'Dancing With the Stars': Lisa Rinna wuz robbed!

Jan 13, 2006, 10:04 AM | by Michael Slezak

Categories: 'Dancing With the Stars'

9918__lisa_lLast night's edition of Dancing With the Stars brought out the Whitney Houston in me. In other words, I spent 90 minutes sitting blazing-eyed in front of the television shouting ''Hell to the no!'' Among the reality TV crimes committed:

Judicial Impropriety: In a move that added confusion to DWTS' already wonky points system, judge Carrie Ann Inaba was allowed to change her score for Tia Carrere from 8 to 7, claiming she had accidentally held up the wrong paddle. So how come she also said the word ''eight'' as she doled out her original grade, hmmm?

Felony Robbery: How the heck did Lisa Rinna (left, with partner Louis van Amstel) wind up in the judges' bottom three? I mean, she may not have been as flawless as wrestling star Stacy Keibler or journalist Giselle Fernandez, but at least the massive-lipped soap star got out on the floor and shook what her mama gave her, unlike a couple of higher-rated rivals (Carrere, George Hamilton) who did little more than stroll the stage and strike some poses. Last time I checked, vogueing wasn't a ballroom dance.

Reckless Impersonation: Is it just me, or does van Amstel look like a cheesier version of his dance partner Rinna's hubby, Harry Hamlin? Dude did offer the unintentional comedy highlight of the night, though, when he explained: ''Doing that [pole-dancing] class as a man made me realize and respect the feelings of any woman.'' Yes, because as we know, every woman is really a stripper on the inside.

Petty Larceny: Apparently, half the judging panel's paddles were stolen, as none of them were able to find scores lower than five for abysmally disinterested Master P.

Did you catch any other bad acts on last night's episode? And who do you think should get the boot on tonight's results show?

I would LOVE to see Patrick Swayze (IF HEALTH ALLOWED) to dance a swivel hipped "Dirty Dancing", latin style dance with Edyta or Chery!

It would give him something to look forward to, and AGAIN show everyone that he is still fighting and not taking the cancer lying down.

His "Beast" seris work was very dramatick, and this could be just for the fun and joy of dancing. Also his family could be in the audience and make it a family event. Someone please try sending the request through the appopriate channels.

Thanks

Rae

I went to the Dancing With the Stars
show at the Quad cities; it was fabulous!!! Lisa did quite a few dances with Louis---she also got to dance with her husband,Harry, who she definitly has eyes for. Also I would like everyone to know that her lips were deflated!! She looks really good!
I think that she didn't make it on the regular show, because Carrie Ann " Here come the judge" was jealous of her. Anyway I just wanted everone to know that she is doing great on the tour. The biggest hit of the tour is Cheryl and Drew!! If you haven't been to a show including these two, then what are you waitng for? Get up and boogy to the cumputer and order those tickets on line now. Areas and dates are posted on Dancing with the Stars in the Ticket Master selection.

Dena Judah Mon, Feb 27, 2006 at 08:56 PM EST

I think Lisa Rinna put in the most effort of everyone. I want to thank her for inspiring me to get up and at it. I go to the gym to work out and exercise now and I am now taking a dance class or two. I think she is more awesome than Oprah and I love Oprah. I am a mother of two and I am 42 yrs. old . Thank you for inspiring me and my whole family gives you a ten.I am sooooooooo glad Stacy got her butt booted out, I know that she thought she had it in the bag, sorry about loss Stacy!!!! I really enjoyed you and Louis, your the best.

I am so happy for Tatum, she did a great job for someone without a professional backround in dancing. I am so glad she is now going to be a regular on ET. For someone that was brought up the way she was(on her own)! She deserves the best of what life can offer.

mike Fri, Feb 3, 2006 at 12:25 AM EST

having a dance /fitnes background and being well a friend of the dance community lets say...i love dancing with the stars ,,,i used to perform and seeing lisa rinna makes me wanna get up and put on my dancing shoes again,,shes my new american idol

judy rose Thu, Feb 2, 2006 at 09:51 PM EST

lisa is a very pretty lady, but what is wrong with her lips? did she pay for them to look abnormal? over the top!

