As someone who defends country music's right to rock (or rap), I'm trying to embrace Cowboy Troy's "Hick Chick [Dance Mix]," but I'm on the fence.
Plus: It's got a beat you can dance to.
Minus: Pretty sure he says to "Feel it in your crack."
Plus: It's a call-and-response song. "Where all the hick chicks?" "Right here, Troy! Right here!" And who doesn't love a good call-and-response?
Minus: As Slezak points out, "He just rhymed grocery with supposed to be."
Plus: Cowboy Troy and John Rich look good in suits.
Minus: There's a woman swinging in stirrups. Does country music really need video girls?
Ugh. That's three pluses, and three minuses. Care to break the tie in the comments section, P-Dubs?
