's guy friendly! This flick's a date movie and a half.

Mavis Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:56 PM EST

A website I visit daily, besides ew.com that is, is http://www.mentalfloss.com/ It is full of so much info! And I love their lunchtime quizzes!

Lauren Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:56 PM EST

1. The returns of 30 Rock, The Office, and Gossip Girl! Welcome back quotable dialogue, cuties galore (Penn Badgley and John Krasinski, anyone?), and happy Monday and Thursday nights for all!
2. The Ruins, by Scott Smith. Finally reading it (no, I didn't see the movie), and 75 pages in, I'm totally hooked.
3. The underrated-for-too-long Jason Segel finally getting his moment in the sun. Not only Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but last week's performance in How I Met Your Mother shows he's got some dramatic chops as well. And he's darling to boot!

Mike Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:42 PM EST

Foxboro Hot Tubs-Green Day's new side project. Their first record in 4 years and new episodes of 30 Rock and the Office after 6! months.

Juliet Gray Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:36 PM EST

Liz Vassey as Wendy Simms on CSI - make her a CSI already!

Jorge Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:34 PM EST

Are you kidding? It begins and ends with the return of Lost, heading down the Season 4 home stretch.

v Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:32 PM EST

1. 30 Rock - so glad it's back! Last week's episode was an instant classic. "Who is Conan O'Brien and why is she so sad?"
2. Paul Newman - Now that I've watched all the Daniel Day-Lewis movies available on Netflix, I'm through with my DDL obsession and have moved on to Paul Newman. I decided to start with more recent works first - "Nobody's Fool" and "Empire Falls" - but then went back to the older stuff. First, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" which I loved, then "Long Hot Summer" which, for me, paled in comparison to "Cat." "The Sting" was on cable, so why not watch that again? And then there was "Hud" - holy hotness, people.

Michelle Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:22 PM EST

I love these Battlestar Galactica LOLCats:

Alicia Keys's incredible new music video for her equallu amazing song "Teenage Love Affair". Ch-ch-check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPfTQOwETMI

Susie Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:08 PM EST

Awesome and hilarious abridged scripts of some of recent box office hits and misses.

http://www.the-editing-room.com/

Dave Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:07 PM EST

Baby Mama! I know it's not out until Friday, but it's Tina Fey, and I would totally have her babies.

David Dyer Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 03:05 PM EST

Forgetting Sarah Marshall - I was expecting a good comedy from the Apatow troop, but this was a great comedy that I cannot stop thinking about. Jason Segel did a wonderful job both writing and acting. Mila Kunis was top notch as well, she has grown way past her 70's show acting.
