What do 'Idol,' 'Lost,' and adorable kittens have in common?

Apr 13, 2008, 12:49 PM | by Michael Slezak

Categories: 'American Idol', 'Lost', Idolatry

This week's episode of Idolatry, of course! When you're done watching, please weigh in with the appropriate sentence for Ryan Seacrest's unusually cruel treatment of Michael Johns during Thursday's Idol results show. I was gonna suggest 30 days in the clink, where Ryan would have to watch his E! colleague Giuliana DePandi fill in on Idol hosting duties, but why should all of us have to pay the price for his crime?

Missy (Grandma Missy) Sun, Apr 27, 2008 at 12:45 PM EST

I think Ryan owes the man a PUBLIC apology for being such a tacky jerk!!!

Ben Snyman Wed, Apr 16, 2008 at 07:56 PM EST

Michael was robbed. According to his fans his voting line was busy throughout the voting period so there was no way he legitimately dropped from 3rd in the TV Guide polls to last. It will be interesting to see if any of the mainstream media picks up on this but looks like Michael's having the last laugh anyway.

Aragall Tue, Apr 15, 2008 at 05:35 PM EST

To Supermart: I guess I'm beyond being shocked by this nasty crowd. I think they would have done it on Christmas day if it would have made them a buck. It all comes down to the almighty dollar. I really don't think they have any connection with the Idols besides the amount of money they can squeeze out of them.

supermart Tue, Apr 15, 2008 at 12:31 PM EST

To Aragall: The shocking thing about this is the timing. You're right in everythimg you said, but this has never suppossed to happen in "Gives Back week". That makes the difference. It is suppossed to be about share, giving, hope, and as reader Jack well said: "Is that how American Idol gives back to the fans?". Period. I don't want to say "I will never watch Idol again" because I know I still be watching it, but I can swear at this very momment that I will never watch stupid and FAKE Idol Gives Back Week never ever again!

cimagato Tue, Apr 15, 2008 at 12:24 PM EST

Once again, Slezak, I love you. The puppies & kitties everytime Archie's name was mentioned--great. And it does feel like something ominously unseen is behind KLC's continued presence on the show.

Jesse Tue, Apr 15, 2008 at 10:59 AM EST

Now I'm hoping Kristy Lee stays around for a while just to see how this movie/storyline develops. I get a big laugh out of it every week.

susan Tue, Apr 15, 2008 at 02:02 AM EST

I liked MJ but again not enough votes that is why he was sent home. He is talented and will do well. I think some of the others should have been sent home instead. David Archuleta is still the best and most unique talent and yes his fans continue to vote for him. It is all about the fans now. You vote for the ones you like. I am not a tween but I love David A. He is AWESOME.

eidderf Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 08:21 PM EST

Don't cry over spilled milk. MJ is gone, kaput, finito, kalash. To those who said they aren't gonna watch AI anymore, 'coz MJ is gone, or if DC was voted off, y' all are hypocrites, for all I know, y'll still be watching AI because y' love it. Don't blame AI brass, it's your fault why MJ was gone, you didn't vote enough, you lazy buggers, y'all very well know the rules, votes that count, not your sour grapes or your complaints . Does not make sense. Next time you have favorites, vote until your fingers bleed. That's what fans of DA are doing, they're determined to let him win it all. Of all the guys, he has the best voice, so it's a win win situation.

mrclean Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 08:19 PM EST

the more surreal these get the better I like them!!

Alissa Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 07:21 PM EST

You know Syesha is going to sing the Whitney Houston-Mariah Carey duet. She loves diva songs she can't pull off so this one, two punch is right up her alley.

Aragall Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 06:27 PM EST

Why would anyone expect any different from Ryan? He's part of the rudest, cruelest show on TV. Is it any worse than what he did to Chris Daughtry a couple of years back? Is it any worse than the steady bashing of Clay Aiken? Nothing could be worse than what they have done and are still doing to Taylor Hicks. They have made nasty comments, taken him off the opening credits of the show, had Clive Davis come on the show and insult him, failed to introduce him at the season 6 finale(though he needs no introduction),and tried to pretend that he never existed, while all but naming Chris Daughtry the real idol. What did Taylor ever do to them but be smart enough and entertaining enough to earn enough votes to win their contest by THEIR RULES? So again, I ask......Why does Ryan's cruel treatment of Michael Johns surprise or shock anyone? I would thing you'd come to expect such by now.