Severina Fri, Jan 27, 2006 at 03:14 PM EST

Seriously, P is an embarrassment to everyone he's trying to "represent". He said it himself, he's doing this for all Katrina victims. There are so many better and more beneficial ways of doing that! It's obvious he's there for all the wrong reasons.
I loved the show but I have to turn the channel when he comes on. I feel for Ashley, too.
Drew is a natural! He should win!!
I also noticed that Lisa's partner does resemble her husbamd, that's funny! She's awesome, though. Fake lips or not, she's doing her thing!!
Eeryone else is just alright, I hope Jerry gets to stay for a little longer, he's really trying!
The way this voting is going, I'm pretty sure I will be disappointed...

Bubbles Fri, Jan 27, 2006 at 02:59 AM EST

Dancing with the stars is so exciting to watch because of a star like Lisa Rinna, who is willing to go through all the hoopla of being able to stay on the show by really working hard at it, and fans like me support and admire this actress, fashion personality-businesswoman and soulmate of Harry Hamlin. Lisa's hairdresser seems to have managed Louie's hairstyle to look like Harry's, and I delight so much that she is into this with her family.

tee Thu, Jan 26, 2006 at 09:47 PM EST

this is a tv show and some of you forget that, its not that important compared to what is going on in the world today. ABC knew that master P was no dancing and they are loving all the talk and publicity that he has generated. Most of you idiot think that Master P votes are coming from the "hood" are stupid. Like American Idol there are websites devoted to messing up the voting for this show. They encourage folks to vote for those clearly not good enough to carry on in the show. Trust me the "hood is not watching dancing with the damned stars. Its those who like to mess up the voting and after reading all your comments regarding a man who stepped in when his son could not and who is not a dancing and never pretended to be one i voted several times and hopes he comes back week after week.

get a life its for entertainment and not that serious

Georgette Thu, Jan 26, 2006 at 01:54 PM EST

It's too obvious that this contest is a "who can vote the most" issue. Master P is kept on by his "home" group only. They flood the votes while the rest of the folks watching the show sit in shock and don't vote. Easy answer, EVERYONE needs to cast a vote, maybe then the show will have more class than it does now...looks as though the contest should end now and give the prize to the ballet stuffing winner...OR...VOTE EVERYONE VOTE...

Joan Massimini Wed, Jan 25, 2006 at 02:27 PM EST

Glad I found this site to have my say about Mr. P. Any of the dancers that were booted were better than him. He is disgusting and if he is voted to stay again I am not watching this show anymore. The public is not voting for the best dancers they are voting for favorite people which is unfair. I love watching ballroom dancing but to see that big oaf voted to stay every week is making me sick. Giselle never should have been voted off and Mr. P kept on. And, I for one, agree Stacy has had 14 years of dance training and it is not fair to put her up against unexperienced people. Obviously with her dance experience she will most likely win but I have a feeling Mr. P will be there to the end and the way these idiots are voting he will probably be the winner.

natalie Tue, Jan 24, 2006 at 07:40 PM EST

Who is voting to keep this guy on? He is getting such low scores from the judges, so there must be a lot of people voting for him. The guy just can't dance! Maybe the judges will get smart and give him 1's next time.

benny Mon, Jan 23, 2006 at 03:41 PM EST

I did care who won... but now I don't. With the unfair method of scoring, keep everyone, because I'm gone. I'll be watching a channel other than ABC.

Jane Mon, Jan 23, 2006 at 01:35 PM EST

Master P is a joke, and a disgrace to Ballroom Dancing. I have quit watching the show because of him.

