Who should die on 'Heroes'?

Jan 29, 2007, 10:17 AM | by Michael Slezak

Categories: 'Heroes', Television

151423__mohinder_l In TV Guide's latest story on Heroes, series creator and executive producer Tim Kring reveals that a regular character, "someone who has been with the show from the very beginning," will pay the ultimate price during February sweeps. And while I'll be shocked (and shaken) if he's planning to off one of my favorites (like Hiro or Nathan or Micah), there's one player in particular whose death would be cause for celebration -- the waffling, whiny Mohinder Suresh (he of the ludicrous dream sequences), who is coincidentally portrayed by the cast's most wooden actor, Sendhil Ramamurthy (pictured)

Every time the guy pops up on my screen, I recall the words of my colleague Dawnie Walton: "Someone is Mo-hindering my ability to enjoy the show!" Seriously, one minute Mohinder is dropping everything to head to America and complete his father's work, the next he's decided it's all a bunch of bunk. He's supposedly paranoid about keeping the heroes' identities out of the wrong hands, and yet he keeps a list of their names and a map of their whereabouts in an apartment that might as well be dubbed Break-in Central. The only constant is his droning, insipid voice-over narration. Plus, with the way Ramamurthy delivers his lines like he's the third banana in a bad high-school production, I always find myself drifting off to the happy place during Mohinder's scenes. So yes, in the Heroes' death pool, the man has got my vote. Are you with me? Or if you were Tim Kring, would you choose to exterminate a different character?

Craig Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 10:28 PM EST

Alright, I suppposssssssssse I should explain why...yes, am in agreement with Mike here...Mohinder, while in the first season he advanced the plot line through information about the heroes themselves, now he only slows things down.

I have not been thrilled with his Spiderman/Fly sideline and it hasn't really been anything other than a sideplot which his character has not warranted.

AND then there is the wishy-washy factor. That man changes sides more than a Rubic's cube...I mean seriously, Charlie Brown has more backbone than Mohinder...

And incidentally, I do believe from here on out, at least in fringe culture, the term "Mohindering" will be in full force because of this character...sheeeeeesh!

Craig Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 10:22 PM EST

Die Mohinder, Die...

Tate Wed, Aug 20, 2008 at 12:22 PM EST

That annoying hispanic chick that bleeds black junk from her eyes. She needs to die. I think her brother was killed already, right? They were SO annoying last season.

ben Wed, Aug 20, 2008 at 12:11 PM EST

on my last comment mohinder dies

ben Wed, Aug 20, 2008 at 12:09 PM EST

i think he should die but he leavs behind a formular witch a boy or girl takes at his death they get a power of water, stone (or earth.), fire and wind(or air.) and he/she thinks their life has turnd around they are good or evil ....????

spencer Wed, May 23, 2007 at 10:24 PM EST

Mohinder should die! He's not interesting at all. However the character I would go back in time to 'off' would be Micah. What a horrid little wretch he is. He should be dropped down a well - with his ass waving mum.

E-Man Fri, Feb 2, 2007 at 09:18 PM EST

It is becoming frustrating reading all of these posts about Niki not having a superpower. Her power is actually SUPERSTRENGTH! And whoever says this isn't a "cool" power should rethink that statement. Don't you know a few people you would love to slap across the hemisphere??

E-Man Fri, Feb 2, 2007 at 09:11 PM EST

The characters most likely to be killed of are: HRG, Jessica, Simone and Zach. I know this because (1) HRG will either be trapped in the cell or killed by Sylar when he escapes. (2) *Spoiler* Kring has confirmed one of the sides of the Niki/Jessica combination will perish completely; which will decide once and for all whether she's a hero or villian. (3) Peter will supposedly lose someone very close to him. (4) *Spoiler* The Zach character will cease to exist in the Heroes Universe after February (hint, hint).

abi Fri, Feb 2, 2007 at 08:43 PM EST

I hope it's Niki/Jessica. Her whole plotline bores me, and I find her "power" to be really lame. It could have been interesting but they wasted the opportunity by not allowing her to find a way to control her superstrength a long time ago.

They could kill Peter and I probably wouldn't care, but I know they won't - they obviously have him pegged as super important. Most of them I could live without. Just leave Hiro and Ando alone and I can take it.

Watch it be Simone or Mrs. Petrelli or someone of little actual importance.

