Radiohead_l Radiohead's In Rainbows goes on sale in CD form on Jan. 1, but you can still hear it for free on the Internet one last time. Billboard reports that the band plans to play the album in its entirety during a live webcast at midnight ET on New Year's Eve, which you can watch at Current TV's website and on the cable channel itself three times the next day. (Thanks, Al Gore!)

Show of hands: how many of you plan to watch this, either on the Web or on TV? How many of you downloaded In Rainbows earlier this fall during Radiohead's pay-what-you-like promotion? And how many of you plan to buy it on CD?

Dear,Friend
"New year is celebrated around the world with hope and good wishes.

Every country has their own traditions and rituals and they welcome

the new year in their own unique ways. One common factor among all

nations observed in their new year celebration is special prayers,

blessings, attractive costume parties and religious celebration.

Funny story...my husband downloaded this album and overlooked that he was choosing a price in POUNDS and not dollars. When he got his credit card bill, he saw that he paid like $70 for it! Yowza.

It's me - Hi Kev!!

I'm the same as Kimberly...computer issues prevented me from downloading it but I really didn't have much interest in the download anyway. I like hardcopies of things...maybe I'm old-fashioned but I like being able to hold my purchases in my hand and look at the packaging (I'm a sucker for packaging). That said, I think Kimberly might be MY Kimberly...so if so, HI KIM!

I'm with Joel, I DL'ed it for free but will be buying a proper copy sometime after Jan. 1. It's a fantastic album, and I'd love to add it to me CD collection.

buying the CD, love the few downloads I got but can't wait for the geek out sonic experience.

or the tour!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Radiohead. I will absolutely buy the album. I didn't download it for free, because my computer at the time was sketchy, but even if I had I would still buy the album. I support Radiohead in anything they do.

I bought it for about $12 online, and I will buy it in cd form to get the better quality recording.

I LOVE Radiohead, and I LOVE the idea of cutting the record companies out of music, except for distribution. Radiohead always take chances, and for that I will support them always.

Since i listen to my music on my ipod and download it already i don't see the need to buy the cd. They should have included the better b-sides like 4 Minute Warning.

I'll probably look for a good audio rip of the webcast, in the first couple of days of 2008.

I'll buy the CD, partly because I downloaded it for free, and also because I like having the little booklet. As long as it isn't copy-protected like Hail To The Thief (which doesn't work on my computer, which is my primary CD player).

Bought it in the fall for $10 (well close since I couldn't figure the conversion rate exactly). Love it - but no need for the CD

Isn't the CD out already? I bought it last week at a proper record store-not a big chain. Anyway, it's good stuff.

I'll absolutely be watching this. I downloaded In Rainbows - paid about $10 (whatever it ended up being in pounds - 4 and change). Probably won't buy it on CD, though - no real need to.