Jane

Ella Sun, Jan 22, 2006 at 11:51 PM EST

Add me to the list of those who wish to see Master P booted from the show. He is a disgrace to ballroom dancing and dancing period! I so think that Lisa Rinna is one of the best dancers, but gets no respect. If I had my say---the woman judge (didn't bother to get her name because I still dislike her from last season)would be fired. She is a Witch!!! I do have a theory about Lisa Rinna. Maybe she is being shown as the underdog now, but already pegged as the winner. Who would have thunk that the chick from General Hospital would win last season? She reallllllllllly couldn't dance! By the way---somebody tell George Hamilton to go home and practice his gang signs. Enough of the stereotype!

Carrie Sun, Jan 22, 2006 at 10:28 PM EST

I love this show, but it is difficult watching the celebrities who try & care get kicked off when "P" gets to unjustifiably stay. I was really sorry to see Giselle go, but look forward to the weeks ahead and obviously the night "P' gets eliminated from the show. He is on borrowed time!
Go Jerry! Love ya!

Dennis Lauer Sun, Jan 22, 2006 at 10:38 AM EST

I think we should return this program back to being a dance competion in stead of a popularity contest. Most contestants do not have the fan base the HOOD does.Your attempt to create suspense leaves much to be desired between commercials. please find a better way.

leslie Tue, Jan 17, 2006 at 04:41 PM EST

I sooooo want Master P to go home, I can't stomach watching him another night. He is a complete embarassment to Hip-hop and New Orleans. What ever happened to rising to the ocassion. His rap career has been over for years, so there is no Rep to be worried about he is already a joke in hip-hop. Lisa Rinna is the best like everyone else I agree she has been totally robbed. Please kick P to the curb along with those horrible sneakers!

Todd Tue, Jan 17, 2006 at 12:47 PM EST

I Lisa Rinna a trannie? She looks like a linebacker with fake tits and lips.

Herb Mon, Jan 16, 2006 at 01:23 PM EST

As much as I love this show, why is it called "Dancing with the Stars"? Is it arefrence to it being at night time because if it's not it should be called "Dancing with the N Listers".

First P has got to go him why are people voting for him? His partner is SOOOOOOO great and he just throws it all away, sometimes even literally (like with the shoes)! Why do people vote for him they want to see a disgrace every Thursday. I'm glad Tatum is gone because she is so self absorbed. She thinks she's so great because she's an "actress".

Tia and Maxim (Russian Dancer Extrodanaire or jerk) are reaaly annoying. They should leave. Giselle and Lisa were great and deserved much more. George is a little too "in your face". He thinls he's amazing because of his tan. His partner is great.

Jerry was so great! You can tell he's really tring hard. Stacy's legs are way too tall and should ware a few more articles of clothing and she should have gotten a 26. Drew nis the best on the show he is really trying to be the top Lachey. He deserves straight 10's he better win.

Bottom line: Kenny should still be on. P should've been gone by the first week. Asian lady judge is a HUGE perfectionist. Don't vote for P. Can't wait for next week's dances.

Thad Sat, Jan 14, 2006 at 11:27 PM EST

It repulses me that Master dumb-ass P is even in this competition, and to last two rounds is a joke played on this whole show. How seriously can it be taken. You are all sukas who watch now.

Nicky Sat, Jan 14, 2006 at 05:52 PM EST

LOVE this show.
Master P - should have gone, HATE him and his bad attitude!
Tatum - SO unlikeable, her personality rubs people the wrong way (an actress she says?! Maybe like 30 years ago!).

Lisa - judges are hating on her, not sure why. Her lips are over-flated now, but she's sweet, she has such positive energy.

Stacy..long legs, but too much posing.
Giselle...what news show is she on, anybody know? Those abs are distracting.
Jerry Rice...trying hard and likeable.
George...funny, but tiresome.
Tia...valiant effort after a baby, but no oomph.
Lachey....my fav so far.