Jack Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 06:14 PM EST

Vocal contest? Not! Popularity contest at best. My picks are not important. Letting Fox and Ryan know that the Very low Blow was not a good thing at all. Is that how American Idol gives back to the fans? Slap for Ryan for not standing up "not going to do it" Will I watch next season? Don’t know I doubt it. I have rescinded my pledge to Idol gives back. I will help in another way. I cannot be associated with low life acts of this nature. American Idol if this is for the fans PLEASE don’t give back! I don’t even think Simon would reach that low! Honestly! Wow disgusted with American Idol right now! Simon do something PLEASE! Never again should this happen.

supermart Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 05:19 PM EST

I think Simon Cowell is a sort of "Benjamin Linus" (He is the bad guy and everybody knows it), American Idol Producers are "Jacob" (The Master Mind hidden in the darkness)and RYAN SEACREST IS DEFINITELY, THE BLACK SMOKE !!!

Tabitha Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 03:14 PM EST

Yay! I just wanted to say how much I love the 'Mechagodzilla aliens are working for Kristy Lee Cook' segments. They're my number 1 reason to watch Idolatry. I'm still rooting for Jason Castro, though, so I guess I'd get thrown in the brig. :)

Sadie Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 02:48 PM EST

Extremely disappointed to see Michael leave; while I had no illusions that he would win, he's much better than some of the women still hanging around. I didn't see his age as a polarizing factor, it's just that those of us who are close to his age and voting only vote a handful of times instead of dialing for hours. I don't have the time or the patience for that. I wish him the best of luck with his career. Meanwhile, Ryan is a do*che, that's a no-brainer. I'm sure the bit was scripted, but he likely had some input. And you have to hand it to him -- he works hard.

maryb Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 02:35 PM EST

Here's my response to Ryan's cruelty. Fox already got an e-mailful from me. On a night we were supposed to "give back" and feel good about it, Fox made us give back and then kicked us in the gut. That said, after Ryan's cruelty, there's only one answer: Bring back Dunkleman!

kevin Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 02:23 PM EST

thank god johns is gone...geez.
was he realy any good?...i never saw it.
people were saying he was good...for whatever reason i have no idea.
its like "the emperors new clothes".
brooke white needs to be next for the simple reason that i just can't handle her.....she cries every freakin show...PLEASE!!
and as far as seacrest's delivery...it wasn't cruel...maybe it wasn't sensitive to the contestant...but it wasn't cruel.
dream on is a great classic tune....not in the inspirational catagoty....and if i ever had to hear it sung by a guy who should stay in the bar band business again...i will cry and roll around on the ground like a little baby untill someone makes it GO AWAY!!!
thanx america for making that dude go away...solid.

karen saracina Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 01:54 PM EST

Unnecessary, unprofessional and it diminished a show that was all about humanitarian causes. What people now remember is how Michael Johns was handled. Probably affected donations that would have come in that night.

Jackie Wolf Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 01:39 PM EST

The main target demographic for this program is not the great thinkers of America. It's the tween and teenage crowd. Otherwise they would change the age of those able to audition. But I do know a lot of adults who watch and I think they may want to see that the "American" Idol comes from the US, and not the UK or Australia. Michael and Carly were given all the nods to win this competition at the Top 12 point. So perhaps the fact that the girl who obviously has less talent than either Michael or Carly but who sang "God Bless the USA" speaks volumes to the fact that Americans want an American to be their American Idol.