Ms. Bailey Fri, Feb 2, 2007 at 04:38 PM EST

I think that Matt should die~or Claire's father

Lauren Thu, Feb 1, 2007 at 08:58 PM EST

Ok since I ran out of space I will continue. I forgot about little Zach. He could also go to move Claire's story along, but she needs a love interest. Also about my previous question I will expand on that. Hiro(future) said to Peter that "you often said how lost you were in the beginning" seeing as Hiro and Peter have not met yet I was just wondering since no one else I have seen anywhere are asking if saving the cheerleader changed the future. A lot or a little. Ok post away I hope u do:)

Lauren Thu, Feb 1, 2007 at 08:38 PM EST

Mohinder is the narrator he will not go. Nathan will not go since in interviews with the director he has said he will win his campaign and since I believe he is Claire's dad! Peter hopefully will not die seeing as it is not the end of the season and he may be the bomb! Hiro is never going to die:) Claire is going strong! Isaac will probably eventually die. Matt was not in the first episode so he's off the list. Simone may go, but Kring also said that he is developing the love triangle! DL was also not in the fisrt ep. so not him! Micha is too young unless they are going for that. This leaves poor Ando, HRG, and N/J. I think that HRG may go just for a huge shocker, but doubtful. Ando is loveable but will serve a huge story boost for Hiro. I will be sorry 2 see him go! N/J could have one side killed off since Kring also said there would be a winner b/w the 2. So my bets on on the last 2 uh 3.Just a question, do u think the writters have changed their minds since future Hiro came 2 Peter?

Martin Thu, Feb 1, 2007 at 01:47 PM EST

Sayid, on Lost, is from Iraq. Don't forget about Kelly on The Office.

QuinnzMom Wed, Jan 31, 2007 at 04:06 PM EST

Who should go: Nikki/Jess (aka Most Annoying Tramp Ever.)
Who will go: Peter Petrelli (aka I-spout-random-unsubstantiated-plot-forwarding- phrases)

Whose death would make the most sense to the storyline: Sidekick-boy Ando.

lola Wed, Jan 31, 2007 at 02:29 PM EST

Please let it be D.L. You think Mohinder is wooden?! D.L. is practically a tree. I say kill off Matt, too, and his weird-lipped wife. Easy on the botox, sister. Speaking of which, kill off Simone too. She can't act either.

JennyC Wed, Jan 31, 2007 at 12:53 PM EST

What makes sense to me would be the death of Ando. It's a shame since he is such a cool character, but he can't be by Hiro's side all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love to see the duo together. It would be cool if Ando also had a super power.

Michael Wed, Jan 31, 2007 at 03:01 AM EST

God. I hope they kill Simone and Nikki/Jessica. Then they should bring the brown haired girl back to life.

Ruby Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 11:38 PM EST

It will be Ando...or the Petrelli's brother's mother or the wife in the wheel char. None of these characters have powers, and Ando wants to go home so bad..that I think he will...in a body bag.

Will Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 05:35 PM EST

I say wipe out Ali Larters husband. First of all his acting is pretty awful, second he brings nothing to the show, three I wish I could replace his character and lay beside her every night, and four his power sucks. Take him or leave him, I suggest never informing him.

Patty Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 04:48 PM EST

BTW--Mohinder is very hot, but not the only Indian on prime time--are you forgetting that gorgeous Sahid from Lost?

Patty Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 04:45 PM EST

I would agree that Jessica/Nikki ought to go--in prison and not likely to get out. I think Hiro has to stay; I'd like to get rid of Sylar, but then who would be the bad guy? Nathan is also pretty boring. I liked Charlie--wish Hiro would see his powers are not dependent on the sword, but on his confidence and he could really go save her. I actually think it will be Isaac though--we already saw him dead when Hiro went to New York the first time. They have to take the explosion to the last second. I really hope Peter stays--his power is really interesting--he never knows what he will have or when he will get it. I hope Ando stays because he still translates for Hiro and they are the comic relief. I do not believe Mohinder will go--he hasn't really done anything yet, but I think it is time. I think HRG is boring and it is tiring for them to keep making everyone question whether he is bad or good. Also the Haitian guy is getting tiring as well.

Bobby Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 04:42 PM EST

Mohinder would be a good one to get killed off, plus what purpose does he serve? None...and he hasn't been featured in the Nov. 8th NYC explosion...but I really could do without Matt just as well.