Jen Sat, Jan 14, 2006 at 04:02 PM EST

Why are the judges so mean to Lisa Rinna? Honestly, they are harder on her than anyone else, even Master P.

I am so tired of P. I wish he would break an ankle. Poor Ashley.

Corran Sat, Jan 14, 2006 at 01:11 PM EST

Is it just me, or does Lisa Rinna totally rule! She is so passionate and always cheers when shes goes on ahead. I have this weird feeling that she's going to make it in 4th place, that is if she's going the pace right now, because everyone seems to love her. Cannot believe Master P. is still on, but I had a feeling Tatum would be going.

Kami Sat, Jan 14, 2006 at 01:13 AM EST

I can't believe that Master P is still in the compeitition. Tatum didn't seem that bad too me, certainly not worse than P (neither was Kenny Mayne). Master P shouldn't even be out there without dance shoes. I agree that the music, mostly the vocals, was terrible. Do the dance experts choose the songs? Also, I think that Stacy didn't really dance and didn't deserve 29 points. Go Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!

Nancy Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 11:55 PM EST

The music in this competition stinks! Your Song? Take My Breath Away? For the rumba? Drew and his partner quickstepping to Neutron Dance was a lot of fun. He's a pretty good dancer. Yes, Lisa Rinna was robbed. I thought her rumba, while not the best of the night, was worth more than 20 points. I just saw the results show and can't figure out why Master P is still on! This show will improve dramatically once he gets the boot. Glad to see Tatum O'Neal gone, though. Her performance was wooden last night. Dress was better, though. Also not fond of George Hamilton. He tapdanced in the middle of his performance! Cheater!

JTE Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 10:48 PM EST

If there's any justice, master P will be sent home tonight. He doesn't look like he wants to be there.

tammy Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 10:43 PM EST

Why is it the women get to do the slow dances and the men are all doing the fast ones? Do they get a choice between the two or are they given one dance to learn? I don't think it's fair all the women did the rumba and not the quick step. I didn't pay attention last season to see how the dances were divided up.

Lisa is better than Tia or Tatum if you ask me. She is definitely more into it and it would hurt to see her go early. She has really been excited about dancing and you can tell she's loving it. I am surprised that I'm enjoying her so much because I really didn't care for her before this.

I don't think the couples are judged fairly by the judges. I think they know who is getting a high public vote and is staggering their votes to give it more suspense or something. I also think it's harder for a female to win this than a man. A professional female dancer can make a non-pro male partner look good but that's not necessarily true of the reverse. I thought that last year and still think that today. Dance showcases the female partner more so than the male.

I also agree it's not fair that Stacey has had 14 years of dance training prior to this. That gives her a much unfair advantage over Tia or Lisa.

BTW.... the over 30 mins of recap on the results show was LAME! Glad I Tivo'd it to get to the live portion.

cj Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 10:33 PM EST

is it me or does lisa s'dance patner look like her husband

Corran Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 07:56 PM EST

The asian judge HATES Lisa Rinna a lot. No way we her dance even equal to or worse than George Hamiltons or Tia Carerre. If there is justice in this world, Tatum, Master P, and Tia will be in the bottom 3. Go Lisa, you bring a lot of energy and confidence to this competition and have a passion to win. I disagree with those who say Tia has a passion, because I have not seen it quite yet. She did not look all that troubled to be in the bottom two week 1

Lene Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 07:51 PM EST

I don't understand the infatuation with Stacy (and I think that her ballet background gives her an unfair advantage). Lisa, Tia and Giselle made the rhumba seem like a true "bedroom dance". Stacy? Well, technically, she was excellent (although - a little more dancing and a little less posing, thank you), but she was having a terrible fit of the giggles throughout. Completely unsexy dance.

Boot P. If he can't take it seriously, what's he doing there?

Diana Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 05:35 PM EST

I tried to vote for Drew but when I called it said that the number was blocked. So I had my husband call and it said the same thing. Whats up with that?
The quick step is harder than the rumba, so I voted for Drew but if I was going to vote for a rumba it would have been Lisa Rinna's because she is the only woman that did a figure 8, the rest of the ladies were stiff.

