I'm not sure what it says about America's newspaper editors that they've delivered their best work in quite some time on the ominous 06/06/06, but many of their review headlines for the remake of horror classic The Omen are devilishly good. Even the more obvious choices -- like The Times Picayune's Good 'Omen' and Rocky Mountain News' Bad 'Omen' -- aren't bad enough to receive the PopWatch seal of damnation. So without further ado, here's 10 that left me shouting, ''Hell yeah!''
10. The Star-Ledger: A devil dog
9. Columbus Dispatch: Thriller cursed by mark of remake beast
8. Detroit Free Press: Faithful for a devil movie
7. Sacramento Bee: New 'Omen' is only a heck of a remake
6. National Post: My, what a cute little devil
5. USA Today: 'The Omen': Hell to replay
4. National Review: Every Thorn Has Its Rosemary’s Baby
3. Philadelphia Daily News: A 666 Sense?
2. San Francisco Chronicle: No, I won't go to my room -- and by the way, I'm the devil's son
1. Seattle Times: The devil made them redo it
