I don't like the video at all. It does nothing for the song, although there's not much that can be done for this song or any on Kat's CD. From what I hear, the sales have been so low that there will not be another album by Kat.

Wow is all I can say. I read through alot of these posts and I just can't believe how mean some of you are. Alot of the posts make no sense to me at all and it is obvious there is some kind of sick battle being waged...I think almost all of the posts should just be deleted by a mod because they are so irrelevant to the topic. Now...back to what this is supposed to be about, Kat's new video. I love it! I am not an expert by any stretch but I loved the energy and it made the song even more enjoyable for me. The only thing I don't care for is how fast the scenes change, I think the shots with her wearing the beret could have been cut and more time spent focusing on the dancing would have been better. But all in all, I love the song and the video. I am an admitted fan of Katharine and far from being shallow Kat is generous and kind-hearted and a very talented young woman. I feel sad that all of these horrible things are being said about her in the name of being a "faithful" fan of whoever.

Yum is not the one that proffesional help, it's all of you PSYCHO'S that do. You just can't accept the fact that someone doesn't agree with your opinion about Taylor, and isn't afraid to say it, but that doesn't give you the right to stalk and harrass him and post personal info about him every chance you get. In case you haven't noticed, most of the country is laughing at the loser you support, so you better get used to seeing more and more negative remarks about him because he's nothing but a failure. Why don't you go back to your own boards, and stop looking for an excuse to bash Kat, Chris and their fans every chance you get. It shows how jealous you are, and how you'll never get over the fact that they are picking up new fans in the REAL WORLD, while Taylor's career is officially over.

no pre teen fans (sales) for this X rated video. Kat getting a "quickie" is a dim lit closet. Was there a bedroom in the low budget vid. Same location used for the first video. yumissupercool is know on the AI boards as "yumkatyum", and is well know to be one of the biggest bashers on blogs, Splash site and anywhere he can post negatively about Taylor Hicks. He's just a little twerp from Tampa who thinks he's great because he was up on stage with Katharine in Tampa. He's up all night on chat boards and sleeps half the day and had a recent meltdown regarding suicide. He pretends he's a "mister nice guy" when in fact he is a disgusting vulgar nasty slimey scumbag.

I imagine many of the people that are bashing Kat are in fact #4 fans, because they're jealous of Taylor, Kat and Elliott. They cannot get over the fact that Chris is #4.

This is a public board for comments and not high school that calls for a debate on the ifs, ands and buts, to explain in detail negetive opinion/s of Mcphee and her many talents. If the truth hurts so be it. Post ur reply in any shape, form or fashion that U choose. You almost sound like Jim in Nashville- another oldie but can talk up a storm. Anyone can refer to the official charts, (Billboard)and medibase,for information on any artist. Sales don't lie and radio play certainly is not happening at the moment for Mcphee, regardless of of the video, Love story was released over a month and half ago and radio has not picked it up. We can always count on seeing Mcphee on another Magazine cover, and holding our breath for a "academy award" winning, performance. Such a lucky girl.

Please understand - we Katharine fans are not attacking any and all people who don't like Katharine. Of course express any negative opinions if they are sincerely held and if you can actually explain what it is you don't like in even a semi-intelligent manner. The ones I attack are the demented few who are still angry that Katharine beat Chris and Elliot in Season 5 of AI and they hate her before even listening to her or watching her videos. It does not matter what she does, they will be on these blogs spewing their hate. They start it. We don't. Is there any comparable hate going on with every single Chris and Elliot blog that comes out? These people are mentally ill, how else would you explain it? I think that sincerely think that they can damage her career. All that I try to do is make sure that this is explained for the casual viewer who may have stumbled on one of these websites. We Katharine fans are happy just to enjoy Katharine, we wish the haters would just ignore her, please.

Dear esteemed colleagues,

Please accept my deepest apologies for my inarticulate, immature postings. I respect all of your opinions, truly, I do. Although I strongly believe that Katharine McPhee is one of the most visionary artists of our generation, I too can see the merits of other American Idol alumni, such as the esteemed Mr. Taylor Hicks.

Although Mr. Hicks' particular style of music may not entirely be to my taste, I do understand that different people enjoy different styles of music.

I am hoping we can resolve our differences and work together to help increase the record sales and profile of both Ms. McPhee and Mr. Hicks, as their respective messages of getting "over it" and "making us proud" are two valuable lessons that desperately need to be heard by today's wayward youth.

Taylor and Kat are NOT on the same label by the way, and they're not friends either. That's a FACT. They're not enemies, but they're definitely not buddies. I don't need to buy multiple copies of anything, that's another fanbase's tactic. I have full confidence in Katharine's talents to sell itself, and she's well on her way to doing that. I had no problem with anyone not liking her video, it's the personal attacks and judgements I take offense to, and you know there is plenty of it on this blog directed at Katharine for absolutely NO reason other than boredom, jealousy, and envy.

Wow..mcphans are at it yet again. This is why I don't post in the mcphan forums. I read some of their stuff but it's too hateful towards other contestants. Katharine's music career hasn't taken off, there is no denying that. I don't think people are being hateful in stating the obvious. The video is better than Over It, but I miss the Katharine from idol.

Mcphans surly are guilty of ruining Mcphee"s career before it ever got started. Spewing hate and discontent among other fanbase's. Mcphee dissed her own first single,"Over It" publicly.Her words were she did not want to be associated with that song.Consider the fans who dished out money for the album and now she is asking for support for "Love Story". A artist never puts down their music and if they do, be prepared for a backlash from RCA and fans. No one is buying and RCA is not supporting. Bottom line--Meager sales, no radio play.

I'm going to add one more insightful piece of information. Many artists are told by their handlers & publicists to avoid reading blog posts such as these because of the negative comments not necessarily directed at THEM, but at their fellow recording artists with whom they are compared. Regardless of how you feel about using the term HAGS, please remember that Taylor is ALSO Katharine's friend & I highly doubt she'd appreciate you "coming to her rescue" & responding to her haters as HAGS, cause you know, thats EXACTLY what she would do if she were reading these blogs!! Please try looking at this at some OTHER way than whatever cracked rear-view you are gazing through. Blogs provide anonymity in alot of senses, so I would tread carefully. You never know if a relative of the person the blog is about is reading or posting, just as you if the record label has an assistant or intern checking blogs such as these all day. Attacking fans with derogatory comments make you seem unstable.

I thought I asked pretty kindly when I said please stop using the degrading term HAGS. And I also said, everyone is entitled to their opinion as long as they are respectful of others'. A comment has no meaning if you just state something but have no favctual basis with which to support your opinion. If you've never been to a Elliott, Chris, Taylor, Kelly, Ruben, Clay, etc. concert please do NOT make references to their fans'.