So far not one female is as good as Kelly Monaco or even Rachel Hunter.. none of the guys are as good as John Ohearly or Joey MacIntyre. Yet the judges are far easier on them! They need to step it up.

Katie Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 02:11 PM EST

First off - how come no TV watch for this show, while the OC, which has s*cked for a while now still gets one???
Second, Kudos to Maurine - "PU"!!!! That is right on the money and I am really LOL, although still at work. I love his partner, but please put her out of her misery of having to danvce with this a**. Poor girl.
No one mentioned Jerry Rice! He is the reason to watch. I love him and his partner together and hope they do well. I think that Drew and the wrestler girl have it tied up tho. What is up with her costumes? Could she possibly wear ANY LESS? i did not watch season one, but will have a hard time choosing what to Tivo and what to watch live when Survivor comes back - oh, who am I kidding, I will watch this and tape Survivor! Long live Tatum (she is too funny in the commentary sectin to leave)!

Nikki Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 01:54 PM EST

P needs to go home. He's not going to get any better. Lachey was amazing the dance of the night. Tatum also needs to try dancing and not acting. I still think she's on drugs. George was funny, showed class, but he did not dance a quick step. He's good for laugh. I will definitely keep watching this show.

sara Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 01:53 PM EST

I caught the first shoe and was dead set against liking lisa rinna. there's something about her that strikes me as slutty and playdough-ish. then she busted it out. not to mention that she has far more enthusiasm for being a d-list star on a reality dance show than anyone should have. she won me over that night and again on the results show. whe squealed with absolute delight at going ahead to the next round, something i haven't seen many reality contenstants do. Last night she was totally robbed, and is it just me, or did the rumba music totally suck? how can you be sexy to songs like "your song" and "take my breath away"? If the music is terrible, i jsut can't get into the performance. Oh, and Master P's partner would have been better off dancing solo.

Penn Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 01:48 PM EST

Why no TV Watch this week?

P is a disgrace. And I'm not even talking about his dancing. Ashly was thoughtful enough to buy him a gift and present it to him wrapped and everything. And he has the nerve to open it, through it to the ground when he sees that it's ballroom shoes, and then proceed to kick the shoes across the floor? He and his family should be embarrassed and ashamed. What an a-hole.

Tatum should not be interviewed. She's a wreck.

Stacey, Drew and Jerry are my faves. Lisa is good too.

Stephanie Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 01:20 PM EST

P is mismatched with his partner. He is really tall and he filled in for his son at the last moment. Tia just had a child, but after I saw the playback I agree that Lisa should have gotten a higher score. Yes, her partner looks like Harry. I am sure that he found that funny. The whole show is about Bruno's wisecracks.

Chris Alberts Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 01:00 PM EST

Dear Anybody-in-the-entertainment-industry-who-will-listen:

I like TV. I won't deny it. In the past decade, TV has gotten
smarter and brighter and given us a level of quality that most of
today's films can't even touch. I like the gritty fare of DEADWOOD,
the brilliant humor of THE SIMPSONS and THE FAMILY GUY, the incredible
view of reality from THE DAILY SHOW, and the polished drama of the CSI
franchises. And, yes, my family and I enjoy reality shows. My wife
and I can't get enough of PROJECT RUNWAY. And it's always family night
for SURVIVOR or THE AMAZING RACE. We also enjoy watching guys go for
big fish and bigger choppers and monster trucks. And sure, we'll even
cheer on another season of AMERICAN IDOL.

But now...where can I possible begin with a discussion of DANCING WITH
THE STARS. How can one possibly write a true plea to the industry for
sanity without resorting to excessive use of profanity coupled
with suggestions of how to place various objects into one's anatomy.

