This show is really stupid, first and foremost, just because thier parents were famous singers, doesnt make their children good singers too, this show has proven it, these ppl really dont have vocal talent, the talent they have is stuff they picked up from listening to ppl in their surroundings, i laugh everytime i hear them its patyhetic, and the judges have the nerve to tell em they are good (mommy and daddy have paid them well or whoever) this show makes me puke, yet i still watch it, so i must find it entertaining somehow, but more cuz its full of boring offspring with no talent lol, put these ppl on actuall best singer shows (without ppl knowing who they are) and they wouldnt stand a chance, the judges would be laughing their asses off.

I think this show is an awesome idea! America Idol is not a legit show anymore, it's a freak show. Why not beat them at their own game by putting real freaks (Chloe Lattanzi) in the mix?

This is the best show MTV has come out with in yrs. Finally a show thats actually about music and not some rich bimbos or trashy party girls. And finally something thats not rap, rnb or hip hop themed. Plus this show has better music than Idol. Just cuz the ppl on the show have once famous parents doesnt mean they should be denied a chance at a contract. Not all the parents have money and tons of connections. I say you dont like the show and musicians on the show changed the channel. The only thing needs to change on this show is getting rid of Belinda Carlise or however you spell her name. I notice she isnt listed on the iamonmtv.com site as a judge and maybe not even the page on mtv.com. perhaps they got rid of her bum. Her giving Jesse Snider a 5 and Chloe a 9.5 is reason alone to fire her. I like the show and will watch it.

Actually, this is the most genius idea MTV has decided to air in years! The exact reason this show makes sense is because there is a common misconception that these kids are all "rich & priveledged." This is simply not true. The rich & priveledged ones are just the ones that have been on tv so far. If you are following in your parent's footsteps, imagine the comparisons that would be made. Now imagine your parent is a famous rock star! Trying to step out from this kind of shadow is NOT a blessing. It is a curse. This particular group of celebrity kids are real people that everyone will relate to. MTV is out to prove the stereotype wrong. These kids are talented and want to grab fame in their own rite. I hope they show behind the scenes stuff! I hear that MTV is really trying to change their programming and I personally think this is the show to do it.

I gotta join the chorus of people rolling my eyes at you, MTV. What are you thinking? I like that the New York Post article mentioned "Rich Girls" because that was such a horrible show. Remember when someone had the brilliant idea of putting a bunch of celeb kids on a ranch to do work? No? Probably because no one wants to watch the kids of celebs do much of anything, other than embarrass themselves as they drunkenly crawl out of clubs at like 2 in the morning or get arrested for drunk driving. If they really had talent, they'd already have record deals. Did anyone really watch that other Idol rip-off show where Perez Hilton and one of Hef's girlfriends rapped?
