Wil Wheaton (Stand By Me) would be an excellent smarmy politician. Sally Field (Eye for an Eye) and Jeff Bridges (the Vanishing) would be awesome too, possibly as the future Mr. and Mrs. President. After hopefully Logan is assassinated.

William Hurt ("Dark City") was a terrific villain in "History of Violence". But here I think he'd fit much better into the White House staff. Actually, all three of Keifer's co-stars from "Dark City" could work. Rufus Sewell, portrayer of many a bad dude, could play a potential terrorist who turns out to be loyal to the US. Jennifer Connelly would make a much more credilbe assassin than Jenny Schecter--sorry, Mia Kershner. By the way, there were exactly 24 postings here when I hit the story. Hee hee!

OH, and then we should have 50 Cent on the show as an agent posing as a rapper posing a pimp. He could get shot 12 more times, sew up his wounds with a hidden stash of medical supplies, and then just keep killing people. Kind of like um Rambo meets 24.

How come it's not Six Degrees of Kiefer Southerland? The Donald Sutherland idea is a great one. But the idea of Julia Roberts as a KGB agent is good too. She could pose as the real Julia Roberts who is actually a KGB agent. And the whole thing would be part of Oceans 14.

Karl Urban would be awesome - as a bad guy or a good guy! Either way, he'd just be bad-a**!

And if you're going to keep the Lord of the Rings theme going (what with Astin and Urban), then how about bringing in Billy Boyd as a lovable scottish tech-nerd, who could maybe be a love interest for Chloe! What with his cheery optimism, and her sour pessimism, it would be opposites attract! Right? Anyone? Bueller?

I think the Kevin Bacon idea would be steeler. But I think (if they want to arch a story for three years)they bring in Kevin Spacey (LA Confidential), Michael Wincot (3 Musketairs) or Alan Rickman (3 Musketairs).

Those three would be great for villians or tratiors. Spacey's Kiser Soza, Wincot in the Crow and Rickman as Hans Gruber. Not saying to play those guys but they proved that they were GREAT bad guys. Who wouldn't have wanted to see Spacey as President Logan?

Hey, how about Daryl Hannah, Molly Ringwald, and Melinda Dillon from "Cowboy Up" (!) as a bad-ass gang of female villains out to subvert the dominant male paradigm! Now that would be fun.

Also, Katie Holmes was in "Phone Booth," so we could have Katie, Tommy, and Suri as a wealthy, powerful, slightly crazy family that is targeted by terrorists because of nefarious bad acts in the past. And Jack is hired to protect them (having been finally fired and banned from all public service after breaking every CTU protocol ever...)

I think I must be the only person in America who has grown annoyed and tired with the propensity for entertainment outlets and journalists to do the following: news story or rumor comes out, immediately followed by "Who do you think should be recast/join the show/bite the dust next?" type of "poll". I know these things are supposed to be fun for the readers or poll takers, but it's just becoming an awfully lazy and cliche way of doing business.

Well...from "Promised Land"(1988)Meg Ryan playing the same grugged up, schizo freak parade she played then, just now she would return as Jacks' young teenage love w/ their young love child in-tow and of course all this would not fit into his busy schedule and as she is in constent need of a fix she is ripe for compromise.(of course her hot pink her gives her away to all the would be no gooders)
Ok now for my Second movie I have a 2-fer. "At Close Range"(1986) We could get Christopher Walken and Sean Penn. Pair them up and you would have more then Jack could handle in 48 hrs let alone 24.
And last but least if there truely were miracles I would wish for him a trainee from a movie goin' back to 1986 again. A kid w/cool, w/all the understated mystery that Jack has, steamy under currents of more to come, intuition, a crooked smile and wise ass commients just to piss Jack off etc. etc....you get the idea. Well as I said if there were miracles that young fiesty, crazy-mad, feirce parnter would be...River Pheonix. That would be cool man, really cool.

I could see Jack now pointing his gun at her shouting "Why Sandra why did you do this to us...tell me now!!!" after no response from Sandra, Jack shoots her in the leg. AHHHHH now that's just good tv folks.

How about Colin Farrell from "Phone Booth" or whatever it was called? But not as a bad guy, he proved he can't do that in Daredevil.