Broadway Baby Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 01:28 PM EST

Wish I could add something original - but I can't. I'm totally with the caller Andy that MJ was too old. Not that I think they should change the age limit it's just that at that point in your life if you haven't been working and raising kids (a la Daughtry) but you have been trying really hard to be a rock star then honey, there is a reason that it hasn't worked out. You don't got 'it'. As Simon would say - Sorry. And I am with the rest of you who say BEST IDOLATRY EVER. The kitten was the thing that got me.... kitties!!!!

Caroline Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 01:25 PM EST

Hilarious episode. I love these little chats with Slezak and Company.

The scary part is, that puppy actually does look a lot like David Archuleta. Every time I see Archie I'm going to think of it. I almost expect the puppy to trot out on stage this week.

YAWN Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 01:07 PM EST

Apparently, it doesn't take much to make some of you laugh. Those robots scenes, hilarious?
Yeah, right.

Archie is so sweet Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 12:52 PM EST

hahaha Archie is so cute and talented
I will vote for him...

Anne Marie Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 12:21 PM EST

Oh man - I was taking a sip of water when you showed the puppy clip instead of David A., and my snicker triggered a coughing fit.

Maggs Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 12:05 PM EST

You combined my two loves, Lost and AI and for that I Love You Slezak! Your KLC/godzilla robot scenes are getting more hillarious, if it wasn't for the fact that I don't like her and think she can't sing I would like her to stay longer only so I could see more Idolotary videos with her in them.

BH Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 12:01 PM EST

Idolatry- The best episode ever!! Everything was priceless. Great use of LOST footage, cute animals shown instead of David A. and the hilarious Krizilla. LOVED IT!!!!!

Seacrest- I believe that all of his lines are scripted, however, that doesn't excuse the fact that Ryan still said it. Just because its on the teleprompter doesn't mean you can't take the high road and just not say it. It was painful enough to see the shock on his face and everyone elses when it was announced that he was leaving, but to rub salt into his wound like that was completely unnecessary.

Out with Seacrest? Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 10:56 AM EST

I don't understand the visceral response to how Seacrest announced MJ's departure. It was probably scripted for shock value, and he probably didn't have any say in it. And everybody WAS shocked, so that meant he got the job done! I actually prefer the quick elimination rather than his usual melodramatic delivery. Calling him cruel or an ***hole is ridiculous.

EP Sato Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 10:34 AM EST

BEST. IDOLATRY. EVER.

60secondfan Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 10:31 AM EST

I think Slezak has been referring to Archupuppies and Archukittens since one of his first recaps of the Idol season.

Steph Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 10:23 AM EST

Is it telling that idolatry did not mention Brooke White? I like her, but is she memorable?

60secondfan Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 10:07 AM EST

okay, i absolutely adore adore adore these idolatry videos, but i have to point out that while the kitten/david archuleta stuff was fun, the mtv idol in 60 seconds recap did it a few weeks ago. i wonder if this is like the david cook/doxology scandal of idol web videos! see for yourself: http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1582109&vid=219243

CS Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 09:58 AM EST

Sometimes Ryan tries so hard to be "cute" , he doesn't use any common sense! I really liked Michael but someone has to be voted off! But I think is always thinking about shock value!

Gale Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 09:22 AM EST

Good question, Stephanie. I bet they are wondering the same thing.

suzanne Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 09:14 AM EST

Every year people cry foul. It's so ridiculous. There's no reason for them to eliminate contestants different from the outcome of the voting. They can option any of the contentants for contracts later. AI reserves the right to "manipulate the results" (as someone earlier said) only in that they monitor calls received for evidence of power voting (technologically enhanced voting systems--not real people voting) reserve the right to invalidate power voting when detected. That's it. And that's what most people want because it's a waste of everyone's time to pick up the phone and dial if other people can program their bank of computers to vote 100 times faster than anyone with a phone. See http://www.americanidol.com/faqs

I voted for Michael. did you?

Slezak--Pls. take an objectivity pill before doing the power rankings. (You have your favs, we know, but check dialidol--the public is speaking.)

Gensen Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 08:36 AM EST

I never agreed with the male/female ratio... even going into the top 12. I would rather see an uneven number of males vs. females, so long as we have the most talented 12 people regaurdless of gender!

