Yes, yes we are.

After watching this ad, are you more or less excited for the return of Knight Rider on Feb. 17?

David Hasselhoff will cameo as Michael Knight, should that sway you in either direction.

I've never cared about Knight Rider before, but now that I know Will Arnett's in it...maybe, just maybe I'll give it a shot. You know what I would be excited about? Arrested Development the reunion movie! Will it happen? No. But, a girl can dream.

""Mike"? KITT does not speak with such casualness. "Hello, Michael" fits better with the condescending tone I've grew to know and love of KITT's voice."

Xena, the main character in the new show is called Mike, not Michael, that's why KITT says it.

"It's not easy being a black Mustang..."

Honestly though, Will Arnett's involvement does make me more interested despite the fact that his post AD projects have been mostly craptastic ("Let's go to prison" anyone?) He was brilliant on 30 Rock though, but then again, who isn't?

He's got a great voice for voiceover work though. I loved his work in Edgar Wright's "Don't" trailer in "Grindhouse".

A mustang???? "Mike"????? I'm thinking 99% no.

It left me wanting more of his voice, which means I'll probally watch it for Will Arnett alone.

Inspired casting

It would have been funnier had he said, "George Michael".

Meghan Wed, Dec 26, 2007 at 11:58 AM EST

I'm just expecting KITT to say "Come ON, Michael!" or "Taste the happy Michael! Taste it!"

Jeremy Wed, Dec 26, 2007 at 11:57 AM EST

As long as every time he talks, we hear "The Final Countdown", I'm on board

Jason Wed, Dec 26, 2007 at 11:49 AM EST

Yeah, I imagine I'll Tivo it and check out the first half-hour. I'm not too hopeful though.

Brandon Wed, Dec 26, 2007 at 11:42 AM EST

If at any point Arnett whistles through his teeth while doing the voice, my entire 2008 will be made.

GingerCat Wed, Dec 26, 2007 at 11:41 AM EST

I'm not excited by the idea of a Knight Rider movie, but I AM excited by the idea of Will Arnett doing just about anything. His presence alone will get me to see this movie.
