Teddy Geiger: Underage Thinking The teen (pictured) who portrayed John Mayer-esque phenom Wayne on CBS' short-lived Love Monkey does more of the same on this surprisingly mature collection.

My Chemical Romance: Life on the Murder Scene Their fans will eat this up, but this is one more band that, like the Arctic Monkeys, I'm too old to care about.

Ben Harper: Both Sides of the Gun With Lenny Kravitz off doing who-knows-what, Harper proves the best reigning apologist for '70s-style rock, folk, and funk on this sprawling, two-disc set.

Josh Rouse, Subtitulo Moving to Spain has been a good move for this folk-pop songwriter, as the Latin inflection to his new music makes him many degrees less dull-sounding.

Editors, The Back Room Can't wait for that next Interpol release? This will do in a pinch.

Soundtrack, V for Vendetta Julie London's ''Cry Me a River'' and Antony & the Johnson's wondrously odd ''Bird Gehrl'' seem like good reasons not to blow up civilization, and any cover of the (V for) Velvet Underground's ''I Found a Reason'' is welcome, even one as desultory as Cat Power's. The rest of the disc, instrumental music from the film, is strictly V for Velveeta.
