WATCH SCRUBS!!!

Haven't seen any news about it out there, but whether the show continues or not depends on if Zach Braff decides he wants to do movies (I think his contract is up) and if the ratings are good enough, they'll keep going with or without him. They're starting out with three pregancies; what happens after that is anybody's guess.

Hey EW, how about showing a sitcom so love for once and do a cover story for Scrubs? I mean, you have to take a break from hyping Lost, Grey's and Desperate Housewives at some point.

Yeah, seriously...i was looking forward to reading something on the new season of Scrubs, and all I basically get is a space-filler.

Is this the last season? What's gonna happen? What guest stars are lined up? I love this show!

even if they're not on their game, it's funnier than 99% of what's on. Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother are the two best comedies on television...

No - this is important. It has HUGE implications. And I hope the producers and writers of all shows see it.

TV is a powerful medium that affects the storytelling primate. We do watch carefully and model ourselves after what we see (or avoid behaviors we observe to be unworkable) - it's a primate survival technique.

But in children and especially teenagers, whose brain development is still in process, the ability to completely organize input isn't totally there. So a show like Jackass might look fun and commendable. Or dropping an anvil on someone's head might look like a fabulous goof.

Or dressing like a TV character (or all of them, considering that every show - no matter its subject matter, now has trophy display women as a central feature). TV is overwhelmingly powerful and overwhelmingly central to American culture. Congrats to the writers and producers who try to wield that power in a responsible and ethical way.

And shats to the ones who don't.

Such a tease. Here I thought you were writing about one of my favorite shows on the air (WHEN IT'S ON THE AIR), and you give me something I couldn't care less about.

Everyone out there: Watch Scrubs when it comes back on November 30. And then watch it again, because it takes a week or two to get into the characters and their relationships, like it does on most great shows. When these guys are on their game, it is one of the funniest, and I mean fall down, bust-a-gut funniest things on television. If they're not on their game, well, it's still better than 75% of what's on. This show deserves your time, plain and simple. Why the ratings aren't higher, I'll never know and Nielsen needs to explain that to me. So watch the show!!!!
