PLEASE - get rid of Elizabeth Hasselbeck. What is she famous for? The survivor show? Fashion? Fitness?? She is on the show because of the exe producer standing by everyday. This is the only reason. Another extreme right person. The woman behaves like a spoiled teenage "mean" girl. Her immature facial expressions really need to be addressed. She is now showing a picture of herself with Bush and the Queen of England. How did she get to a function like that - because it was good publicity for the Bush Admin.. I love the show but have a difficult time seeing this squeaky voiced - shallow woman voice her black and white views about the Government. PLEASE go on a LONG maternity leave.

I am an Australian viewer of the view and must say that if EH is a typical example of a republican then wow are there problems in your country. I avidly followed your 2008 election (and along with 1000's of other Aussies am thrilled at Obama's win) but never once in watching EH rant/chat have I been unable to discern an analytical comment regarding the GOP. I think that liberal minded folk are perhaps more able to see/express the good and bad in the contenders of both parties. By the way I have visited your country and admire the get up an go attitude that prevails. However, the shock of so many street living people/families broke my heart. The richest country in the world and they have to sleep in cars? Something is not right there!! To my mind EH comes across as a heartless selfish person. I was absolutely thrilled that Elisabeth had to eat it. While I do watch The View, her constant interruptions with inaccurate information, was maddening at best.The many times Whoopie had to tell her she was incorrect;while I am all for a healthy discussion, at least get your information correct. More often than not, solid knowledge comes with life's experiences, and Elisabeth hasn't been around long enough, to pontificate the way she does. I never really liked the View; I just never thought that the show represented the point of view of the average American. I do find it funny that Elisabeth Hassel...whatever it is; uses politics to hide the fact that she is really a racist. I think she needs to support her point of view better; instead of breaking down into tears every time she cannot give an educated reason for why she believes a certain way. I really just think it is time for the whole damn show to be put to bed. I mean Elisabeth's Obama Kool Aid comment was enough for me to decide that she is a racist. It would be better for the show if she just wears a shirt that says, “I am not a racist; I have two minority friends.” The simple fact is Elisabeth is not very smart but I guess all her survivor training has kept her from getting voted off the View's Island. If she supports the war so much, why doesn't she just shave her head and join the army. She would probably throw a temper tantrum and get kick out the army though; well at least her bald head would draw attention away from her stupid comments.

I have always enjoyed the View, and enjoyed everyone's opinions- until very recently. I am against things that Elisabeth says she's against, and for things that she's for, BUT I am willing to listen to everyone's opinion, and I want to know why they believe the way they do. I have had a lot of life experience, and I feel she has had minimal life experience. I would love to see someone on there more like myself and many others who are more conservative, but also thoughtful and aren't just forming an opinion based on what some talking head told me was the truth based on their experience. Also, I can't just tell her to go live a little, b/c you really have to figure that out on your own. I do feel that Sherry is the person who is filling that role, and developing her confidence, so I applaud her and encourage her.
I also hope that Elisabeth's eyes are opened to what is going on with her- best wishes.

I never miss this show but I must admit I am getting tired of listening to Elizabeth day in and day out preaching her opinion...There is no black and white with Elizabeth...I don't mean that ethnically...she is not open to any opinion but her own voice. She overtalks everyone and I compliment Whoopi on how she handles her. I do hope she gets replaced with a more refined and open-minded person. She is rattling everyone's nerves and I can see how Barbara sometimes wants to calm her but to no avail. Sometimes I feel that Barbara is on pins and needles when Elizabeth takes off on her ranting.. I have not made a decision yet as to who the better man/woman would be to fill the Presidential position but Elizabeth is definitely not helping that decision. REPLACE HER!!!