Just Wondering... Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 08:35 AM EST

...how many of those crying conspiracy actually voted Tuesday night?

Stephanie T. Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 08:30 AM EST

That's right, producers have the right to manipulate results. So being that was the case, even though Taylor Hicks had a decent voice, why did he win again? Most of the time they feel that they need someone who would make money for them given the current market. Jordin's market had Miley Cyrus. If 14 year olds buy Miley, they'd buy Jordin.

Gale Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 08:04 AM EST

Regarding MJ, let's not forget the disclaimer that flashes on the screen for a millisecond during the closing credits. To paraphrase, the producers reserve the right to manipulate the results... There is no doubt in my mind that Nigel and Co.
decided it was time for him to go, for at least three reasons:
1. They felt that someone who speaks with a non-American accent will never win; (look out, Carly!)
2. They want to keep the male/female ratio intact, and he looked like the next expendable male;
3. They wanted to preserve some racial diversity, so it was better to eliminate the white male than the black female.

Regarding Ryan, cut him some slack. He reads what he says from a script that he doesn't write.

Forrest Cook Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 07:48 AM EST

Ryan Seacrest is so envious of Simon that he is now trying to BE like Simon...only it doesn't work well for him...he was just plain cruel, and there is NO excuse for it. I used to like Ryan but I beginning to like him less and less with each episode.

Larry Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 06:30 AM EST

Ok, can someone please explain to me why on earth they're doing Mariah Carey week this week? Isn't Mariah Carey one of like four vocalists (Whitney, Aretha, Stevie and Mariah) that the judges immediately disembowel you for if you sing one of their songs? Other than David Archuleta (if he reaches) and Carly, no one will benefit from this week, certainly not us!

shiana Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 04:44 AM EST

Ryan is an a$$hole with no class.

No surprises there and it was hardly unexpected.

gabrielle Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 01:44 AM EST

Okay Slezak, I love what you are doing with Idolatry! The robotronic masterminds are awesome. Production value on these things are pretty high!

Tina Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 10:52 PM EST

Yeah guys because Ryan decides what to say on stage. Give me a break, its all a script from Nigel and company. All part of the entertainment value.

smallseal Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 10:32 PM EST

Yes Please post the site where we can find Michael Johns previous work- I'd love to hear it!!!
And Ryan is an ass. I don't know what a fair punishment would be... maybe watching the earlier episodes of idol- with the terrible contestants? That's kind of torturous...

Cinderella6 Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 10:20 PM EST

Djulka Can you tell us where you got on that website of Michael Johns songs? I would love to see what else he can do. He is very talented and will not "Disappear"-another Inxs song he could sing well.

Nadia H Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 10:08 PM EST

Slezak, this week's Idolatry was hilarious yet again. I love the robot mix ins--You make KLC so much less painful. And the kitten for David A. was right on the money. I could take him or leave him, but the continuous "aw, he's so cute and only 17, cut him some slack" attitude by so many of his fans is wearing on me. REALLY wearing on me, kind of like how Syesha has been wearing on me for the last few weeks. She is trying to channel her inner diva and is coming off as just annoying. At this point, I want her to go before KLC for sure. Ryan was a total jack a** to Michael Johns. Way to kick a guy when he's down. That was cruel and so unnecessary. MJ of course handled it with grace. I wish Michael would have shouted something like "Crikey, Mate!" and then pummeled Ryan. Bam! To the floor! Hey, how do you like that surprise, Ryan?

IamNot ALoser Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 09:31 PM EST

Well, it's unanimous from reading these posts that everyone thinks that Ryan is a lout. So why do we still insist on watching and participating in this vulgar manipulation that makes millions of $$$ for those who care nothing about how we the public feel?
Because we are a pathetic as a society. We loathe it, yet we love it.
Word of advice. Just turn it off.