Ace Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 04:31 PM EST

And as for who do I think will bite the dust? Ando. Just that look he gave Hiro when Hiro said "that's how we roll" gives me the impression that Ando would not do the same for him. So maybe after an act of cowardice, Ando redeems himself by dying to save Hiro. Possibly opening up the whole, Hiro alone in this huge journey without the one person who has been there with him from the start.

CSM Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 04:25 PM EST

Who do I wish would be offed? The DL/Nikki combo...who do I think would be killed? The Peter/Nathan combo, and here is how it could happen: Peter is going to absorb the powers of radiation man and then in order to prevent the explosion, his brother is going to fly them into outer space where they will both explode and save earth.

Ace Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 04:22 PM EST

To Ring - Um, no. For one who tries to speak like a person with insight into how to make a show, you fail to realize that Hiro is the comedy relief of the show. He lightens up the mood, which is needed given that many of the other characters stories are so serious. Also, most of the audience probably relates to Hiro the best because he is one of the few good guy heroes that embraced his 'cool gift' from the very beginning.

mrsk Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 03:29 PM EST

I would like it to be the Nikki combo. Kill them both please. Oh well. At least one of them.

Ring Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 01:11 PM EST

Kill off Hero and his father and do it in such a way that the sword gets destroyed too.

Most of you here are idiots. The characters you like are the simple ones with "cool" powers and swords. The complex ones which make the story complicated and interesting are the ones you want to eliminate. So quit your whining and enjoy the complicated show that the writers, directors, actors and all the people involved in telivision work hard to bring you. If you are patient I am sure it will all make sense (even to your simple minds) in the end!

Samurai Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 11:40 AM EST

I agree with the lose DL and the kid view. They are slowig down the story. There are zeros not heroes!!!!

Al Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 11:30 AM EST

Get rid of DL. He is so boring and just a horrible actor. His scenes are painful!

vel Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 11:12 AM EST

I hoping that the show will lose Nikki/Jessica. She too dangerous to keep around.

Dee Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 11:12 AM EST

Get rid of crazy Nikki/Jessica or Nathan.

I don't know how they are considered heroes.

Syndra Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 10:47 AM EST

I can't stand Nathan... and Mohinder is really getting annoying. But if I had my choice, it would be that sleezy twit Nikki/Jessica. I can't stand the actress or the character. As for Simone - why all the Simone bashing? She's gorgeous, she's stylish, and she just might have the money to provide the future heroes' league with private jet airplanes and a secret hideout! She adds legitimacy to the show, unlike Nathan who's your typical sleezy politician. Simone's a good character with potential - not all heroes have to have special powers! Look at Ando - he's been right alongside Hiro through all the stuff he's done, and he doesn't have any special powers. I say keep Simone, off Nikki.

Aunt Bonnie Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 10:24 AM EST

SIMONE ROCKS! That's all I have to say about that...
Plus, Mohinder is hot as hell.
We all know Ando has to die at some point in order for Hiro to become 'future strong and confident Hiro.' Duh...

Marc LaFountain Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 09:12 AM EST

I cover the odds on whoch character will die on my blog at:

http://www.marclafountain.com/blog/2007/01/heroes_odds_on_.html

Marc :-)

Jai. Deisel Tue, Jan 30, 2007 at 09:11 AM EST

I don't think they will kill off any main characters, and I hate to say it, but don't you think Ando's death would affect Hiro in the character development area? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE ANDO, but I think it's going to be him or Simone or *crosses fingers* hopefully Parkman's wife (I bet the baby's not his anyway).

Amy Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 07:54 PM EST

I like Mohinder. But Hiro, of course, is my favorite.

I think Simone has served her purpose, and her death would provide an interesting storyline for Peter, and also Mr. Is-akk. Did I mention I love Hiro?

Jennifer Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 06:31 PM EST

I'm voting for Simone. She is completely useless as a character and has little chemistry with Isaac and even less with Peter.

As for Mohinder, it seems like his storyline has been picking up, so I'm tempted to give him until the rest of the season before I finally decide on him.

If I'm being realistic though, I agree they're totally going to do something lame like have Niki kill Jessica.

aa Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 06:26 PM EST

oops i made a mistake earlier, its peter that is the whiner and should bite it if mohinder doesn't. i think nathan's awesome and i love his scenes with hiro. last week when he corrected him on the pronunciation of villian or when hiro calls him flying man? come on that stuff is great.

