Children in Africa could have been fed for what it cost to make Jessica's craptastic "video" (which is in quotes because it in NO WAY compliments the song)... Sad just sad... Well at least you know Eva Longhoria cashed her check right after she stepped out of that roller rink (or maybe she has direct deposit and that's why she smiled at the vid's end)...

Jessica's song not only is bad but the fact that she feels the only way to sell her video is to deep throat an ice cream or like all over a man's face is disgusting. She has reached an all time low. Her 15 minutes are over. I used to be a huge Jessica fan, but since the release of her video, I have to say...I am swaying to Nick's side. He has real talent. I have to give the edge to Jessica. I just find it light and catchy, just fluffy fun and the video's cute. As for Fergie's, well, just not feeling the song all that much and it's a bit too raunch for me. Eh, both look great though!

I caught BOTH videos yesterday. I don't know why, but I actually still really like the Jessica Simpson song, "A PUBLIC AFFAIR", but was kinda saddened to see the video rip-off Madonna's "SORRY". I still don't hear how the song sounds like "HOLIDAY", and I'm a DJ, but the video definitely has "SORRY" written all over it. Andy Dick actually has his OWN hair color for once, is that not entertaining enough!? LOL And apparently Eva is from TX, & is a pal of Jessica's, but I'm thinking Christina Milian agreed to be in this video since she won't be making any of her OWN lately since she just got dropped from Def Jam last month. A good will gesture such as this, means EPIC, who Jessica now records for,might be looking to sign Christina??? I still like the song...

Now, unto Fergie's mess. I love Fergie, I've loved her and supported her ever since she was the lead singer (and blonde) in the 90's pop trio Wild Orchid, & continued so in the Black Eyed Peas. I've hung out with her a few times, she's even got me drunk, well when I was under the age of 21. I like her, I DO, but this "London Bridge" song is TRASH. I just don't like it, & completely didn't expect this from her. She CAN SING & HOLD A MELODY. I'm hoping the next single highlights these facts. As far as the video, it'll have a long shelf life on TRL, and I guess those two girls strutting with her are supposed to be Fergie's version of Gwen Stefani's Asian female mafia?

People criticize Jessica for ripping off Holiday, and yet no one mentions Fergie's song steals from both Gwen Stefani (Hollaback Girl) and Nelly Furtado (Maneater).

Frankly, neither of the videos are that great. But, thank you to Ray for mentioning that if you have a song called "London Bridge", you should not show images of a completely different bridge.

I can only think of one person sick enough to have put together the cast of women in Jessica Simpson's new video ... her insanely creepy father Joe. Who in my opinion cast the girls he probably wants to watch ... oh hell why not ... PARTICIPATE with in having sex with his Daughter ... 10 to 1 the deepthroating of the ice cream cone was daddy's idea. Hey Michael, this topic ROCKS!

When I saw Jessica Simpson's video for the first time, I felt that the actresses she picked didn't work. It feels too fake, almost like the girls in the office who hate each other yet try to get along. I agree with that phone call comment Eva Langoria made, she doesn't look natural in this video.
As for Fergie, as she say in her song, "me love you long time"!

I think Jessica's video is a great summer time video. She really didn't have much to work with that horrible "Holiday" knockoff of a song. But thats another post. Fergie on the ohter hand should stick to being in a group. the song and the video sucks!!!!