The View is supposed to be a show that gives everyone a right to their own opinion, right? I myself would vote for John McCain over Barack Obama. Not over race or anything such as that, but for that fact that I think McCain is wiser than Obama. McCain is older and more experienced, with age comes wisdom. I think that McCain/Palin is a wise choice for the american people to decide on. Now, I'm not trying to say that anyone who wants to vote for Obama is wrong, I'm simply stating my own opinion on the election. =)
As for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, she does go a bit overboard at times and she does become pretty hostile. But, I think every one of the ladies of The View are to a point themselves. Elisabeth does get on my nerves sometimes, as I'm sure she does with other people as well, but she still gives her opinion on the given subject and I admire her for that. That's why, in this country, we have the Bill of Rights, which under the First Amendment we have Freedom of Speech.

I listen to The View on my tv-band radio at work. I don't enjoy listening to Elizabeth! She is a whining,opinionated air-head, and thinks her view is the only view that is right!! Where did this woman grow up at????

The reason that some of you are saying you will not watch "The View" anymore because of Elizabeth is because you know she is right. Stop being so close minded. Everybody is entitled to their own view. Different strokes for different folks. My views are similar to Elizabeth's views, but that does not mean that I hate the other women, because of their views. I like to hear other people's views. Isn't that what the show is all about? Different strokes for different folks.

I do appreciate the conservative point of view on "The View" even though I'm a democrat. I do relate to Elisabeth on several "mommy" issues, and I do feel that the other gals tend to dismiss her opinion and cut her off at times. What I do have a problem with is that she is extremely touchy and defensive about any political topic that's brought up. And regarding the last comments posted, I don't see how anyone can say that Barb & Co. attacked John McCain. They are asking the tough questions that everyone else lets him skirt around, and they're not going to let him off with an answer that's not really an answer. Go ladies!! and Thanks! And as far as Elisabeth dissing (without saying her name) Michelle Obama at Cindy McCain's soiree, that was just trashy and in poor taste. I expected more.

After the McCain attack by the ladies of The View (this does not include you), I will no longer be a viewer of The View. They did not even show him a little respect and were hostile. The questioning ("You are going to make me a slave again") was ridiculous. I was particularly disappointed in Barbara Walters. She is supposedly a professional and she was hostile. This is a man that spent years fighting for our country and freedom and five years in a prison camp so that people like Joy, Barbara and Whoopi can sit comfortably and safely. I was truly disappointed in your show and you have lost a faithful viewer. All they have accomplished is that I will definitely vote for the McCain/Palin ticket. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my opinion and I hope to see you on another show.

I am so sick and tired of watching Elisabeth defend herself on a daily basis to the other 3 Democratic liberals on the show. I thought it would get better when loud mouth Rosie left the show, but with Whoopie and Sherry riding the political coat tails of Obama and Joy's semi-ridiculous approach to the world, poor Elisabeth is constantly having to defend her point of view (which I might add, isshared by other American people). Give the girl a break! She continues to battle with people who have no clue about the election and speak about the military as id they know what it's like to be a part of it. As a military wife, I thank God the View has someone on their show that actually represents some of our thoughts and opinions! Rock on Elisabeth !!!!!!

I have had enough of Elizabeth. She really crossed the line with the comments that she made about Michelle Obama.Her behavior was rude and very unprofessional. The comment was inappropriate and in poor taste. It is one thing to endorse a candidate, but Elizabeth takes it to a new level. Her presence on the makes it difficult to watch.

This Fox News puppet cannot stay on topic and really behaves as if her opinion is the only correct one. I stopped watching the show long time ago. Even Barbara told her live, "you're not listening, you're just talking"...which is so true, but why is she still there? I don't understand why someone like Barbara does not get it. Elisabeth needs to be booted off the show. If you are going to argue about something, know your facts Elisabeth and try gaining some knowledge about a topic or celebrity so you don't sabotage the interview, but wait, watching you on TV is fun because I get to see you make an ass of yourself live over and over again.

Like everyone I am amazed that Elisabeth is still on the view. For one, she has no brain, she talks stupid and I believe she is a very racist person. I am white, and I can see the hatred she has for Obama, she loves to bring him down, though she prefers Mccain, but when Clinton won W.Va, she was very happy. I really can't stand her. At first I felt bad for her because she's so simple minded. I thought 'she's just trying to make her voice heard,' but it didn't take long for me to realize she feels her opinion is the only opinion.
