First MTV stopped playing music videos and now Headline News is ceasing to show news (unless it is all-day coverage of an L.A. car chase). We need a new cable station that gives the viewers updated news every hour or half hour so we can catch up on the daily news when we need it. Headline News no longer serves the purpose in which it was created.

I'd rather see Saturday Night Live or MAD TV spoof the likes of Nancy Grace (Amy Poehler already does a great job), then watching them spoof themselves. Headline News is an absolute joke. When it's not Nancy or Glen, it's AJ whatshisname and Showbiz Tonight talking about Britney!

Watching Nancy Grace in action = Pure Comedy Gold. She's such a characuture to begin with spoofing almost seems surperfulous.

This post is spot on. I've stopped watching CNN altogether since they introduced the Nancy-Glenn two-headed monster. Anymore, I rely on newspapers for my news and the Daily Show and Colbert for my satire.

while nancy grace is hilarious (one need only to watch the soup to find that out), glenn beck is pretty funny in his own right. and i actually mean that in a good way. While a lot of people think he's an idiot and a nutcase, I think he's pretty entertaining. not necessarily politically in line with how i think all the time, but everyone's got a little crazy in them.