TONY POGORZELSKI Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 09:16 PM EST

I LOST ALL RESPECT FOR AI. THERE IS CLEARLY SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE VOTING.SEACREST SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO M.J. AND HIS FANS.I HAVE NO DESIRE TO WATCH ANYMORE, THERE REALLY IS NO POINT TO THE SHOW IF ONE OF THE BEST TALENTS ON THE SHOW GETS KICKED OFF SO EARLY IN THE COMPETITION.SO LONG AI YOU LOST ME AND MY FAMILY. TONY-OUT!

Joe in Philly Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 09:13 PM EST

Ryan was being cruel but I'm all in favor of more cruelty on that show.

NineDaves Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 08:11 PM EST

michael johns was never my favorite, but i wasn't ready to say goodbye to him. i just wish idol gives back would have skipped this week's vote off. most people i know missed the performance episode, because they thought it was all about idol gives back.

Rita Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 07:20 PM EST

I truely think now this show is fixed when they put off the best singer by far, there is a problem and Ryan just sucked the way he did it. I will not waste my time on the show anymore Simone is the only real one on the show Stop watching its all fixed to bad I WON'T BE WATCHING

Rita Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 07:16 PM EST

Slezak please i want to heart what YOU and your colleagues think! i hate those movie clips with those asians it gets really annoying. I could barely hear the phone call in this episodes. i agreed with the dude on the phone Michaels was a truly nice guy. Dolly Parton week he was sexy as hell and unfortunately this week he came in first. The producers were trying to get rid of him because they want Archuleta to win. He is a very talented performer and now he has the created freedom to do very well. I cant wait to see him on tour.

Tony Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 05:38 PM EST

The producers need to reign Ryan in a bit. His attacks on Simon ceased being funny 2 seasons ago. America got it wrong with Michael Johns. There are 4 less deserving performers still vying for the win. I was completely shocked when Seacrest annouced it was Michael who'd be leaving. Wrong. Just wrong!

Djulka Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 05:27 PM EST

During the last few days I have obsessively posted comments about the ouster of Michael Johns like a deranged tagger with several cases of spray paint. It suddenly dawned on me what cause this temporary bout of verbal diarrhea. The long and short of it is that I found a website with Michael Johns songs recorded on some independent label & was blown away by his performances. The millions of people who watch idol did not hear these songs. The judge harp about originality yet Idol does not allow for it. Why can't contestants sing original or previously unrecorded music for once! Then we would see who has the muscial chops & who belongs at the karaoke booth at the farm fair.

steveforbertfan Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 05:08 PM EST

I think Seacrest is completely out of control this season. He is so disrectful to Simon. As mean as Simon can be, he at least is stating his opinion. Seacrest seems to relish humiliating Simon and it has become uncomfortable to watch. He needs to be muzzled!!!!!

Djulka Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 05:02 PM EST

Ryan's exit speech to Michael Johns seemed scripted. Shame on AI for the shockingly crude choice of words. How uncharitable to put a damper on a week that was supposed to be about inspiration & hope.

The sad irony is that Johns sang a song about making dreams come true. It was obvious that his struggles in the music industry coupled with his dreams of success were very personal to him. Yet he had to stand there and endure the indignity of having someone dash his hopes and toy with his emotions. For a fleeting moment, much to my own shame, I regretted donating money to Idols Gives Back. Idol is usually a "feel good" moment for me. If not for the impressively courageous and impassioned performance of Michael Johns during his exit song, this night would have forever tarnished my feelings for AI.

Cinderella6 Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 04:54 PM EST

My blood was boiling and my mouth was left hanging open too-Gensen. What a cruel stunt for Ryan to pull. It would not have hurt Idol to go another week with the 8 Idols. They sure know how to put the cruelty factor to work this week. I dont even think Simon can top this prank. Ryan needs to go to The "Survivor" show for a few weeks. He can be exiled a few times or maybe give him the water torture treatment. Its too bad that had to happen because a lot of peole have lost respect for him. Michael deserved to be in the top four. I really wanted to hear him sing an "INXS" song. (Maybe "Dont Tear Us Apart or ("Mystify") That would have turned things around. I know it would have to been in a week where they didnt have a mentor but would have been awesome anyways.

