From today's headlines at People.com:

Eva Longoria: I'm Not Starring in Lesbian Movie

Alrighty then!

Tim Thu, Nov 16, 2006 at 01:27 PM EST

Just ignore her. She'll fade away soon enough.

Liza, a few years ago, a buddy sent me an email link that led to a fake CNN web page. The article said that some scientific study had shown how women who swallow their partner's semen are less likely to get breast cancer than other women. The irony of this fake article is that a lot of people believed it, including comedian Eddie Griffin, who's ignoramous self actually referred to it in his act. Do a search on the topic or hit up any of the mythbuster type sites to see the actual fake article itself. Or better yet, forward it to a few hundred people and then figure out who actually believes it...

Too bad it didn't say: "Eva Longoria: I'm Not Starring in ANY Movie."

Liza Wed, Nov 15, 2006 at 01:31 PM EST

What do yo mean "fake CNN article"?

Ep Sato Wed, Nov 15, 2006 at 10:49 AM EST

This is like that fake CNN article that talked about how women who swallow semen won't get breast cancer. Someone probably overheard speculation and took it as fact.

What was probably said: "wouldn't it be cool is Beyonce and Eva Longoria did a love scene together?" What the person who over heard it wanted to hear "isn't it cool that Beyonce and Eva are doing a love scene together?" And the rumor mill was off!

Hell, I can't spell persona.

I don't mean to sound racist or sexist, but has Eva Longoria's character on Desperate Housewives always seemed like a horny and cliched oversexed latina? And is the presona of this actress far behind?

Ellipsian Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 07:01 PM EST

Thanks, Amber. It will be even funnier when she finds a stocky, 6 foot 1 gay man squeezing into her favorite Versace gown! I suspect the hair braiding will go about as well...

And welcome to posting at PopWatch! It's addictive, I tell ya.

Eva is the wind beneath my cheeks.

Lorenzo Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 05:41 PM EST

Let's imagine for a second that this was true. That, in fact, Eva and Beyonce were going to star in a all-female "Brokeback". Can you really imagine those two divas acting side-by-side? Beyonce would be smiling way too much into the camera like a mentally challeged person (I can't be the only who notices this) or she'll be dancing around like she's having a seziure (watch every one of her videos if you need an example).

And Eva Longoria and DRAMA do not belong in the same sentence. So, I'm not even going to start with her. The only thing good about this movie would probably be the "love" scenes. And those "love" scenes would be so water down, it would be like watching flies do it.

Bree Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 05:13 PM EST

did it ever occur to anyone that maybe she was just answering a question probed to her, rather than her going out of her way to make a statement?

A simple no would have sufficed

Madeleine Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 04:54 PM EST

Hee hee...is there a school for all these actresses who DESPERATELY crave CONSTANT attention by the media over nothing??? Wow, that school must have lots of attendees....Jennifer A., Paris, Jessica & Ashley, Lindsay......

Amber Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 04:54 PM EST

Ellipsian,
LOL! I never use IM speak but your comment was really funny.

JillyRo Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 04:51 PM EST

Another soundbite brought to you by....the Jennifer Aniston School of People We Don't Care About Who Protest Too Much.

Fatima Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 04:39 PM EST

damn

Lorenzo Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 04:25 PM EST

(In Homer Simpson Style) Mmm..... Eva Longoria and Beyonce naked in bed together. *Drooling*

Uh-Oh. I need to find some tissue.

brandonk Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 03:52 PM EST

...Not that there's anything wrong with that.

chardonna Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 03:48 PM EST

did it ever occur to anyone that maybe she was just answering a question probed to her, rather than her going out of her way to make a statement?

snarky Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 03:32 PM EST

She doeth protest too much....hmmm

Joey Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 03:27 PM EST

Like that wasn't ridiculously obvious, the quote had beyonce saying something about this wonderful novel finally being brought to film... Do you REALLY think beyonce reads? Let alone something like this? ;) I had it pegged for gossip a while ago

Ed Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 03:11 PM EST

haha, that's too funny!

Now that we've dispelled that rumor, can we talk about a real movie that's in the works - SEX AND THE CITY!

shelby Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 02:59 PM EST

Good. So sick of her...

Jennie Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 02:54 PM EST

Wow -- paranoid much?

False rumors about future celebrity projects abound. But this one she feels is important to adamantly deny?

Ellipsian Tue, Nov 14, 2006 at 02:27 PM EST

Me neither, Eva! Man, I've been saying FOREVER how much we have in common and this just clinches it! So when can we start braiding each other's hair and sharing clothes?
