Things That Make Me Die Inside (Vol. 15)

Nielson_l Some blog items practically write themselves. I mean, I could express shock and revulsion over the concept of the new British reality show Killing Brigitte Nielsen, or I could just share a couple details from an account in today's issue of The Sun. Essentially, six British folks who thought they were participating in a Greek sailing documentary were led to believe they'd witnessed the murder of actress/Strange Love star Brigitte Nielsen by drug traffickers, before being hauled off to a prison set and being interrogated by actors posing as Greek cops. How exactly are they going to advertise this one? "All the horror of a snuff film! All the psychological damage of a real-life police interrogation of innocent bystanders! All the thrills of watching a fading film star die before your very eyes! Tonight, on Killing Brigitte Nielsen!" Yes, I realize those wacky Brits love to continuously up the ante in the reality-television sweepstakes, but at what point are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse going to ride through the English countryside and wrest control of the nation's airwaves? They're coming soon, don't you think, PopWatchers?

This woman has had all sorts of health issues in the past. Did you ever hear the expression, live and let live? People are sooo judgmental of others. Let her live her life (even if it is a little crazy) and you live yours!! I don't think any one of us is THAT perfect to be putting down others......

From that picture it looks like she died twenty years ago but no one told her.

This is what happens when anything goes. Pathetic! Maybe she should go help out at a local community drama club instead of doing something so degrading just because her film career has become nonexistent. She has joined the ranks of Eric Estrada, Hammer, Charo and the rest of the gang.

It would have been better if they called it "who killed Red Sonja".

And bad as it is, it's not worse than "Armed and Famous" which I thought was a JOKE until they actually aired it.

One last note. Nielson's the sister of the guy from "Cheap Trick" and they are all from Rockford, Illinois where I lived for a while in Highschool. Go Guilford High!

Who ever thought up the idea for that tv show is really twisted.

How can that be legal? Louring people via "Greek documentary" and then terrifying and taking them for interrrogation?
Isn't that called kidnapping?

That sounds hysterical! I would have loved to been on the hoax! Could you imagine if Anna Nicole faked her death and fooled all of us for her reality show!

Judging from that picture, are you sure the killing was faked? Good gravy, I'm thinking the 20 mil Stallone had to pay her to go away back in the 80s was worth every penny, he got off light.

And I thought "The Littlest Groom" was bad!