Stacey Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 04:31 PM EST

I hope it's Nathan. He always seems slimy to me. And those gigantic cheekbones creep me out.

Elise Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 04:27 PM EST

Peter, Nathan, Isaac and Mohinder are all seriously hot. I say kill Simone simply because I'm jealous that two hotties are making googly eyes at her.

Wayne Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 04:16 PM EST

I'm with you, if someone has to go, might as well be that guy, or one of the other non power having people, non of whom, except maybe rena sofer, have made any impression on me, oh and hrg, keep him around

David Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 04:07 PM EST

If anyone is whiny it's Matt. I am tired of the puppy dog look, the whoa is me, my wife is cheating on me. Nikki has no superpower, Jessica has the power, but to me she isn't a hero but a villian. I think it will be HRG. If you watch the commercials for upcoming episodes it looks like Sylar does something to him (light him on fire??).

Joey Jo Jo Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 03:57 PM EST

I'd get rid of Mohinder, Isaac, and DL, because they don't do anything.

steve Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 03:52 PM EST

I, for one, am voting for micah to be axed. He might be the worst child actor on TV - he has one expression through every scene: raised eyebrows with a smirky grin that screams "this is the look my acting coach taught me." Then he delivers his lines with a sing-songy high-pitched delivery that makes me cringe. So, please let it be him...

Karla Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 03:28 PM EST

I've gotten caught up in the show even though it's not great TV - and after reading all of the responses, I'm glad to see that everyone else thinks there's some stinky bad acting, writing, and directing going on in this show.

Does anyone else think it's a sad thing for a show to grab viewers by promising to kill someone? The last death had, like, no effect. Or wait, was it the second to last death?

I wonder if they're going to keep killing heroes until they get high enough overnight ratings? And then when they've got more ad revenues, bring them back one by one after creating a new hero who can bring other heroes back from the dead.

I'm a little tired of the characters being used as game pieces.

Jen Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 03:17 PM EST

Not Zach! He's so cute! How about Simone. She serves to advance the plot by knowing Linderman and all and connecting Peter and Isaac, but other than that she's boring. I can't believe she's got two such yummy men after her.

Lucy Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 03:15 PM EST

The guy can't act his way out of a wet paper bag, but oh my goodness he is fine! I feel all giggly and fourteen everytime he's on the screen. Unfortunately, that's really not good enough reason to keep him around.

(By the way, Nikki does have a superpower not just a split personality -super strength as revealed last week. We've only just seen Jessica use it up until now.)

jonathan Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 03:10 PM EST

I really hope it's ali larter. she's aweful and her story is so boring.

SJ Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 03:07 PM EST

"Mo-hindering"! HA! I love it! *knee slap*

Gregg Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:46 PM EST

It should be Hiro.

No, seriously! Picture it: at the climax of the season, FutureHiro pops up and sacrifices himself. That way, every step Hiro takes might be the one that takes him to his death and ultimate sacrifice. Plus, it would be like the comic books the character loves so much.

maribel Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:40 PM EST

I completely agree with Andrew about it being Simone and how it works for Isaac and Peter characters. It has to be, because everyone else is needed!

viki Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:29 PM EST

I hope it's Nikki/ikkiN. Say it with me now: a split personality is not a superpower!

Alex Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:25 PM EST

How much have the future predictions been changed so far? Not very. That means that Issac is in trouble. But I think I'd be the most shocked if Peter died.

Daarlee Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:25 PM EST

Although I could do without Mohinder, my bet is that it will be Sylar who dies during the February sweeps. A Heroes blog I like is at http://heroes-spoilers.blogspot.com/ and they don't have a prediction on it. Seems like a well kept secret. I remember Sylar being called a "guest start" which seems to imply he is temporary and to die. But maybe that's just misdirection.

Ceballos Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:16 PM EST

Kring said, "Some people will be upset (when they learn who dies)."....that pretty much guarantees it won't be Mohinder :(

Exasperated Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:02 PM EST

I think it should be the whole Nikki/Jessica/Michah/DL group. They're not intriguing as characters. DL is not compelling, if I wanted to watch a kid on tv, I'd tune into Disney, and Ali Larter's possible harelip is distracting. I really couldn't care less about an evil single mom, her boring/criminal ex husband and her precocious, annoying kid. Give more screen time to HRG and Sylar!

The Gunzlingr Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:02 PM EST

They better kill Simone, she is pretty much worthless. Mohinder is a close second.

