Björk + Timbaland = ?

Mega-producer Timbaland is definitely feelin' the love these days (well, maybe not from these dudes). Continuing on his quest to work with virtually every singer on the planet, Timbaland has reportedly teamed up with Björk to record some tracks for her upcoming album. Well boys and girls, I think we may be in for a real treat. Björk is always pushing the envelope and experimenting with new places to take her already eclectic and wide-ranging sound. Plus she's already collaborated with stellar producers over the years and her trip-hop leanings have been apparent on records past.

However, I hope hooking up with Timba doesn't coincide with yet another image overhaul that so many artists have taken to lately. Is Björk a ''Promiscuous Girl'' about to turn it ''Loose?'' (Sorry, but I couldn't resist.) I doubt it, but you never know. Are you excited to hear what comes from this quirky pair's field trip to the studio?

Just hope Timbaland does a better job than with Nelly Furtados record, "Do It" leaves a sour taste http://timbalandtempest.ytmnd.com/

oh...this is freaking awesome news! I cannot wait to hear what they create.

This is gonna be great! Bjork would never do something as lame as Promiscuous. I would love to see a return to some of the more danceable tunes like Big Time Sensuality or Alarm Call.

This is the absolute BEST news I've heard in a long time and I feel genuinely excited about it. Yeah, JT and Nelly Furtado are pretty cool, but I always feel like Timbaland kinda carries both of them a little bit. Bjork, however, is 100% her own artist and I CAN'T FLIPPIN' WAIT until I get to hear what the two of them do. Timbaland is absloutely the best producer out there right now and Bjork is a true original. AWESOME.

This will be massıve!!! She had collaborated with ?uestlove on Medulla
and that resulted in some very kool stuff. Maybe Timbaland can take her back to her Post days and away from the quirky abstract she seems to be involved in since her pairing with Matthew Barney(it's beautiful n all but i miss the Björk which i can dance to).

Jeebus, SO excited about this. Cannot wait!

Bjork would never become another sell-out. She'll be the one keepin' Timbaland on his toes. I anticipate awesome-ness!

Coolest. Pairing. EVER.

I think it's fine. Tim has used Bjork for inspiration in the past and it sounded great. I can see them as kindred.

I'm SO tired of all the pop singers going hip-hoppy. It seems like they're all doing it...Justin, Gwen, Mariah, etc. Christina's and Madonna's latest CDs were pretty good, but still. When I heard MIKA's stuff, I practically had a joygasm!

I hope it is more than a series of groans and shreiks, like her last album. She needs to get back to her "Post" glory days!

Bjork's the best thing to come out of Iceland since Brenavin was invented. I can't wait to see what direction the eccentric/frequently nude singer goes this time around...
