'Arrested Development': All day, every day!

Let me get a hallelujah (GOB fans, sing it with me!): Arrested Development is ONLINE! Okay, it's just the first five episodes that you're getting, but beggars most certainly cannot be choosers. FYI: MSN has broken each episode into three segments, and don't you worry, you're getting commercials between them. However, the streaming quality is pretty darn good, so you won't be waiting for hours while the segments buffer and stream, and buffer and stream and some more. All right, enough of this. Back to my Arrested tea party!

Hey! They posted more episodes!

EP Sato Sun, Nov 26, 2006 at 03:28 AM EST

In the last episode, Ron Howard said something like "I can't imagine this working as a show. But as a movie, maybe..."

Firefly and Family Guy got movies, the latter of which helped revive the series. And the Futurama went from straight to dvd productions to a now upcoming revive on Comedy Central. From old Potwatch (fruedian slip) posts, I seem to recall the head of the series saying that he didn't plan to bring it back on Showtime or HBO as had been rumored, but as a wanna-be Bluth family member, I'll hold out all hope it will come back with fresh eps someday.

AHHHH! my fingers! You cut off my F**king fingers!

You forget that Fox corporate doesn't care about good tv or getting awards. Fox cares only about ad revenue, and unfortunately, AD wasn't getting enough.

I LOVE this show (and I bought the whole series on DVD last time I worked at Fox so I can still watch it), and agree that cancelling it was a truly boneheaded move.

I'm very glad it's available online, too!

Yay!

Fox made the biggest little mistake of their lives.

They should just go make out with men in Reno. BTW, how much do you think Fox can make doing that?

I LOVE(D) this show. One of the only comedies to which I frequently laugh out loud. I miss the Bluth's!

...and that's why you don't cancel your best shows, FOX!!!

Huzzah!!!

While I'm able to enjoy all 53 episodes on DVD, it's always good to hear about new exposure to the show. Traffic at the fansite I frequent (TheOP ... dot com) remains pretty strong, which to me shows support continues for the greatest TV show in the history of mankind. Here's hoping that the talked-about movie one day becomes a reality!

It's a wonderful program!

Best show ever...period.

Dear Cast/Crew of AD,

I owe you a huge apology. I wasn't there when you needed me. I didn't tune in during your initial run. Now you are gone, and all I have are re-runs on G4 to remember you by. I'm sorry I let you down.

Love,
A (latent) Arrested Development Fan

My sentiments exactly Victor, although I was almost spared that whole Claygate thing, and just when I was starting to like Rosie again (Thanks a lot Slezak!). I saw the AD thing while I was at work but being a good corporate employee I didn't watch it (or believe it!), so I'm glad that EW is confirming it's real!! Fun Sexy Time indeed.

Just when it seemed this whole week had already went straight to hell (Kramergate! Claygate! The passing of Master Altman! ..and it's ONLY Tuesday!!), along comes this little light of mine.. Thank you, MSN!!xoxo..

Don't forget that the show is also syndicated on the G4 channel. They just finished the end of the series and are back to replaying from Season 1. I am holding out hope that this show will do like Futurama n' Family Guy and will garner enough "post mortem" fans to get it put back on the air. Once we save AD, it's back to the mission of bringing back Firefly...

What makes me happier is that the videos can be seen in Canada. Fun sexy time for me!