Nose Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:00 PM EST

I think (know) it will be Zach. My superhero power is being able to tell the future (or read spoilers online).

Jael Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 02:00 PM EST

They should kill off the incompetent female cop.

Kat Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 01:36 PM EST

I would be very upset if it was HRG or Nathan (the older brother - people seem to often confuse them). They're two of the best actors on the show and make those around them even better.

Kat Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 01:30 PM EST

Yes, I'm with you Slezak! I can't stand MoHo!! Nice-looking dude, baaaaaad actor. Lame character, too! Please let it be Mohinder!

fredric Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 01:22 PM EST

Anyone but Claire!

Bucky Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 01:20 PM EST

I agree. Mohinder is horendous. The acting is so bad it's almost funny - almost. I wouldn't mind him biting the dust, but he has to be around to complete his father's work. I think conventional wisdom says that it'll be Simone because a number of the Heroes have some connection to her and would want to avenge her death ultimately. If it is a person with powers, my guess would be Isaac. He's served his purpose - he's shown us what's going to happen. Sure, he might be able to predict further things but we can deal with that when it comes. I just hope it's not Peter or Matt Parkman.

Emma Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 01:11 PM EST

In the original versio nof the pilot, Isaac killed himself and cut off his hands (not really sure how he pulles that off, but it was in the extended preview they showed on nbc.com) So if he was already supposed to die, I'm cool with that happening. Having said that, I think Peter has got to be one of the most annoying characters on television and his powers suck so I think it would be great if he really did explode.

Jeff Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 01:03 PM EST

I think it will be Simone. She has very little to do, and Mohinder is key to getting the group together. They have said that his character is going to take a stronger stance in the upcoming episodes.

CM Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:58 PM EST

What about the Haitian? It's a possiblity that he could bite the dust for trying to help Claire.

Mac Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:48 PM EST

Lisamama, there is still Parminder Nagra on "ER"...

My reading of the interview was that Kring was suggesting that the victim would be someone without powers. The four who appeared in the pilot were Mohinder, Simone, HRG, and Ando. Of the four, I'm sure it's not HRG. Ando is just a guess, really.

Wade Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:47 PM EST

I'm reeeeaaaaallllly hoping it's Mohinder. Everything Slezak said is dead-on. I hope it's not Ando. As far as Mohinder being the Prof. X of the group. I say give that mantle to HRG or someone else, anyone else (heck, why not Ando for that matter?). Anything to save me from that Ramamurthy's insipid performance.

Jake Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:45 PM EST

Slezak, you're slay-ing me as usual. I couldn't have said it any better than you. Too bad HRG didn't take care of the job last week.

Joel Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:31 PM EST

Mohinder can go. His acting is awful.

Brian Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:30 PM EST

As far as wooden actors - you needn't look further than Ali Larter. She doesn't have the acting chops to pull off this dual role at all. She could take lessons from the much better, and much prettier, girls from Galactica. Grace Park and Tricia Helfer pull off mulitilple personalities exceptionally well. Ali Larter isn't in the same league as these women.

Kill Nikki/Jessica. Who would even notice?

RedRidingHood Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:14 PM EST

I want to see Nikki, Issac and Simone all kick the heroic bucket. I would be a happy fan to see them gone. I would be really sad if Ando or Zach are killed, but I can see that happening too.

PT Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:12 PM EST

I would like to see DL & Micah
gone. I am not seeing where they fit in at all. And they wouldn't be missed. Simone could go unmissed and Claire's stepmother should be on "the list" as goners.

Matthew Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:11 PM EST

Truthfully, given how the story line is developing, I cannot see HRG, Hiro, or Peter (50/50) dying just yet -- perhaps by seasons end, but not February sweeps.

Fatima Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:11 PM EST

BOOOOO JASON! BOOO!

Matthew Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:08 PM EST

Now really, if we follow the story we know so far, Issac CANT die because he writes the comic that brings Hiro to the adventure at hand.

Adam Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:03 PM EST

It CANNOT be Nathan. So cute! It really should be Mohinder. Maybe it'll be something stupid like Jessica dies but Nikki is alive.

GeeMoney Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:03 PM EST

It will probably be Niki. She's already in jail, and really can't get out since she committed all of the murders. Plus, her hero power really serves no purpose. Her other self Jessica is bad! How can you root for someone who's so bad all of the time?