I will admit that I have been involved in entertainment on a much
smaller scale for most of my life. If anything, I am a superior judge
of talent. (Yes...Simon Cowell is correct 99% of the time and I'm just
sorry he isn't allowed to use the phrase "get of the f*&$ing stage!")
Therefore, to the producers of DANCING, I suppose I must first ask the
question, "Are you even trying to find ANYBODY who can dance?" I
admit, there are a couple...well...one celebrity...who looks like she
has some ability. I know you're focusing on B-listers...because
A-listers are generally smarter than to get involved on this level.
But George Hamilton appears to have an issue with standing, much less
dancing. And can Lisa Rinna's lips be any bigger? (Actually...that's
a rhetorical question because the obvious answer is no.) And just so
that I can avoid a visit to the emergency room, I won't even discuss
the ignorance of P. Miller. Whoever came up with THAT casting idea is
hopefully looking for a new job. May I suggest rodeo clown.

My second question is to the judges. "WHA?" Sorry...let me clarify.
"WHA are you looking at?!?!?!?" I have never seen more rewarding
of mediocrity since the re-election of George W. Bush.

My final question goes out to the studio audience. "WHA?!?!!?"
Sorry...let me clarify. "WHA is with constantly booing the
judges?" Just stop it. It's annoying...and it gets Bruno all riled
up. And we can't have that. And stop the "Jerry" chant for Jerry
Rice. The culture shock of hearing a Jerry Springer chant while
watching a show dealing with ballroom dancing sparks an intense pain in
the lightning bolt scare on my forehead.

TIVO changed my life. It has made watching TV a joy. TIVO can't save
this show.

Let me state that I DO understand the nature of this show and it's
place in the food chain. I actually enjoy concepts like this show.
It's just execution from hell. I'm not going to delve into the
psychology of how it's now acceptable to watch a train wreck. Not
only to watch it, but to phone in and vote for who we want to see
killed next. I'm just going to simply say that the producers of this
stuff can be a little smarter...a little sharper...and a little more
creative. I used the word "can" because I have set my personal feeling
aside to allow them the benefit of the doubt.

In closing, I simply ask all producers to dig a little deeper, go a
little further, make just one more phone call, and
please...PLEASE...don't ever stop striving for quality in order to
settle for mediocrity.

Sincerely,

Chris Alberts

PS - And stop killing major characters. You're screwing up my joy of
knowing that I can hang with my favorite characters next week. Anybody
tries to off either of the Gilmore girls, there will be hell to pay.
If you really think that "the characters have no where else to go,"
then maybe YOU or your writers need another job on another show.

lei Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 12:56 PM EST

I think last night proved that the voting is pre determined, what else explains holding and eight saying eight but the screen below said 7? I think the only reason why Lisa Rinna was in the bottom three is they are trying to pull a Kelly Monaco where we all voted for her in the beginning because the judges were so mean.
Wouldn't you love to see Tatum O'Neil just lose it at the judges one night, she came awfully close last night I thought she was going to grab the mike and start cussing!
I like Tia and Jerry Rice because they look like amateurs who are learning just as they should be, not amazon women who have been doing this for years. And Drew Lacey is a good dancer and funny too because he puts so much pressure on himself I'd be surprised if he doesn't have a melt down before the show's over!

Dee Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 12:53 PM EST

I also don't think the judges like Lisa. Don't know why.

Comments on others...
P shouldn't be there because he's not fully participating. Tatum's legs were so stiff. It was pretty funny. She could be out. I don't have any feelings towards Tatum so it doesn't matter to me but it seems like she doesn't have too many fans.

Gavin Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 11:52 AM EST

I have to admit that I think that Tia ia gone, which is sad. She isn't fabulous, but George and Master P. are both far worse.

If I had my way, P. would be on his way home. Last week I wanted him to come back because it seemed unfair to Ashley to punish her for P.'s lack of interest. Now it seems unfair to make her keep dancing with him.