Suzanne Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 03:57 PM EST

1. Agree with Fran. David Archuleta had a really good week; he's not just a cute pup adorning the competition.

2. I hate the MJ is gone. But he wasn't awesome or bad, so he's out. I liked him, esp. last week.

3. I don't get at all what they were doing with how that elimination was stated--like pulling out the safety net. How weird. Didn't add drama and seemed hurtful.

4. The LOST send up was great. Really inspired satire.

Gensen Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 03:40 PM EST

Last week was like watching dirty politics.. I was left with my mouth hanging open and my blood boiling. They might as well vote off David Cook & Carly next to level the talent playing feild.

Gensen Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 03:36 PM EST

Ryan I think has been a little "different" this season... And certainly Michael deserved to be there more so than some others who remain standing especially Kristy Lee

Sherry Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 03:11 PM EST

That comment Ryan made about last year no one got voted off that week was cruel!!! I like Michael!

Megan Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 02:55 PM EST

I agree with ":(" I hate David Archuleta too!!! Just had to say that! I liked Micheal though. O well. Jason and David cook are better. I miss Danny Noriega.

:( Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 02:48 PM EST

Your KLC coverage is priceless. It's the only reason I can still deal with her being on the show. But the fact that she and Syesha outlasted MJ... It's the first time I've ever thought the show was rigged. I'm being more rational now, but I'm still fairly angry.

I also adore your coverage of Archuleta, because I hate him too, and I love how you just kind of... ignore him. It makes me happy.

Emily Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 01:35 PM EST

This was, by far and away, one of the best Idolatries yet. Last year's "overarching plot" with the smashed record was good, but the Krizilla plot this year is PRICELESS! The fact that Ben is really behind Krizilla (and, therefore, I presume every other year's -zilla? Such as Sanjilla?) only makes the world make more sense. (Because if Ben is behind it, too, you never know when you'll suddenly agree with him - like this week's performances.)

I only wish, being a (surprised at myself) huge fan of David Cook this year, why you didn't address the fact that David Cook showing that he's human with last week's performance (which wasn't good) that he's probably just done himself a HUGE favor. Just like Kitten Archuleta messing up early on, last week reminded David Cook's fans that they can't remain complacent that he'll just sail through. (However, I found myself cynical at DA's mess up, while only concerned for DC's. Hrm.)

Anywho, keep up the GREAT work! Thanks!

Jan Krupp Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 01:30 PM EST

I think it is time for Ryan Seacrest to go home, he finds pleasure in eliminating men, that are more attractive than he is. He is so love with himself, and I ask what does he have to even like himself about?

Queen of Disrepair Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 01:08 PM EST

Archuleta and kittens...Bwhahahahahah!!!!!!!!Excellent "Lost" images and House of Pain muzak! I'm not enjoying IDOL religiously this year but have to say, without exception, EW's coverage has been fabulous!

RollaMattea Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 12:59 PM EST

My gosh Slezak, let go of your precious Fantasia. Syesha did NOT "overshoot her vocals". While it was a bad song choice, vocally, it was the best of the night!

Kelly Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 12:53 PM EST

The LOST part at the beginning was priceless! I love Idolatry!

Fran Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 12:42 PM EST

I agree that Michael's elimination was cruel and that David C.'s performance was awful. What bothers me about your commentary is the way you treat David Archuleta as someone who isn't really part of the competition and is only staying for the long run because of his huge fan base. Give the kid some slack. He's 17 but he's no Sanjaya. He's got one of the best vocals on the show.

wtf Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 12:17 PM EST

p.s. fair warning to AI: when David Cook goes, I go.... grrrrrr....

wtf Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 12:16 PM EST

another great video - UNTIL the KLC part - could we please ignore her until she GOES AWAY? And YES - Michael Johns was robbed and Ryan was cruel. If there was ever a week they should have waited a week - THIS WAS IT!! (see how mad I am, using all these caps and exclamation points?!?!?!)

E.B. Berman Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 11:57 AM EST

I am going to make this bold statement: Dude who sports an ascot understands showmanship. Michael Johns is a big boy and he can take it.