Jason Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 12:02 PM EST

If we're talking about annoying characters, we need to start talking about Hiro. Sure he was fun for an episode or two, but his performance has quickly gone from energetic enthusiasm for having a super-power to an annoying idiot-child who I can't wait to be rid of.

Fatima Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:59 AM EST

Kill Nikki! She has nothing to do with the rest of the story as far as I can see. They devote way to much time to her.

Then again I'd rather no one die than have her die. But its gotta be her or Mohinder.

Chaddogg Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:53 AM EST

Whoever dies on Heroes, I know who killed them....

Yep, that's right. Jack Bauer. Reaching across networks to continue his unprecedented killing spree.

Andrew Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:52 AM EST

It's 100% going to be Simone. She's not that useful alive except to continue some lingering, unrealized love-triangle plot. Dead, she's a catalyst for Isaac to go nuts, and Peter to lose it . . . and go nuclear.

Missy Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:38 AM EST

I love Mohinder - he is the hotness. I hope they don't kill him off.

Nick R Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:37 AM EST

I agree with a few of the posters here. I expect that it'll be Nathan who dies saving NY from his brother. He's always been kinda "meh" for me, as is Mohinder. But it'll have more of an emotional impact if Nathan bites it.

Sue Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:33 AM EST

Oh, I am so with you - Mohinder is a yawn-fest. I seriously hope they kill his character off. If not him, I vote for Simone. She has little purpose except to be the link between several characters - now that they've met (Peter, Nathan, Hiro, Isaac), she's worthless. Enough with the moony eyes, already.

Marc Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:32 AM EST

I think Nathan will go when he tries to save his brother. And let's face it... the power of flight alone is pretty boring.

MeNY Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:32 AM EST

While I would prefer it if Mohinder got knocked off, I think it's Isaac. After all, Hiro couldn't save Charlie; I don't think he can keep Isaac from dying either.

LisaMama Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:29 AM EST

Mohinder may be boring at the moment, but he's hot and the only Indian character on primtime!
P.S. Please don't kill Matt. or Peter. or Hiro. Nikki/Jessica can go.

aa Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:27 AM EST

mohinder definitely gets my vote but if not nathan is a whiner and can also go. hands off: nikki and her whole family, hrg, cheerleader, hiro and ando.

I would much rather see Mohinder go rather than HRG. They could make HRG the Professor X figure for the show.

David Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:22 AM EST

Mohinder is my choice. Every scene he is in just moHINDERS the storyline.

Justine Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:16 AM EST

HRG is most definitely going to die, although I'm going to be greatly saddened by it! Sylar is going to break out finally and kill him, and that is going to free up Claire to go find her real parents and meet up with the rest of the heroes. Everyone is going to be surprised, and isn't that what they want for sweeps?

Friday Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:13 AM EST

I wish Nicky/Jessica would go. Frankly, her character bores me, she has stupid ridiculous lines, and the actress who portrays her is pretty bad. I think Mo is very easy on the eyes and he doesn't bore me...I'd like to see more from him. My favorite is Peter by far...Micah reminds me too much of the kid on LOST who has mysterious powers.

brandonk Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:11 AM EST

I think it's going to be Ando...he seems to be a little superfluous now that Hiro has hooked up with some other heroes.

Ceballos Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:04 AM EST

By the way, Binky..."Exposition Man"...nice!

I agree with the person that said it would be Isaac...right now, it seems like he's gotten himself together a bit, which I liked seeing and is great for his character, but not so much for future dramatic storylines.

Stacey Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:04 AM EST

Mohinder is a good answer, but isn't he there at the big explosion so if it's someone before hand. I say Zack (Claire's best friend), the actor supposely got on the producers bad side and he has a new project coming up. And more reason for Claire to disconnect from her home life, if something happens to Zack. If not Zack, then Simone. She's not needed. And could die easily.

Rich Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:02 AM EST

I'll bet Jessica "kills" Nikki. The show needs more bad guys with powers.

Ceballos Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:02 AM EST

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...sorry, I instantly fell asleep when I saw that photo of Mohinder (same way I do during any of his scenes). Slezak is 100% right that this guy should be voted off the show, though I doubt he'll actually be the one to go.

Sheky Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:01 AM EST

I think it will be the Nathan Patrelli who gets it. He will probably grab Peter and fly him up into the atmosphere and make the explosion happen up there in order to save the city.

Kristy Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM EST

Don't dis Greg Grunberg's Matt! I loved him on "Alias" and "Felicity" and only wish his part was written with more depth and wit.