Biggest loser, this week, even though P. treated those ballroom shoes as if they were carrying Bird Flu, was Tatum O'Neal. I thought her dancing was wonderful last week, even though she acted like a 12-year-old on crack. This week she seemed to take the "Hollywood royalty" comment to heart and act as if she didn't have to try.

I don't care what the judges say, either. Drew's quick step was the dance of the week. (I'm not proud of cheering for a Lachey, but the man can dance.

SF Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 11:51 AM EST

That was really heartbreaking when Tia didn't get any applause! I think the audience didn't hear the host, though. I love the male host's snark, his swipe at Master P about wearing ballroom shoes only if he could promote them and sell them as P Miller shoes was hilarious, and so true. go home dude! I wish Romeo hadn't gotten hurt, he would have been adorable in this competition. Poor Ashley, and Lisa Rinna definitely deserved better scores.

Maurine Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 11:50 AM EST

I don't think Stacy deserved 29. She and her partner basically stayed in one spot. I thought Lisa and Giselle were much better.

P is pitiful. PU! Please put us out of our misery and send him home. He was so rude when Ashly gave him dancing shoes. He says he's trying, but it doesn't look like he is.

YES!!! I thought Louis looked like Lisa's hubby too! :)

I thought Tia looked great. Tatum wasn't as good as in the past. Lisa's music was so slow. Drew was excellent. Jerry was good too.

P needs to go home!!!

eric Fri, Jan 13, 2006 at 11:49 AM EST

I made it over for a minute and just in time to see Tatum claim to be an "actress"! I think if we keep her on, she may have a break-down and that's good TV. Alas, if America takes to Tatum the way they did to Trista (who was a fine dancer in her one episode), Tatum will be gone with the turn, turn, turn...

Unfortunately, as much as I like her, I don't think Tia has a big enough fan base to make it through another week. Which is sad because I think both her and Lisa Rinna, especially, really want to be there and learn these dances, and someone like Master P will probably get enough sympathy votes to stick around even though her can't even bring himself to wear the right shoes.

And I'm sorry, but, George Hamilton has also got to go.

Omg this show is so addictive.
Poor Lisa she was terrific, but the music backing her up sucked and didn't go with the moves. Tatum annoys me and she and P should get the boot. They both don't try and rely on their personas to get them through each week. Keep celebs who try like Tia. P is ridiculous and I loved that George made fun of him. Is it just me or does the wrestler chick and her partner seem like they are in love? Or that he has a big crush on her? Anyhoo, best of the night, Stacey, Drew, and Giselle (she rocked) and the judges didn't seeme to notice.

Giselle (journalist? What, does she write for US Weekly?) begging for the Latino vote was so cringe-worthy. She was good, but I don't get how she is a 'star'.

And, seriously, what did Ashley do to get stuck with P? Bless her heart.

at the end when they were announcing everyone again, everyone got applause but Tia! wow...that's not a good sign. i missed her dance last night, but she couldn't have been worse than P. ugh. he's got such an attitude. he keeps saying he's a role model for "the hood", but what he's showing any kid out there is to be defiant and not commit to something. hope he gets the boot. poor tatum, she was way too stiff and did she flip the judges off or did i imagine that? she's got a bad attitude as well, but she has potential.

kudos to any woman who could do the splits like that!! wowza.

P is a defensive, insecure cry-baby. If he doesn't want to be doing this and can't laugh at himself, he should just quit. I'm embarassed for the man! Katrina victims my you-know-what!

Drew Lachey was the best of the night. His dance was so full of TRUE quick steps that we can forgive the minor blip in one sequence. Too many others just walked and posed. Dull!

Please, please, please let it be Master P going home tonight! I'm not sure how much more of him I can take. My heart goes out to poor Ashley. She deserved so much more than this.

And could P please stop saying that he's doing the show for Katrina victims? I don't see how his horrible performances could possibly benefit those people - other than to give them a much-needed laugh.