Jenn Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:59 AM EST

As long as it's not Hiro, Peter or Ando(not sure why it'd be him anyway), I'll be ok!

MJ Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:58 AM EST

We have to consider the future sequences we've seen. In the "exploding man" visions, Mohinder is alive. When Hiro went back in time to meet Isaac, he had been killed by Sylar. Maybe Hiro has altered the future already though, or some of the visions aren't correct. --because I doubt Nathan is really the exploding man. Next to Hiro, he's the one who takes being a Hero most seriously.

sarahz Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:53 AM EST

I thought it was supposed to be one of the Heros that dies?? Therefore I dont think it will be Mohinder, because they havent even answered if he has any powers. The same with Simone.

Thataboy Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:52 AM EST

THANK YOU, SLEZAK! I have been saying from the beginning that this is THE worst actor on any show on the air. Plus, his character is written very poorly (though frankly, while I enjoy the show, the writing IS sophomoric and devoid of wit and subtlty).

He is Mohindering my ability to watch too (good one) :) KILL HIM.

Binky Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:46 AM EST

Yeah, I liked the "international" aspect of the show - the fact that it wasn't just about Americans - but Mohinder is a dud of a character. Too bad. I don't think it's really the actor's fault, the character is just not well-written.

If he had a superhero name, it would be "Exposition Man."

Mac Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:45 AM EST

Given the number of times I've said, "Shut up, Mohinder!", I can't help but agree. But I think Ando is going to be the victim.

AJH Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:43 AM EST

Ha ha Jakeem! Funny comment! :-)

As for who will die... Will it even resonate with us, as the show keeps adding more (and more) characters and further deepens its mythology? We should be more concerned the whole darn thing doesn't crash and burn.

Lane Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:43 AM EST

Wow, that caught me by surprise. I always enjoy Mohinder's voice over. In fact, it's one of my favorite parts of the show...

bburlew Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:39 AM EST

Simone-boring, boring, boring, kill her off so Peter and Isaac can hook up

mark in nyc Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:37 AM EST

While I agree that Mo is a bad character I was surprised when Is aw the actor on Leno last week and found out he is from Chicago and almost has a Chicago accent.
His chracter is uneeded though

Stef Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:36 AM EST

Ouch that was harsh! I don't think he's a bad actor. It is true that his storyline is the most boring, but I thought it picked up last week. I would eliminate Simone. She doesn't seem to add anything to the show really.

paige Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:35 AM EST

yea mohinder is booooooooooring! and isaac is disgusting. please keep your shirt on...

Sven Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:35 AM EST

As a nonfan (have watched it, and it's fine for what it is, but not my cup of tea), I believe he will Peter's love interest (the black woman). This will continue to help push Peter's brother to start using his powers.

Mohan Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:32 AM EST

Mohinder and Milo should go -- I was so excited to see a South Asian character at the centre of the show, but man this guy is one terrible actor. The only time Milo/Jesse and Mohinder come to life is in their scenes togather.... maybe it would work if they made them a couple! They *do* look hot together...

Dre Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:32 AM EST

I agree wholeheartedly Slezak! I love Heroes but I always tune out during Mohinder's scenes, he's so boring.

ryan Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:32 AM EST

Since Mohinder is the Professor X of the group (albeit a horrible version), it would seem weird to kill him off. Though if Sylar were to mentally tear the flesh off of him in bullet-time, um, that would exactly depress me.

Slammy Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:30 AM EST

The fat cop has to go. He bores me. Course he wasn't on at the very beginning so we know it's not him.

By the way, the only storyline more tedious than Mohinder's is the whole when-will-Nathan-embrace-his-powers bit. Just fry already, frying man.

Brad Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:28 AM EST

I like the show, but A LOT of the acting is bad!

Kill Micah...PLEASE! The way he talks and acts is so annoying for a 5 year old.

Suz Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:28 AM EST

Right on Slezak!! Mohinder is soooooo booooring. His voice puts me to sleep. He is quite nice to look at, but a little snapshot of him in the corner of the screen would have as much personality and wouldn't interrupt the enjoyment factor. Kill him off!!

Dominique L. Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:26 AM EST

But he is massively hot! That kinda helps me ignore his acting...

Jakeem Mon, Jan 29, 2007 at 10:24 AM EST

Mohinder is just fine. I would eliminate the psychic painter Isaac Mendez. And it will be funny if he doesn't see it coming!
